My bloodline personally has consisted of all males. Having a daughter just wouldn't seem right to me because I myself am not female. But thats not to say its a bad thing if someone decides to do it. I've met plenty of men who have taken on the disguise of a woman merely to get further in the game, or to make a new fresh start for themselves. And the same goes for women I have accidentally mistaken a guy who in fact turns out to be a gal. This is just my take on it but I'm pretty sure for as long as my bloodline lasts we will all be son's of our fathers.

A son is always the heir for me...

Well strictly speaking OOC here, my first character was played as a male even though I, in real life, and a female.  It would be hard for me to choose one or the other because I feel I can play both equally well.  My only problem is fabricating a new character.

Well, as much as we don't want to admit it, we WILL all meet death one day. For me, at any moment up until that point, I would hate to see my son become what I've become. So, I'd bring in a nephew.

So if you do not want to have your son to become like you now..then why not a daughter?  she is strictly speaking your direct descendant

Whichever one I fell can take the responsibility and the one thats a better leader

My son will replace me. If for some reason he cannot, then my nephew will.

Your're a very funny man, haha! Seriously now, I could only have daughters. I admire those who can choose between sons or daughters but that would be impossible for me. A son couldn't pull it off.

Neither, as I do not find either one of them fit for such a task yet.

Yes.. a daughter is a good heir... but for this big organizations... a son, is very well suited in this role..

Well, Vongola_Ice, I know that you have your own way of thinking but you must take a look around you. We have Godmother Marietta and Godmother Aurora that have absolutely nothing to prove to anybody. We have crew leaders like ScipitaRourke and Kates (and if Ihave  forgotten anyone, I apologise) that have made their way better than most men. In "this big organizations", it doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman. What matters is your dedication and the love for your family. So, I have these women to look up to, and I will continue to have daughters.

For me it will all depend on who wants to carry the torch.  All of my children currently are associated with This Thing, so it might be hard for me to try and produce one last 'heir' (for lack of a better term).  I wouldn't mind seeing one of my nieces or nephews try their hand at it, though.  It just all depends on who feels the 'calling' next.  You never know until, well, it happens!

Well, seeing as both my kids will probably be spoiled brats, I'll just put a fedora on my cat and have it take charge of the family. I think it would work pretty well, seeing as all you'd have to do to get in it's favor is to give it a treat or some tuna. It can't fail!!!

No-one has yet managed to convince me they are good enough for Jedi Boaby. So, at this rate, it looks like my successor might not be from my own loins.
