It was 1932 in New York City. I was 18 at the time and full of hate since my father Antonio the Godfather of New York had been gunned down by a rival family. I was filled with anger and needed revenge. I had spent countless nights in my room thinking about times with my father and how I wanted to be powerful like him. Days passed and I was walking alone on a cold winter night. I was approached by a man who was walking up an alley and it was very dark and I couldn't see him well. He stopped me and said "Hey son come here a minute I got somethin to tell ya." I approached cautiously up to the man because I did not know who he was and since my father passed I thought maybe it could be the man who gunned him down. As I nervously walked up to him I could tell he was associated in the New York crime families. I looked at him and said "What do you have to tell me?" He leaned in close to my ear and whispered "My name is Roberto and I worked for your father I know who gunned him down." After hearing this my face got extremely red and I wanted to know all the information I could from this man. He told me to meet him tommorow at the bar and he would give me all the information I needed. I agreed. That night I had a horrible time sleeping I just wanted to know who killed my father. The next morning I woke up very early and hurried to the bar at 9 am. Roberto was sitting in the corner of the bar but this time he was not alone he had 2 other people sitting with him. Roberto motioned over to me to come and sit. I came over and sat down. He told me that since my father passed he has taken over the role of Godfather. In a way I was angered by hearing this but also happy that the familiy that my father built up was still around. Roberto introduced me to the two people sitting with him. He told me that they were his underbosses Michael and Louis. I said "hello it's a pleasure to meet you." After having a few drinks Roberto told me all the information I needed to know. He told me Joey Carnali from the Carnali family was the person responsible for killing my father. Rage had set in. He asked me if I killed Joey Carnali I would become a made man in the family and honor my father by killing the man who took is life. I thought for a while about his offer then replied "it would be an honor to take the mans life who killed my father". He told me to come to there local hangout on 1st street at 4pm monday afternoon. I agreed. As the days passed I got more anxious in killing the man who killed my father but I know that it had to be done. Monday came and I walked up to 1st street to meet Roberto. He gave me the details of where Joey hangs out and said "He always has lunch at Mamas Cafe on Thursdays". He told me to go there on Thursday and he supplied me with a silencer so noone would hear the shot. Also he gave me a picture of him so I could recgonize who he was when I arrived on Thursday. Thursday came and my mind was clear on what I had to do. It was a very sunny day and I just got to Mamas Cafe and saw Joey finishing up his meal. I walked around to the corner of the building and waitied for him to come out. He had nobody with him. As he walked out I slowly walked up behind him and fired two shots at his head. He died instantly. As soon as Joey died I ran over to 1st street to tell Roberto that the job was done. He was excited and said that my father would be proud of me for doing this for the family. He said that I was respected by him and the family and to come back tommorow night for a suprise. I slept great that night knowing my father would of been proud of me. I awoke the next day and kept thinking about what was going to happen tonight at the hangout. As the night rushed in I walked down to the hangout to meet Roberto and the guys. They were all standing beside each other with smiles on there faces. Roberto approached me and said "Job well done kid you are now a made man in this family." At hearing this I shook all the men in the familys hand and they all welcomed me into the family.
