The model B Started by: Deuce_Bigalo on Aug 04, '09 23:47

With each bounce her breasts jiggled just a little more. They naturally strained at the fabric and if those babies kept knocking around they would soon be free. Bigalo had been on numerous flights by now, but Boeing Air Transport had it all over the competition. This Model 80 was miles ahead of the Tin Goose, at least you could breath. And female flight attendants beat those 3 legged midgets the other guys had any day. But turbulence sucked even with a view. He tore his gaze away and looked out over the lake. The Michigan coastline was a welcome sight and he breathed a little easier. He wondered if these airlines knew mob money was most of their business. Hell they had to, no one in their right mind wanted to fly. He tipped his hat forward and feigned sleep.

As the plane touched down the tires squealed in protest, Deuce came awake with a start. How the hell did he fall asleep in this death trap? They taxied in and he was glad to finally be on Terra fir ma once again. A Ford Tri-Motor was taxing out and he grinned at the poor bastards on board. Ford couldn't build a decent airplane, but they could build cars. He walked down the streets of Detroit looking for some joint called The Trolley Stop Soda Shoppe. Toto always picked the most unusual places for these things. Whatever happened to meeting in a bar he pondered as he passed a burnt out building.

He walked in to the soda shoppe and found an empty table. "Hey honey, bring me a soda while I wait for my friends." At least they would have clear heads for the drive back.

The guys came in one by one, then the couple showed. The lone men were local associates looking to make a name for themselves with the cities godmother, Marietta. Toni "the tiller" Andretti and Billy "lead foot" Luciano. The couple was usually seen together taking care of more than business, Toto and Lana. Five including himself.

"Ok boys and girls here it is. I got a tip that some new fords are sitting in a warehouse at the docks. We are going to go down there and check them out. You all think you know cars, and tonight we are going to put that to the test. We will need to work fast and drive faster once we are done. We are taking 5 cars back to Philly."

He eyeballed all four of them. Each seemed eager, he could see the look. Men got that look when they competed and when they were about to test their own limits. Women got it when they contemplated beating men at their own game. He left some money on the table, stood up, grabbed his bag, and motioned for them to follow. They walked several blocks in silence before Toto spoke up.

"Damn Deuce, how far is this place?"

As Toto voiced the question Deuce turned into a doorway. He expertly picked the lock and they gained entrance. The place was quiet, their footsteps echoed throughout the warehouse. No alarms were raised so Deuce clicked on his flashlight.

"There they are!" As the beam glided over the cars Toto suddenly exclaimed: "Hey those are model B's! And coupes at that. Hell we could have boosted these off a car lot in Philly if we didn't already have so damn many A's!"

"Yeah Deuce these are just glorified model A's." agreed Lana.

Deuce opens his bag and hands out flashlights, wrenches and screwdrivers. "Those just look like model B's, they're model 18's." Deuce looks over at Toto and Lana. "That's right. Flathead V8's. Or as I like to say, fast. Okay, you guys each grab one and start stripping shit off it, just leave the lights and essentials."

Bigalo walks up to one of the coupes. "This one with the 3 windows is mine." He begins stripping trim, door panels and other non essential items from the interior. The pile on the floor grows bigger with each minute. He moves to the body and strips the running boards, hood and fenders. He keeps at it until the car loses over 300 pounds. The others keep looking over and removing more and more stuff until they have five stripped cars.

Toto looks over the cars shaking his head. "Well Deuce, mind telling me why you wanted all the nice stuff torn out?"

"Sure, we cannot soup em up here and now, so I figure we lose a few hundred pounds. Then we have the fastest cars in Detroit. So we just drive em out. Fuck the cops, ya know? Besides they don't look half bad."

Deuce walks over and opens the warehouse doors wide. The air is cool on his face. It was the kind of dense air that these machines liked. He jumps into his car and starts it up. Leaning out as the others scramble into their vehicles he twists his hand in the air and drops the throttle like a hammer. They leave the warehouse with roaring engines and screaming tires. Toto, Lana and Toni are right on his ass but Billy stalled out and the restart cost him more than a few seconds. They blasted down the mean streets of Detroit straight for the interstate.

Corporal Bolinger was enjoying his night. The hooker blowing him in the front seat was good at her profession. The fact she was paying him off not to arrest her just made him harder. The car was running but it's engine was sounding noisy. As a matter of fact it was getting downright loud. When the four fords roared past he grabbed the girl by the hair and pulled her off him. He slammed the throttle and roared out onto the interstate wondering how someone could go so fast let alone four someones.

Billy was closing. He could drive circles around most folks and this stripped V8 was the best he had been in. He rounded the corner and hit the interstate near full bore. He could see the other four about 15 seconds ahead of him, he opened her wide. He thought it lucky when he saw the billboard advertising the new Ford Model B and grinned. He never did see the troopers car pull out in front of him. The four lead cars blasting down the road were without mirrors and could hear nothing but the roar of the V8's as they rocketed out of the motor city.

As the four cars pulled into the Philly headquarters the associates outside all realized they were seeing and hearing something unusual. Deuce got out and walked over to Toni. "Here you go, 500.00 cash as promised. Great driving by the way. Good luck in Detroit, now get out of here."

Deuce waited while Toni walked away. He turned to Toto and Lana. "Well Toni drove MrFCUK's car here, I drove mine, and you each drove yours. How do you like that, we all have new model 18's!"

"Model 18's?" Toto protests. "They aren't model 18's anymore, look at em! We need to call them something else."

Deuce looked over the stripped down dusty cars, as usual Toto was right.

"So what do we call them Toto?" asks Lana

"Yeah Toto, what do we call them?"

Toto grins wide.

"Deuce Coupes!"
