All jokes aside, Remus had more balls than he did brains. What he did was out of self interest and not out of interest of his family, district, or these so-called allies. Is that a bad thing? Eh, not really, self interest comes in at one point, but this was still premature on his part. A two shot kill to start things off shows that his family / district involvement was at a limit. Say what you like, but that doesn't make you a good leader. It makes you a bad one. Half of Remus, Alice, Whoreable, and YourNextWife's families were slaughtered after that without a chance to really put up a fight, because well, it was a two man wave.

Normally, I would argue that critiquing speeches like this is simply a waste of time, but I guess I'm just too frustrated with some of the blatant stupidity in this world not to comment today. It would seem that if people’s behavior isn’t corrected, it is likely to repeat itself.

First off, you're a turncoat. Shut your un-wifely, disloyal mouth. There's no way to argue around that. Your reasoning is completely unintelligible. You could've simplified your stance in a single sentence and this wouldn’t have been the place to do it. Coffee shops would’ve been fine. “I liked my friends in the other cities more than Spartacus' stance in the war.” People might have actually been more accepting of that, but your bizarrely poor form of denial made it so much worse.

You can rattle all of your pitiful reasoning, but at the end of the day, you picked a differing side from your city because of your own separate out of city alliances. Anyone with any brains would know that Spartacus would not closely associate with the likes of Detroit, in terms of strategy. While her lineage did run with similar lines in recent history, the same can be said of her line with certain specific lines in Philadelphia. More importantly, she worked directly under those in Philadelphia in lineage. The lines in Detroit were a bit more distant. So, she may have had some “friendly” conversations with Detroit, but she made a crystal clear choice of her stance, based on their actions and her own following actions, not to side with them. On the other hand, your lineage most likely ran closer with Detroit and Whorable’s. So, we had you in the war room, and you decided to defect after Spartacus died, while Lancelot, one of the other auths of Vegas stayed true to Spartacus, the ex-effective city head. 

What perplexes me though is why you want people to ponder over your reasoning. It seems obvious enough, but you decided to publicize it, and asked us to ponder. You asked us to do something, which takes a lot of nerve from someone in your situation, but here I am, following your order. I'm pondering, but not about your reasoning. I'm pondering as to why you would want to even bother telling any of us your reasoning in such a childish manner... Are you seeking acceptance? I don't see that anywhere in the deck really. Acceptance is the only thing I could see you seeking for us to realize through the imperatives of pondering. It isn't going to happen... So your little confession should not bring any sort of bit of catharsis to you.

It is, in fact, you who need to ponder. Ponder as to why you came here. Is it remorse? Did you make a mistake? An oopsie? Ponder as to why you made your decision. Was it for your city? Or more likely it was for some friends of yours who made a bad decision and you felt that you had to go along for the ride so that they didn't hold it against you later? If that's the case, then perhaps, you should simply stay quiet, swallow the guilt, and all the heat your line will take for something like this. Certainly, there is some maturing left to be done for you. You should also learn from your mistakes because any time you are authed by someone, you need to stick with their status quo, at least through the rest of a war. Mid war turncoats are looked at most harshly. There is no respect for that in this world, and there are no excuses. There are very few things that are used to judge people's loyalty here because a lot of the time, some people just get far in the world based on their pocketbook. However, the stunt you pulled is unforgivable. There have been many like you in history. I assure you it is not forgotten. It leaves a horrible scar, especially in a large scale war like this. If I asked anyone who was involved in the May War: Who was a turncoat? They'd respond instantly. “Fucking so and so…”

For this Whores War or CYBZ WAR or whatever we’re going to call it in the future, you will be one of those remembered for it, turn-coating. Coming out here was a huge error in thinking, pondering. Learn from your mistakes as many people do, and grow from them. You were certainly not mature enough for auth and one could have only wished Spartacus had that foresight, but she can be generous and trusting. But do not tell anyone to ponder something, because anyone with sound mind will ponder you first, and when you're as flimsy as cellophane caught on a tree branch in a storm, they'll realize you're not really worth trying to catch out of the wind. It is clear you care about what people think of you, or else you wouldn't have come here so add that to your slew of hypocrisies.
