The balls on this guy I tell ya. He says the king can jump two spaces. Anyways I'm glad your here. I want to ask you something. I want to ask you for your opinion. A matter of fact, I'll ask all. Revenge Killing. You see, Revenge is best served Cold I was told. So your Father was murdered and the Killer was never found. But you do a little digging here and there, asking questions and what not and Hear word from the Grape Vine who killed your father. As being your fathers son, I would think you would take it upon yourself to set your fathers soul to rest by taking Revenge on his Killer. Can this be justified? Eye for an eye? I personally think if You live by the gun, you'll die by the gun. Every man/women of the underworld will meet that bullet with there name on it. So I'm just saying, Father, husband or son, what ever the relationship, can revenge killing be justified? Can two wrongs make a right? Riddle takes the flask back and pockets it. |

More often than not, the person who killed your father will be in a fairly strong position to have already done that. The chances of you, being the son of the victim, surpassing the position of your father's killer is highly unlikely. I suggest that you look at what your father would have wanted you to do. Risk your life to take revenge on someone who was probably just carrying out the orders given to him by someone in a stronger position than himself, or try to make a success of yourself and realise that loyalty to a family should take presidence over any previous grudges. I say that because it is likely that to go out and shoot your father's killer will probably be breaking a rule laid down by your crewleader. Never forget about it, but never go out of your way to act on it. If your CL asks you to shoot them, so much the better. |

This is rarely an issue. The person who would even consider a revenge killing probably does not have the mental capacity to become strong enough to do the job. Not because it is too difficult, like Marc0 states, but because it is too difficult for the person who would even consider taking these actions. If you are someone who cannot understand that your father (probably) fucked up and got what he deserved; if you are someone who cannot understand that these things are strictly business and the hitman was just following orders; if you are someone who cannot put the family's agenda above your personal agenda; then you are probably not someone who will ever succeed. Your bloodline will always be sheep among wolves. It is the mobster who acts according to traditional mafia principles that might have the ABILITY to take out a revenge killing, but these same mobsters would never do it because it goes against their principles. "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." |

passes on the flask and exhales smoke, swiftly taking the smoke back in through his nose, b4 coughing uncontrolably
That's some good shit! But about this whole, "Eye for an Eye". I think it's very possible to achieve this task, but only if you're willing to throw everything you've accomplished away. To be honest, basically, that's what you're doing. You might not reach the same rank as them, but you can reach, and even jump dramatically pass their experience as a hitter. Therefore giving you a chance at taking them down. A damn good chance at dat! Quite stupid in my opinion! I'd just rank up, hopefully get blessed with a crew, wait till they die, go to their funeral, tell their son to contact me, offer him acceptance to my family, put one in between his eyes, and say "remember me" in his whisper. That's the only legal way to do it, since we got rules round this BITCH! SHOTTA That is all.... Marley hads back to his HQ to write this awesome plan down for future reference |

In my opinion I'd like to remember this phrase The Past is in the Past and not the one you've mentioned. Fathers can have a lot of pressure on their shoulders or he may have been a jerk to others. How would you know? A child always assumes his father was right. My mother raised me in this life, but never wanted me to belong. Things happened and here I am. Would I try to be like her, No I'm my own person and her killers haven't came after me and I haven't looked for them. Its past, its stays in the past. |

Esham strolls up to Riddle- and pats him on the back. In the end, my friend, its up to you. One can hold the grudge and seek revenge or let their indifference lead them away and forget it. |

Gaius wanders over and smiles... revenge... a long inhale from the smoke in his right hand he sighs I've got to be honest with you. There are only a few people in this life that I would consider 'revenge killing' for. Lets for instance say someone was to hurt my Godfather intentionally. That someone would definately find themselves swimming, and should there family or friends be involved in said act, I would probably assist them to the edge of a river and send them on their way. However, if I was killed? No I don't believe I would ask my son to take revenge, or expect him to. I would prefer that he build a long and lasting relationship with the individuals I have, and there kin. Learning from my mistakes. After all, that is how we grow, and how our bloodlines learn, from mistakes of our ancestors. Growing into a mobster to be remembered is the best revenge is getting a crew of your own, growing into a mobster that is both feared and remembered until the end of time. Gaius looks at the individuals before him... reaching into his coat he pulled a flask and took a swig before replacing it with a smoke and lighting up again blowing smoke back at them In the end if I was killed, it was because of three possible scenario's. War. Rogue. Or I fucked up badly enough that my Godfather sent me on my way. So revenge killing isn't the way its done. I have to agree with butt_ox on this one... unfortunately. Gaius grinned at butt_ox and waved to marley to pass the herb he was smoking |

Walking through the street on my way to meet El_Nino, I notice an old friend talking. I come closer to listen to Riddle- talk about revenge killings. Others join in the debate and I patiently wait for my turn to speak. "I think HydroPhonic pretty much hit it on the head, "The past is in the Past". My family have been shot every generation and one day someone will shoot me. I will leave instructions for my son to make a name for himself, the emphasis being on "himself". He's his own person and I don't want him destroying his life to avenge mine." "Once in my history, one of my grandfathers took the path of revenge. He ranked up, trained his gun and when he turned boss, his desired rank, the person he was going to kill was shot. He had wasted his life training for one purpose and once his target was dead, his life was empty. He died achieving nothing, this is a mistake my family won't make again." |

Not a bad plan Mr.Marley...but i suggest waiting to put that buillet between his eyes at his Mademan ceremony. Kinda puts an exclamation point on things. But then again, you would have to be bitter as hell. My ancestors have never done a revenge killing, no point, thye come back and do you over themselves and so on and so forth. I do however recall a certain drag queen who ran amuck around here, I think he/she dated Sprozza and Bighead at the same time. I would revenge kill that one...just because it would be worth it. |

Revenge has never got me anywhere! To be honest, i have never often made enemies by seeking revenge, though once or twice i have, and to be honest i regret it. The people i have made enemies with by taking action against them for something i did, were people who i could have become good friends with if i had just of let it go. Thats why revenge shouldn't be a factor here, if you live life the way you want to live it then there should never be a problem, whatever happens happens. |

As Deuce walks by he overhears the conversation and the invitation to join in. Waiting patiently, even for the children, he finally speaks up. The more I hear Butt-Ox speak the wiser he seems. I have to agree with him once again. However, I do have something to add or I wouldn't have spoke up. I believe that "revenge" killing should only be done by a direct descendant with the same last name. So if someone off's Deuce, it better be a Bigalo looking for payback or the hatchet should stay buried for good. Deuce continues on his way. |

First things first, i have to agree with Deuce_Bigalo about Butt_Ox, seriously that man knows his shit and has his head well screwed on. But to the point. An eye for an eye, is it possible? Yes. Is it justifiable? Maybe. Is it the right thing to do? Hell no! See if a son or daughter come onto our streets with the one thing in their mind being there parents death they will be consumed by the past in their minds, thus neglecting what is most important in our lives, the very present we live in. See we live dangerous live and we never know what is round the corner. If we put all our thoughts and efforts into the past we will not get very far in achieving that eye for an eye goal and the present and future will fuck you over |

Revenge killings just end up leading to a war, think about your father is killed, you kill the killer, his son kills you and then it just goes on forever until a war breaks out and everyone dies, so an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a bullet for a bullet jsut leaves us with a world full of blind, toothless dead people |

Kevin walks pass hearing the small debate MafiaT, revenge killing doesn't lead to war it just leads to another death. I have my own little grudges with people but that was long ago were it should stay. I sometimes believe eye for an eye but only leads me into trouble. Simply just let it go and move on. If your crewleader dislikes the other crewleader and goes to war then there you should get your revenge, at least get your revenge where it would count at. Kevin takes his leave going back to airport to wait for his flight |

Absolutely not. If that there were the case, people would be shooting their equal every day belonging to the crew across the channel. It'd also inhibit a massive takeon of bloodline hunting, which, to be fair, has no place in the dynamic of this world today. Your daughter, or son, usually has a fresh start in this world, and it should stay that way. Two wrongs do not make a right, and it contributes to the bloodline feud paradigm which has no place in a world such as this. |

PsychoGirl overhears the debate and thinks about it. Then she starts to speak. I don't think revenge killing is the solution. There is always a reason for a death. If I would survive an attack I would definately retaliate at that moment. But when I end up six feet under and my daughter will later on walk these streets, they will not bloodhunt down the one who killed her mother. Thats the past. It will probably only end you up in the orbits. lights a sig and leans back against a wall |

Revenge killing is certainly justifiable and it is right If someone kills your brother you find out who it is and you go kill there brother(if they have one) that way they suffer just as much as you do |

A man stands up to make himself heard. He flicks his cigarette into the street. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. |
