Good evening people i am TamaRama and i have a few words i would like people just to ponder and think about although this is something people will no doubt have different views on

I believe that families should not be so keen to add civilians to their family as these people are not well known amoungst our way of life.Some crews will take on anyone that asks to be apart of what we call OUR WAY.. I believe that these people should not be invited to join families straight away and should have to prove themselves over a period of time before they can walk around with a family name as there back up.Many crews have worked hard for their reputations that they have and the respect amoungst these cities why should a civilian have the right to gain the benifits of something that has been worked so hard for. Now although some of these people have great bloodlines of parents and grandparents and so forth or maybe even they have been asked to be looked after.So i guess what i am saying is that instead of inviting people straight into the family make them earn it have a Made man,Capos, Bosses ect take them under their wings as a sponsor and earn the right to bear the name of our families in their back. These civilians with protection are able to start unwanted attention between families and worse war so lets not take this chance and have them earn their way up to what we have done to survive in these hard times

Tama, if you talk to a few people you may learn that I announced that was my policy a little while back. I believe the same as you. I work very hard to get to know my members, but a few bad worms always find a way to the apple.

I am happy to report that it has worked famously in my situation. Family IA's are way down and rule breakers are even farther down. Bonds between lower ranked are a lot better as a greater understanding is there between highers and lowers.

I do not believe it will happen TamaTama, although I do fully agree with your sentiments.

I feel that the only people that should be visibly part (on their crew list) of a family head's crew that are Made Men and above. Everyone else should be an associate of the people the Boss has Made but unfortunately with a lot of the defensive aspect going on having a full HQ I doubt this is going to happen anytime soon (besides in a Godfather run family).

well i believe it is somethin that all crew leaders should be thinkin about cause for all people may know a civilian could join another family and pass out information to another family to how they run their crew or you could pay someone for the information that families have to find out who the hitters and the big players of the family i think its somethin that should be thought about

Harold listens to what TamaRama has to say and then he steps out his car while drinking his glass of scotch and says

TamaRama, this is a great idea however. Civilians have 48 hours to find a home. Sometimes a leader will run out of Made Men or high ranked members. So sometimes Civilians have to be straight accpeted to your full family instead of becoming an associate. However when I am asked for an invite by a good civilian who requests an invite properly and comes to me respectfully then I take a look to see if I have any Made Men or higher that are around to take these Civilians under their wing, but sometimes I have no one around or the ones I do have around already have someone under their wing.

So that is sometimes the problem us leaders have when it comes to bringing new civilians into the full family instead of a Made Man's associate first. Im sure you understand that. Nethertheless your idea is a great one and one I would recommend to any leader.

TamaRama I have to say I completely agree with you. Family's work very hard to get where they are and by not knowing a civilian and taking them in you can take in a rotten egg. This is why I think it should be made that a Made Man or above in a family should be allowed more associates, up to ten lets say. This thing of ours is ment to represent the mafia, well thats how it was done.

(OOC - i know what i have said is more along the lines of a suggestion for the game, tried to keep it in character.)

Death_Knight i understand where you are comin from and i see that sometimes there are no other options but i like that you look for a made man or higher rank to take this person on under their wing instead of givin them to right to bear your families name so my hat goes off to you for thinkin this way

Donnie you are right this is actually how it is really done in this way of ours civilians thugs and what not should not be apart of a family without earnin the right the should not have a say in the HQ forums maybe the script of this game coupld be adjusted so that you can sponsor more than one but all in due time we might be able too

You know Tama, When i read this I feel the same way. Civilian Life is Civilian life they SHOULD work there way in. Thats how I had to do it and worked my butt off to get where I am also. Civilians should get a feel of whats going on in here and read the rules learn a few things about RESPECT for the love of god ! Thats only if these people are newbies ok..

However If it's some one you know from a previous character. They know how it goes they understand on how "this thing of ours" works. Which I think it's a wonderful thing..

but let me ask you this have you ever had someone that their previous character has been killed durin a war and they get dirty on it for they have worked so hard on it so they come back join another family and next thing you know they try and go rogue

known person or not i believe that is the way we reslly should be doin it remember we work hard for our reputation and respect to have someone try and come and fuck it up

 Yeah I understand how the rouge position works. And frankly When a mafioso goes Rouge just because he got shot from a previous life it's a vengance trip or should I say a power trip, They snap their brain doesn't work  and they don't think clearly.

This Life of ours is a complicated thing. We or should I say Godmother's or Father's can't govern the "way of the rouge" you just hope when they go on a killing spree they go quick..
