The Family Reunion Started by: Joseph-Ligambi on Jul 16, '15 03:27

Back in action and having resumed his daily activities as the head of the Los Angeles underworld, boss of the Ligambi crime family Uncle Joe was grateful to the men and women who had loyally served him and held down the city while he was recovering in the hospital from a recent turf war that ravaged through the various territories. Uncle Joe was especially thankful for men like Tony_Salerno, Nightcall-FM, Kavinsky and his two cousins Jimmy and Nicholas_Ligambi who watched over the families various business ventures.

With Joseph-Ligambi watching over the streets of LA it was sure to be a prosperous time for all who pledged their loyalty to him. There would be no doubt that Uncle Joe would look to establish strong bonds with other figureheads in the underworld to insure peace and prosperity for wise guys everywhere.

Uncle Joe wanted to see this thing of ours grow to heights he hadn't seen in quite some time. Joe wanted the secret society to rebuild to a point where families were able to explore cities long forgotten. All it would take was working together with the other bosses to insure peace so the numbers swelled to a point in which new cities would have to be tamed.

Report Post Tip

"Welcome back to the world of the living boss, happy to see you finally out of the hospital and back on your feet! We've all missed you a great deal since you've been gone in the hospital!"

Carlo shakes his bosses hand, before falling back in line with the others behind Joe.

Dude Fuck yes you were a great crew leader before super happy you are back at it and look forward to what we have in store as well as all the cash to be made
Report Post Tip
Back in action, signore Ligambi. I'm sure you have great plans for LA, it will be interesting watching them unfold.

Just be sure to look both ways before you cross the street this timsi? si?
Report Post Tip

The fact that the family has been 'held' for this person's bloodline is a joke.

Are the others in LA really so weak, backwards thinking and spineless that they really see this person's blood as their saviour? There's really nobody else? If someone's blood has to constantly take 'centre stage' to feel worth, then they aren't the person to you lead towards any sort of bright future.

I've seen nothing from Ligambi's bloodline, much less the current incarnation that strikes me as anything out of the ordinary other than a fat wallet. As important as money is, if that's all you followthen you're in the wrong business. Stacks of cash will only get you so far in this world... the rest is done via politicking and alliances.

You didn't go to hospital, you are much younger than your father was... he died, now you're replacing him. Don't come out here and ask me to swallow bullshit for breakfast.

Report Post Tips: 2 / Total: $70,000 Tip

There was a large crowd gathered listening to people congratulate Uncle Joe about once again leading his family.  Off in the corner was a strange man babbling on to a couple of homeless people.  Quiet Joe couldn't hear all of what he was saying but it appeared as though the man's butt hurt.  At any rate, it was none of his business and he turned to address the crowd.

What a great day for the Ligambi Family!  It was only a matter of time before Uncle Joe took back over.  Everyone raise their glasses and salute this fine day.  It's not only great for The Ligambi's, but also for the city of LA and the entire underworld.  May this day go down as the turning point for this thing of ours.

As Joe finishes talking he shakes his head as the annoying man in the corner is still with the homeless babbling about something.  He knew that disrespect was rampant in the streets, but wasn't quite sure why others felt the need to be such a pain in the ass on such a joyous day.

Report Post Tip

I'm happy to hear you think that having standards is such a 'pain in the ass', Joseph. It really improves my view of your fine organisation over there in the City Of Angels.

Joyous occasion? for whom? What is there to rejoice about someone with a fat wallet trying to delude people he has risen from the ashes? I promise you there's very little appetite for this 'joy' you speak of outside your own city walls. The majority of people I've spoken to privately about it are just as bemused as I am or just simply laughing back at me.

Report Post Tips: 1 / Total: $30,000 Tip

Just to hammer home a point JosephProfaci_, I think if you take a good look at my friend and colleague, KevinOwens, you will clearly see that he is very much Housed, and not at all homeless.

Report Post Tips: 1 / Total: $20,000 Tip

First and foremost, Mr Owens is a made man. You slack jawed fucks may not understand the meaning behind that, but the rest of us do. Secondly, no one is 'bu pott hurt' as you said. He was only stating the absolute obvious. A position was held until good ole 'Uncle Joe' could set up a HQ. People sit around and claim they're trying to change the world, but all you're doing is repeating history step by step.

As a side note, how many fucking Uncle Joes are there? Is the entire family named Joe? That tree doesn't appear to have a single branch.

Report Post Tips: 2 / Total: $220,000 Tip

''Calling several members of all sorts of families 'homeless people' isn't the best way to improve your city's standing, Mr. Profaci. Quite a ridiculous and bold statement. Unless, of course, you live in a different dimension than most of us.''

Report Post Tip

Hmmm, a different Dimension... I suppose if he were to live in a 2D world, a lot of things that happened in our 3D universe would just pass him by, unnoticed as he would be unable to detect them... not sure how concepts of intelligence, honour, common sense, respect to ones betters etc are invisible to a 2D being though... I must investigate this further.

Goes to look up Albert Einstein's Telephone number.

Report Post Tip

It is a sad day when the Left Hand of a family does not even know when one is homeless or not. I guess its really not shocking seeing as the city of Los Angeles had a hard time seeing that there was a war going on and instead were doing their own things until the very late stages where they finally helped.

Money can buy a lot of things, hopefully a new brain is one of them, I am not sure if this is possible in this day but if it is I definitely suggest going through whatever you need to go through and figure that out. You guys are doing yourselves no justice and what makes matters worse is my good friend Clyde busted his ass to try to make Los Angeles a city of worth and you guys have managed to tear that down and continue to keep tearing it down.

I hope you guys get your head on straight but looking at what I am seeing right now Clyde has a lot of work to do still and you guys definitely are a work in progress.

Ramza shows up to the 'revival' of a man who is not Jesus, not even Moses as a matter of fact. He listens on, smokes a cigarette to himself, then laughs to himself under neath his breath.

"Both KevinOwens and Eredin make great points, I just hope it's not going through one ear and out the other. Use their advice to ensure that you're catching on to the way that some things should be, or get offended by it. Either way, what they say is right and it's nice constructive criticism. So don't ignore it, learn from it."

He throws the cigarette off to the side and steps on it to put it out.

"People don't like to be told how to think and what to think... they'd rather do that themselves. You're trying to MAKE us think this guy didn't die last war and this isn't his son being pushed forward into the place that his father was once in, to surpass others, mind you. Sorry, but like Kevin, I don't buy it. Like the mail that was sent to me in the early hours of the morning, I had to ask myself 'who the hell is Joe?' Little did I know that Joe was a nickname for Joseph, and heaven forbid the guy had a last name that I wasn't familiar with, or tried to forget, but that's a story for another day. Point being, Joe isn't the lord and savior for all of us, especially for those of us that aren't from the Las Angeles area. As an outsider, I don't see a revival, I see someone getting pushed for who they are, and being overlooked by others. Death by father, replaced by son. Don't try to feed me cheerios, then say it's fruit loops, and expect nothing to be said about it."

Ramza shrugs, continuing to lean against a nearby tree.

"As Eredin said, it's a work in progress. It will be ignored, or it will be fixed. I believe it would be safe to say that this is something along the lines of 'your first rodeo'? Accept the help around you and reach out to people for the answers that you should be looking for. There are more than enough leaders about right now willing to lend a helping hand or their opinion on how approach your first ride. Use them. Don't continue to stumble when you can walk tall. Learn a little something and get advice from those who have done it before. We all remember our first time," Winks. "And I think I can safely say that most of us had someone to guide us through the hard times and the good. You should reach out and learn not to make the same mistakes. That's my opinion."

Carlo stands around listening to the bickering of Made Men, Hands, all sorts. He watches in silence as his family and boss are based again and again, finally he steps out of line and begins speaking.

"Is this what men of "honor" have become? A bunch of loud mouths yelling and bickering in the streets. I come from an era where we used to say, go a problem with how things are being done around here? Then rank the fuck up and do something about it coming out here arguing and fighting in the streets does nothing except should childishness and foolishness to everyone. Makes your family look back, and that is never something you want to do."

He pauses and takes a deep breath before continuing once again.

"Furthermore is it anyone business who gets authed in Los Angeles except the people from LA? No it's not, mind your own city and be happy there. If you wanted to have a say in how things are ran around here then you should've came to this city and spoke your mind but you didn't. You chose your own paths and your own cities, so keep your nose there."

Carlo puts on his hat and tips it to the crowd, before falling back in line behind his boss.

Report Post Tips: 1 / Total: $20,000 Tip

I think you seem to forget the power (or lack there of) that your city actually wields Carlo. You'd do well to pipe down and listen to those in more esteemed positions you, because they're already "ranked" up and I'm sure they'd have no issues "doing something about it." Once you've listened run back to little boys table fighting for scraps in a city that nobody gives a shit about.

Report Post Tip

Carlo chuckles a little bit.

"You know babo, I will hold my tongue simply because you are a made man and I respect the code of honor. But I will leave you with this I've gotten you units in 3 days that it's take you 13 days to do. So give me just a few weeks and we'll see who's fighting over scraps."

Carlo winks at babo

Report Post Tip

You're very naive if you think units has much sway in this world. You'll be still fighting for scraps for as long as you live in the little pond, little man.

Report Post Tips: 1 / Total: $200,000 Tip

"Excuse me?"

Ramza looks around to double check that he is in a public setting. Yep, he's on the streets. Not owned by LA or anyone else.

"A bunch of loud mouths yelling and bickering on the streets? As something that is being presented to the public, surely you expect some public speaking from others as well? Sounds pretty sensitive that you don't want others to voice their opinions and have an educated argument in the streets. That doesn't make people 'loud mouths', idiots, or make them want to run right to their guns to 'do something about it'. It's not even childish or foolish, it's being vocal, having an opinion, and caring about a subject. People like you try to throw those things off and not letting them happen. And some of us don't care for people who try and stop others from voicing their mind. But if you want to talk about rank, I guess I'm authorized under your book of ridiculous rules to speak in the streets. A goomba from another organization isn't going to stop me from coming out here.

And you're right, Las Angeles business is Las Angeles. But also like you said, this is a public event. You think this is the first time people have spoke about this same subject? Um, no. It's pretty common actually. Pretty sure you have zero holding over what people can and can't talk about on the public streets. I'll put my nose out there wherever I want because the streets belong to all of us, not one person in particular. If that makes any of us the things you'd have people believe, so be it. I'd rather be all that, rather than a mute with no opinion at all. But at the same time.... I'm not the one getting so sensitive about what other people think. I don't think you're anything (insert name calling) for coming out here and voicing yourself, I actually think the opposite."

Report Post Tip

Starfire, a woman who gets angry quite easily, looked over at the bickering boys as she entered the celebration, slamming the door loudly to get all eyes on her.

Can you boys stop comparing yourselves and grow up please? God it's like fighting over who has the coolest shoes and you both have the same brand and color... ugh. I come here to celebrate and all, yet you all are showing your butts. Show some decency and respect. I've been listening and honestly, I think we as people are better than this. Now, where's the decency in you gentlemen? There's a lady present. Show some respect.

Star said, flipping her hair and smiling pleasantly as she looked around, wanting to lighten the mood as well as stop the ignorant fighting and arguing. It was all nonsense.

Please explain to us all how units translate to power please, as we're all on the edge of our seats. Just a little point of reference to destroy anything you're going to say, the late Fabio rogued out and killed a Godfather in the recent past. He was somewhere between 40 and 45 units. That doesnt add up to the units carried by a Godfather, but it didn't stop him from blowing his brains out.

Just sayin, youngin.
