As the previous weekend had us covered in bullets and frantically dashing about the place, staying in cover as much as possible, the festivities were pretty much overlooked. This weekend, I hear the Durdens have vowed to return again, with a fresh batch of society hating morons. They threaten our way of doing business and they gotsta go.

However, to show these punks that their intrusion is nothing more than a minor distraction we have decided to put on, for all citizens of our country, regardless of origins, a fun filled weekend. With "for the fun of it" style games for all to join in, where there will be prizes awarded. We'll also be bribing the wardens of the jails through out the six cities throughout the weekend to allow our mobsters a crack at testing the jail's security systems.

All weekend, from when the first Durdens land, until the last Durden falls (or 23:59 Sunday if it comes first) there will be a pick pocket competition. If you keep a journal of your thieving activities and submit them, you will be entered for the possibility of being awarded super spiffy prizes for your prowess, including a "Durden mapping" which is code for, my guys knows a guy who knows where those Durd hide-outs are all located and when they're likely to be in them to find. As well as other prizes.

Along side the intermittent jail activities, the pick pocketing and frantic Durden hunt... our city has found itself in a bit of a jam. I personally owe a favour to a mobster buddy of mine, by the name of Al Capone, apparently someone has been sniffing around his tax files and he needs to get away, quickly. The problem is... those damn agents are sitting on his apartment, taking shifts to make sure he doesn't leave.

What we need here is, a disguise for him. We need people to help us out by designing a shady get away costume that will fool those pesky feds so he can slip away nice and discreetly. Of course, here in New York we understand you gotta pay people for their work, so we will be offering rewards for this, also. In fact I will be so grateful for assistance with this, I'll personally bribe the top of top within the police precincts to get their men to stay calm, if they should come along and see you in a gun fight with someone else. There will be other desirable rewards to be had at too...

Influence can hardly contain himself

I hear that that the wardens across all six cities have already taken an early bribe.  Just to kick it off early. 

Would like to thank everyone who took the time to brainstorm and set up these festivities.  Should be a great way to kick back and have some fun in between rid our shores of unwanted Durdens.  

Armada managed to get the cop harassing him to quit trying to pursue petty charges. True it'd cost him and true the bribe the officer took meant that citizens the nation over were getting their ass hauled off to jails, but at least he was in the clear.

With a lot of fingers in a lot of pies, the last thing Armada needed was the police digging into his business, over a little poster he'd put up in OOC Avenue, for the "painting contest".

Smirking as the sounds of sirens filled the air, Armada slipped away, to see if he couldn't be someone's hero by busting their ass out of jail.
