Kobe Bryant does not belong in the same sentence as Michael Jordan. Kobe is a great player, but Jordan was more than great. He did things that should not be humanly possible.

There is no debate here. The answer is clear. If you think it is anybody other than Jordan, then you don't know basketball.

yeah i saw that clip babyfacenelson, I saw it and laughed at Mj to be truthful. BUT i'm unphazed at those few little clips. You should take the time to watch all the hours upon hours back in the 80's early 90's that man had clips to make You tube have a DAMN section of himself. Kid you not I like Bird and magic also. those guys brought the game to a different level..Don't forget Clyde either !

MJ was just a level above everyone else...Sure he lost ALOT..in the 80's it took him  8 to 9 years to get that 1'st championship ring. Thats what makes him a true legend I think. The day he retired AGAIN and for good was the day the NBA died in general. Go ahead and ask anyone in Chicago i dare yah ! you think it's the same....Hell no. Mj brought respect to the game and he loved the game too much.

To this day as a diehard basketball fan i was then. I don't watch a single game anymore not even the highlights. b-ball just isn't the same without him.

Pretty stupid comment there, Babyface. Of course Iverson can cross over Jordan. They do not match up. Jordan was basically a small forward playing the SG position. Iverson is a small, quick point guard. I'm sure Shaq could post up MJ, too. Or MJ could cross over Barkley.

The point is, one on one does not mean anything. There are always problems when you matchup players who play different positions. Muggsy Bogues could dribble past Jordan, too. Does that make him a better player?

I hate Jordan!!!!

Mainly because I'm a Orlando Magic fan. So if you know basketball, you know why.

On the other hand, I can't argue he wasn't the best, but we all know that Lebron will be the greatest of all time.  Simply because he's younger and will probably play about 7-10 years more than Jordan because he started at age 18 in the NBA.

If you're a stats guy, compare Jordans first 5 years to Lebrons. No contest. Bron will be the greatest to play the game very shortly.
