As days pass  I find my self stuck in the same patterns, earning the same chump change, unless I wish to risk my hard earn money on crazy dice odds going for broke...literally at some points. Am I knocking this? Not at all I'm a dice fanatic, I'll hoot and curse all day rolling those bad boys, but why not throw in another option, one where there's still that risk but if you do you're homework you can potentially shift the odds in your favor. Yes like the title entails I'm speaking of wall street's stock market.

I have no earthly idea how much this would cost to implement or if it even would (I'm assuming it might), though I'm sure there has to be enough people out there that would partake and even help donate to get it up and running.

The stocks would be based on the real life ones circulating, rising and falling as I type this up. Again I'm not sure what would need to be done to implement this but I've seen a handful of games do this that are being updated automatically throughout the day by google I believe (that part I can dig into and find out if needed). I'm guessing I'll have a couple smart asses comment 'why not go play those other games instead', and it's simple, besides the stock market those games have no sense of realism and their layouts are horse shit, no way close to being the game this one is.

If anyone has any suggestions please I'd love to hear them along with your opinion.

Im too lazy to dig for the info, but we used to have a stock market based upon the business districts. You could buy stocks of various places and if their activity increased, your profits increased. It was a grand concept, but I think something got borked in the process. Interest slipped and it was eventually removed to be repaired but never was relaunched.

That being said, I'm all for the support of something like this in whatever fashion that we can create.

I definitely remember hearing something like that back in the day but I never thought anything ever happened with it, though I could see that being easily manipulated now days with some of the cheezy RP's people do for the VIP rank.

Awesome idea, would help get income circulating around the game while offering a whole new experience. 

Many of the financial sites that list stock information and have ability to quote stocks etc usually have an option to link to their site for games etc. Though I would suggest if this idea is implemented to have the ability to do Pump and Dump schemes as the real mafia does...would add a nice realistic element and another way to increase the game economy.

I'm def in favor of this idea.

Maybe do real stocks, but just take the stock price at 00:00 at game time. Leave that stock like that for a day, that way it's not like we have to be all over the game and people able to make crazy money fast. Would keep a hold on everything, as well as supplying a new way to make money. 

They existed during this time period, but were definitely different than what we know today.

You ignore the possiblity that crime money can be invested in the stock markets to make even more profit, and that the stock market can be manipulated.

"Buy low, sell high" thing with constant changing prices. I feel like we already have that feature, don't we?

I have an idea on how to fix the feed issue.  Use one that is 15 min delayed but dont let an order go through for 15 min.  A lot of sites do that.
