Draven walks over to the nearest telephone pole and posts a new contest to all those interested in participating. Starting now and running till Aug 1st at midnight I am looking for someone to complete the ending to my story. See I get horribly stuck and would love to be able to find the perfect ending. I require very little to be able to enter this little contest. First you simply must bring a close to the story and must also explain in some sort of way as to why I have had a gun pulled on me. Draven shrugs.. Not too hard I don't think. Now the prize.. You get 2 credits and 100,000.. I realize it might not be too terribly much but I also hope we all have a little fun with this. Well to all enjoy and GOOD LUCK and happy writing!! The ocean air filled Draven's nostrils as she wandered up and down the beach. Bending over to pick up a shell she threw it back watching it disappear into the black water. The sun sparkled and danced across the blackness as she sunk down taking her shoes off and letting her toes scrunch up in the sand. Looking up she watched a sea gull high above dive down to pick up a fish that was near the surface and then fly off into the distance with it dangling from it's mouth. The salt in the air felt sticky on her skin as she leaned back and relaxed in the warmth of the sun and sand. Suddenly feeling a tap on her shoulder she looked back and saw him there. Hey.. You startled me. She looked back forward and rested on her elbows. Her toes still digging in the sand that now almost covers her feet. You know that people go missing out here? His voice was deep and quite as he walked around in front of her. Yeah yeah, but usually at night. It's not even close to that. Her voice giggled as she motioned for him to get out of her sun. Draven. Get up. Get up NOW! He seemed angry as his eyes glared down at her. Confused and falling silent she rose up and brushed the sand off of her clothes and from her feet before she bent over and got her shoes.Suddenly feeling something cold on her back she started to turn around and was abruptly stopped by a hand at her throat. She felt so small and frail against him as she struggled to free herself. He pushed her quickly backwards and she tripped falling over. Grabbing a handful of sand she rolled over quickly and tossed it in his eyes. Bitch.. His voice rang out as he wiped his face and looked back at her as she struggled to get up. Oh no. You aren't going to do that. She felt him push her back down as she was almost to her knees. Breathing heavily she rolled over to see him standing over her with his gun pulled out. Why? I don't understand.. She held back her tears as she felt helpless. Seeing her bag she slowly let her hands fall out from under her to make it look like she had collapsed. Quickly she reached for her bag... The silence further down the beach was broken as civilians enjoying their day heard a loud bang.... |

Draven held the smoking gun in her hand. The big man dropped his gun and fell to his knees, clutching his stomach as his life leaked out of his gut. Draven watched as bright arterial blood began to ooze between his fingers. "You... you shot me..." He fell forwards onto his face in the sand. Draven quickly reached into his pocket and removed his wallet, looking for some identification. She found it, but quickly wished she hadn't. "Sheriff Alan Parsons. Shit." She had killed a cop. This was bad. But he was going to kill her, it was self defense, right? It wouldn't look that way in court. It looked like she ambushed and murdered a cop. The tide was beginning to come in and the waves were getting closer to the body. She made up her mind. She gathered her things and calmly left the scene. The tide would wash away the body and, with any luck, the sharks would find the body before anyone else. As she made her way to the car, she saw a crowd of civilians running down the beach. She followed the crowd with her eyes, but they weren't running toward the dead sheriff. There was another body on the beach, a man in uniform. "Damn it," she thought. "I shot the sheriff, but I didn't shoot the deputy." She was in luck. They would never find the sheriff's body and there was no connection between her and his deputy. It would be another month before the reason for the attempt on her life would be revealed... |

first of all..i would like to thank brandon_heat and draven for informing me about this contest.. The sand who are peacefully scattered in the beach was bathed by unrecognized liquid ~blood. The big man once on his arrogant face fades into a melancholy, helpless piece of trash. Awaiting for his death he chuckled this is not over yet they will haunt you bitch. Last words coming from the devil's mouth.Shock draven burst out with tears realizing what was she heard she quickly wipe it and grabs for identification on the big man's pocket. A velvet gold wallet dash out from her hands. She opened it, a more shocking revelation ~so this family wants to take me down |
