It had been a busy couple of weeks since the Prodigy Headquarters had been opened in the Loop. Major conflict had erupted mere minutes after the late Don Obstacle announced that she would be taking on the role of Godfather and Voodoo would be assuming command of her family. The ensuing war lasted days and tried everyone in the land. Another conflict began shortly thereafter when Voodoo received word of a plot to kill him. Not two weeks later an attempt was made to ensnare him in a power struggle in another city followed by lies being spread claiming he was the mastermind of the completely incompetent scheme. So much conflict surrounded the early days of The Prodigies but alas, Voodoo finally had good news to share with the masses.

Ladies and gentlemen as you all know there is a housing crisis in our 6 cities. I decided to put an addition on my HQ, but short on cash I made the mistake of hiring raging alcoholics who did the work for booze. The most recent inspection of the building has revealed that this recent addition is dangerously close to collapsing and it is no longer safe to be inhabited.

Voodoo chuckles and shakes his head.

In light of this, and now with the proper funding and someone I trust able to lead a family, I've commissioned the construction of a new HQ in the Loop...built by professionals this time I assure you. Taking command of this HQ and leading a family of his own will be Eredin. I have every faith that he will do a fine job leading his new family and I look forward to continuing to work with him here. Congratulations Eredin.

It has been quite a struggle this district has been in the past two weeks and I know how hard you fought to get to where you are right now. Our bloodlines have worked in the past and did rather well together. I know that once again we can build a good district and help bring Chicago back to where it should be.

I thank you for this opportunity and as always I believe you know I will not let you down. We have been in this since the second I breathed fresh air, waiting out the time until I can ensure your protection throughout the war from bad people with nothing but war on their mind. I am happy to say it worked out and now it is time for us to get to work.

With that Eredin walked towards his new Headquarters and opened the door and walked inside to get started on this opportunity he knew would be a good one.

Illusive walks up to Eredin to shake his hand, "well done".

Notices her tutor in a fresh bold suit. She runs towards Eredin and gives him a big ol' hug.

"I cannot expres in words how happy I am to see you again in such a nice suit. You have made me to who I am now. I am looking forward to work alongside you. Congrats!"

It was a great and festive day in Chicago. The bars and the underworld were bustling with the new addition to the cosa nostra. And the person of the hour was celebrating with rest of Chicago...

I'm so delighted and proud to witness this moment for you my dear Eredin.
You've deserved this and rightfully so. 

*Raises his tequila glass*

He didn't know who the person was, or exactly what was going on at this particular moment, but what the creature did know is that he was always taught that it is polite to congratulate people when everyone else seems to be doing so. That, and to always eat your meat raw, because the blood gets cooked out otherwise.

"Congratulations, err, uhh..."

Looking around for a few moments he notices the name Eredin somewhere and realizes that must be the man.

"Eredin! Congratulations."

As he scans the room some more, he notices a lot of different words, and for a moment he really hopes that he got the right name and not a bottle of liquor instead. Looking down at his fins the creature quickly walks away after giving his piece. 

During most of the evening I was hanging with Pennywise.  He was drinking tequila but I still couldn’t resist a glass of old fashion moonshine.  When Voodoo throws a party there’s usually the best.   I was waiting for the crowd around Eredin to thin out.  I finally saw where there were only a few around him; I walked over and asked him if he could excuse himself for a minute.  He excused himself and as we walked away I started to tell him.

Eredin we have shared a few conversations in the last couple of days.  We spoke of this day happening for you.  I explain that I knew of your Father but never really had the chance to talk to him. It seems that you have picked up the torch.   Only loyalty and devotion can lead to this type of respect. To be given the honor to lead your own family is the ultimate in this thing or ours.   I hope you build the empire you dream of. 

 Congratulations my friend on starting your new journey.  Well deserved.  

Diffi woke up in a surprisingly very happy mood today as her very good friend was embarking on a great new adventure and she was excited for him. So she somewhat rushed to go and congratulate him.

I can not wait to see all the accomplishments that i know are to come in the very near future.

Diffi then turned and walked back into the street to continue her way back to work. Goodness know she had a full on day ahead of her.

Eridin, you and I's bloodline has a rich history together that goes back to the time my kin came to these shores. Im very happy to see you get another chance after the last time was cut so short. If you do what you always do, then the people who are under you are very lucky to have a CL that cares as much as you do. I look forward to see you develop another special family that will do great things in this great city of Chicago.
