Being new to this city, Grasshopper wanted to take his time and explore Detroit. It was no time for exploring though; a big war between the biggest families was still on, everyone's hot and smoking gun was still locked and loaded. This city has become the city of the dead, he thought, and probably the other cities aren't much better. There wasn't a single soul lingering in the streets; just plain, long-lasting silence interrupted by a couple of gunfires once in a while. He didn't mind though. Even if he convinced himself he wants to bump into someone else, it would be a lie. He didn't want to disturb neither the living nor the dead. A simple yet sadly accurate thought crossed his mind: I think I'll need to find someone to take me in really soon, or I'm as good as dead. But how was that even possible? Searching sponsor between all those thugs and petty thieves in the midst of this chaos was probably harder than searching for needles in a haystack. Even then, would that man take him in? He knew that finding someone (and especially a made mafioso) could mean a hole in his head; he was totally helpless. Nevertheless, I have to try, he thought. That's all I can do for now. So he ventured forth to meet his destiny, mustering his courage to cross the streets, wondering who would be the first person he would come across... |

Marttimus was walking the streets when he saw a man speaking to himself, approaching the man he understands the scene and the mans plight.
HAIL VONGOLA!, I see you are troubled by the world and what the gods have bestowed upon us. I too am a man in search of glory and honor and status, I walk upon these streets with my ambitions and dreams. I hail you my fellow man. |

Grashopper approached Marttimus cautiously; he didn't seem to be dangerous. At first impression he seemed a slightly odd, friendly and proud young fella, probably the type of man who's always doing things by the book. Grasshopper loosened up.
