Many of us have our characters faces and profiles, but not many have ever revealed them to the world. There are many excellent role players here amongst us. Yet, I have brought this out to allow others to bring forth their characters and have them actually do so in character. Not just some survey that explains who you are or what you are. Don't worry about messing up or doing poorly. You will see that I am no master of this art like some, but I will show you what I can do. Now is the time to meet Phoenix. The bar was just opening up for the day as the sun rose in the sky. Most of the city was still sleeping, but there were a few people wondering the streets. The slight breeze brought chills as the sun then canceled it out with its warmth. A couple passed by who seemed overly joyous about their engagement. This brought a smile to a young woman's face. The young lady was mature beyond her years. Her face showed her young age, but her eyes told her story. The long, golden, brown hair fell into her face as the breeze pushed against her while she entered the bar. The only people inside were those who opened up. They greeted her as she took a seat. She had seen more than any heart wanted to see in one lifetime. The death and despair that most people avoided had been the life she dealt with daily. Yet, with some words from her mother before her untimely passing this girl took up the work that was left behind. A new beginning for a fallen soul. From the ashes she was reborn. The little girl that once lived in fear had changed herself into the brilliant woman that people saw her as today. Her determination and hard working demenor helped her move up fast in this new world. She was known for her being the daughter of Emori, but was now forging her own destiny and history. Many knew her by the name, Phoenix. She had earned this name and proudly continued to prove herself. Even though she was a quiet girl, she was a killer business woman. When it came to the social life she would fall back and enjoy the walls of her office. Many found this weird for a right hand woman to do, but none ever questioned it. She was pleasant to have around since her smile could light up a room. Yet, she would only listen to what others said and maybe chime in here and there. This was a good way to gain the latest gossip or even some valuable information. It is the quiet ones that people should watch out for. More people came pouring into the bar as time passed. Phoenix continued to sit and remain quiet. Her eyes were watching others as she tried to figure each face out. What was their story? What was the past behind their eyes? |
