Los Angeles, a large and main city in California was located on what's called the Pacific Ring of Fire. Fire, an interesting word to use but Hell, why not? One of the many known facts about Los Angeles was that it often had earth quakes.. but did it really? In honesty, some of the more religious of people said it was the sign of a rising. What could have been rising from the flaming and torturous center...? The Pacific Ring of Hell. Many say that Los Angeles is often billed as the "Creative Capital of the World," others say it is the center of all darkness and uncleanliness. Others compare it in a biblical sense to Sodom and Gomorrah. This is where it begins... the beginning of hell.

A normal evening of sunshine and heat, the sounds of children playing and the bustling of people moving from place to place. It all seemed normal at this moment, well... for the time being. It was around noon, 12:01 pm precisely as the ground began to shake violently. This was no normal little insignificant rumble, this was a violent shaking, the sky slowly turning red. If a person looked at the sky at that moment, it looked like someone filled a dropper full of blood, dropping a spec of blood in the center of the sky where the sun was, and spreading it out, the sky turning a bright crimson as the ground continued to shake nonstop. In sequence with the sky turning a bright crimson and the ground shaking, a large crack formed in the center of the "Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels", the crack spreading and circling both sides of the building, causing it to sink deep into the ground as the ladies within screamed loudly in terror and agony. From the hole where the Cathedral stood, a creature began to rise in the air, only to be hidden from view by a massive ball of spinning dark energy.

Rising from where the holy beings had once stayed and practiced, the energy continued to spin and swirl, keeping the creature or being hidden from view. Not only did energy circle the creature, rocks began to fall from the sky, coated in flames. It looked as if the sky itself were spitting flame covered rocks down at the city. The people living in the city screeched in agony from the flames pouring from the sky, the sounds of alarms and cries becoming eminent. Buildings burned, the Hollywood sign itself was reduced to flames and ashes as well as buildings already having fallen over from the massive quakes. As the quakes stopped and the sky stopped raining, the energy around the creature suddenly exploded, shooting spears through out the city, spearing several objects and creatures. As the creature landed, a loud clank coming from the piece of a metal jar crushing beneath its feet rang through the silent area. "Have I killed them all so soon? No fun... I bet some are hiding... "  The creature said in a cold, bone chilling voice that could make even the coldest of hearts flutter in fear. As the creature walked through the demolished city, it could only grin as it saw a person against a wall, it's spear stabbed straight up through it's mouth, blood dripping out. "Oh fun..." It said loudly before laughing maniacally.

As the creature walked through the town, trudging through the bodies, rubble, and flames, it came to a stop in front of a long mirror. Leaning into it, the creature assessed itself. First off, the creature was definitely a female, but there was something different about this female. As she stood there, brushing a bit of dust from her shoulder, scowling, her pallor skin accented her bright, ruby red lips and her scarlet irises. The woman was clearly clothed in a black suit of battle armor, her finger nails painted a bright scarlet, matching her eyes. Over her shoulders remained a red sort of jacket, the lower area around her matched with a dark belt, a crimson skirt of sorts hanging as well. Although she did not have the weapons in her hands, a sword hung at her hip and a dagger at her opposite hip. After checking her appearance, the woman continued through the city, fire beginning to flicker to life in her long, silky, ebony hair.

Continuing through the city, the woman slowly began to get bored, only to stop as she saw a man. Well, he looked like a man.. sorta.. His leg had been blown apart and he was a tattered mess of  bruises, cuts, and burns. As she kicked aside a mailbox, she walked toward the crumpled body of the man, soft whimpers and sobs escaping from him. "Name?" The woman ordered to the man. "Stan.. Stan Sheppard" The man replied, sputtering and stifling more sobs. The woman seemed to grin at his pain, relishing every second of it before lifting her finger, pointing it at him as a ball of red energy formed at the tip, growing to the size of an egg. "I'd kill you Stan, but sadly... this is too amusing for me. I'll let you live... well... till you bleed to death." She said, throwing her head back to let loose a roar of demonic laughter that echoed to all corners of the once great city.

As the woman walked away from the man who had dissolved into sobs, begging for his pathetic life to end, she walked to where she had a clear view of four streets, stomping her foot on the ground and flying up into the sky, her palms raising to the sky. As her palms faced the sky, the redness of the sky seemed to stream down into her palms, leaving only the letters 'TRIX' visible for all to see. As she continued to stay in midair, her hair flaring around her, her entire body now coated with flames, she screamed loud for all to hear her. "You who live, come challenge me! If you wish for your insignificant souls to be spared, if you wish for me not to move onto the next city, come! Fight me! Or else perish with this city in my final blow!" The demonic woman screamed as her fangs glittered. After her speech, her jacket around her shoulders fell off, falling to the ground and incinerating before it landed, black wings springing open widely as she waited, grinning in anticipation to see who would dare challenge her.

Rusty hears someone yelling and hollering out in the street, apparently some woman was running around asking who had killed her.

"_starfire_, what on earth are you talking about?

You're still alive."

The young woman who remained floating, her eyes had flickered out of focus and back in. It was apparent that her demon side had lete loose for a moment. As she waited, smirking, the anxiousness of the creature could not be contained and withheld. "Come! Fight me if you think you have a chance" The demon said as she waited, anxious for more blood to spill and more souls to be taken from their vanquished bodies.

Jane was making her way to the the nearest speakeasy when she heard some rantings going on in a little side street. Trying to pick up the threads of the story, she couldn't help but think how confused this young thug must be to first ramble on about mythical beings then demanding to know who killed her. Clearly this woman was under some kind of stress

Hey Miss, I have no fucking idea what you are talking about but might I suggest you sit down somewhere and maybe have a stiff drink?

Madara watches the events unfolding and hears CalamityJane suggest a "stiff drink" to the rambling starfire..

"CalamityJane, I'm pretty sure a stiff drink is to blame for the apparently other worldly episode, starfire is currently experiencing. Some fresh air and water might be a better suggestion..."

Still soaking in the spectacle that was starfire having a complete public meltdown, Rusty watched as people started to gather. Some called for a stiff drink, others called for water and fresh air, the latter probably being the best idea no doubt.

Prior to her asking who had killed her, starfire's mother had appeared to be starring in her own one person show, snarling at passers by and thrusting cutlery in the form of a fork at them. By her side hung a wooden sword.

"Bless her" Rusty thought to himself, she is only a child. Someday, maybe soon, she'll understand she will have to play the part of a gangster instead of a swashbuckling alien of some kind.

Soon after, someone put the poor girl out of her misery with a bullet to the head. Rusty shook his head.

"Ahh well."
