| Upcoming Money Problem | Started by: iBiza on Jul 03, '15 12:37 |

We recently had a massive war that wiped pretty much everyone in the game as we all know. After that admins were giving loans for people who wanted to build, now we are having another war like 2 weeks after the incident. There is about 600M cash available in the entire game and the war isnt over yet which means we will be left with pretty much nothing. So how do we address this problem? Well I think what admins should do is give people money in exchange for their credits. That way people who have hundreds/thousands of credits can basically put a lot of money back into the game (I know admins dont like to interfere but come on guys look at this... Almost no crews left) Also there should probably be a limit too as to how many credits you can exchange (Maybe 50 max per person) That way we also dont have some ridiculous inflation. And in case you fear that people will use the money for other things make it so that they can only use exclusively for Bodyguards or donating for fortifications. Basically the idea behind this is to get some crews going, not neccesarily make a lot of people rich. What do you guys think? Maybe add/take away some from this but I personally think this will be needed after this is all over. |

well actually isn't that what the marketplace was made for? to exchange money for credits and vice versa. |

| Correct. But as you can see the game doesnt have enough money to support the upcoming crews that will need to be built. That's why I'm calling for desperate measures. And to make it so that there isn't a huge inflation you could just put a limit as to how much a person can get. | |

Fortunately there's already a feature that liquidates credits into money (generated money rather than transferred money): Corrupt Agents. It just takes time and peace; which provides incentives for not shooting each other after wars (so money can start rolling in again). I don't think there's a money problem; we doubled the money supply from 600m to 1.2bn in a few weeks? And that's with people buying tons of stuff (BGs, DFPs, training ranges, HQ forts, etc.). So I'm not too worried about it. |

I look at some features as necessities, and some as luxuries. There is enough earning potential and money currently in the game to cover all necessities, and very shortly after the war there will be enough for the luxuries too. As long as there is money on the right side of the marketplace, then people will always be able to sell their credits. If it reaches a point where the right side dries up for too lengthy of a time, we can consider propping up the right side of the market temporarily. (Although I don't think I've ever seen the right side empty for more than a few hours a time in our history if I recall) |

Hmm. Maybe money is not a problem on this game :P
We could earn money through finishing basic achievements phase, Marketplace then 20's and 50's promo creds in irc :) " Just an opinion "
Smiled back as he left, Cheers! |
