| Customizable Hand Privileges | Started by: Sovereign on Jul 27, '15 16:20 |

Basically, the point of this suggestion is to close the gap between the position of Right Hand Man and Left Hand Man. I think a leader should be able to decide the powers/privileges of his hands, instead of them being set in stone by game mechanics. Basically he should be able to have two ''right hand men'', with a Left Hand that has the same powers as the Right hand (or slightly less). Customizable powers/privileges would include:
etc. |

Definitely be happy to see this implemented, as mentioned in the streets, the LHM spot has become a bit redundant. +1 |

Correct me if I'm quoting this wrong - But I think a while ago Don Guevara said that he trusted both of his hands equally but could only have one right hand. This would be a solution to situations as these. If you want that your Left Hand should be able to read and reply your mail, why shouldn't you be allowed to give him the power to do that? I don't think there is a need for this to be implemented, but I'd argue that it makes everyone's lives a lot better. And pretty much what KevinOwens quoted. It's all about making the Left Hand spot more important while not necessarily taking away from the traditional prestige of the Right Hand position. |

I don't follow the thinking here or why this is even required to be honest. The LHM position wasn't coded in for about 8 years because it wasn't required and it still isn't; probably less so now we have sponsors/associates, so I can see the argument for redundancy. But why make it RHM#2? I already have a RHM to do all those things and it is already overkill as I have a family of a maximum of 40 people. I don't need another person doing the same things two of us are already more than capable of handling. Once you get past 25 members, the coded positions can't even send invites either. I guess I just don't see how this actually "makes everyone's lives a lot better". I actually don't see any benefits. And, the problem of someone trusting both their LHM and RHM equally isn't a problem, it is just a statement of fact. If you want your LHM to reply to your mail, make them your RHM. Or answer your own mail? |

Although I am partially in favor of what Credits said, I do like the idea of the ability to give your LH more responsibility and treat them like a RH. So I actually would like to see this be implemented as well. |

I'm with Credits on this one. Why is it needed? What's wrong with the way things are? If it's to give the LH more to do then give them more to do. Get them more involved in the education of new members. Get them doing earnings/donations/fortification reports. Get them collecting witness statements. Get them running the hit squad or assisting. Get them collecting shot records. Get them running contests. Get them encouraging new members to become involved. Get them doing stuff in the HQ. Get them supervising the Sponsors. You don't need to make a Right Hand Part 2, which is essentially what you are proposing. Get them to do more of the other stuff that is overlooked and gone undone these days. Sure when crews were bigger it would have been nice to give certain people the ability to do certain things within the crew, but we have 40 members now and sponsors. |
