An Open Letter To Rourke Started by: Tallien on Jul 23, '09 16:36

As you're going about your business in the criminal underbelly of MafiaReturns, something catches your attention on the ground in front of you.  Intrigued, you decide to pick it up. Hiding your disappointment from passers-by that it wasn't money, you begin scanning what you can now tell is the lyrics to a poem or song of some sorts. You decide, that it would be best read aloud:

Dearest Rourke,

You begin, before finding the rhythm faster than Camazotz finds his appetite in the morning and launch into the lyrics...

I think it has been far too long,
Since anyone sang a song,
To another member of organized crime,
Especially one who's semi-naked most of the time,

But here I am out on the street,
Disgracing the famous cobbles beneath my feet,
Because even after Marietta made the Friend-Ship sink,
You've still spread happiness, I think,
To every other member I can see,
Like BrianRourke before he died, R.I.P.

But while he did it by being a figure of fun,
Because he weighed just under a metric tonne,
You do it by making other people laugh,
Like using ~R~ as your autograph,
And by stealing Tallien's T,
How I love you in that grey hoodie,

So ignore anyone who asks you to change,
Or thinks that your behavior is strange,
As they clearly just don't understand,
That without you, Mafia is like Alice without Wonderland,
Like tiggy without Jer ,
And Cam without a bur-ger,

Shine on dearest Rourke,
With your eye on the hitlist like a hawk,
Because not since Nova walked the street,
Has anyone rivaled your majestic feat,
Of being appointed to be a right hand man,
Because they had a six pack and a sun tan

Everyone is looking at you as you finish your bizarre song about Rourke. A little embarrassed you stand there looking like an idiot.

"How very Mafia of you" says Tallien as he wanders away. You notice an emblem on the sole of his shoe, it looks like it says:

~T~

This truly made me laugh very hard.

Brilliant work, Tallien.

For some strange reason, I was hoping you'd do this, and you didn't fail me.

Way to go Tallien

Telkin wipes a tear of laughter away from his eye while applauding Tallien.

"Truly amazing mate, simply wonderful. Hopefully in the future you will again grace us with your ability to rhyme and sing."

Report Post Tip

Laughs as Tallien sings

Very funny man!

Report Post Tip

Haha, superb work Tallien. One slight flaw, if I may...nothing is faster than Camazotz finding his appetite, especially in the morning.

Silhouette scans the general passersby, and finding no one watching her, folds up the paper and quickly stuffs it in her pocket. Next time she wishes to serenade Kizzy and/or Paul_Walker, this should definitely come in handy. Satisfied, she wanders off.

Report Post Tip

Toni walks up to the crowd talking about Rourke and shouts.

Yum Yum Bubble Gum

Stick it up Rourkes bum

Pull it out,

without a dout

It'll taste like

Yum Yum Bubble Gum

Toni walks away laughing to himself.

Report Post Tip

Toni_Sipriani, I am going to sue you for defamation of character. My lawyer will be in contact with you shortly.

Report Post Tip

Rourkey oh Rourkey you're oh-so-much-fun,

despite this many people wish to shoot you with their gun.

don't know when, don't know where, can't fathom as to why,

to say I won't laugh would be a blatant lie.

Walking up to Rourke, Telkin high fives him in good fun.

Report Post Tip

No one wants to shoot him, Telkin. Go ahead and take your crazy pills now.

R.I.P. HMS Friendship.

Report Post Tip

My prescription ran out, sadly.
