lot of family faces there,he come close to Doll and ask whats happening

few moments after that Seph say that he is giving auth to Vanesa

and that was reason to celebrate,so Liquid take glass of burbon and step up

"Congrats Vanesa,well deserved I hope that you will raise Paradise and Las Vegas very high"

after that words Liquid light cigar and step in side to hear other comments

She Al, I'm a lady. Please, have some respect.

First let me say Congratulations to Vanessa-Ives. I am sure you will do fine in Paradise.

Next, while this is still heavy on many hearts of Las Vegas, Seph did what he thinks is right for Las Vegas. That is his decision, whether or not everyone agrees  is kind of irrelevant at this point. He made his choice, I am following through with his request and we are still friends. Anything else needs to be said.

Now the one thing that caught my attention was you, Al-Zapponi. You seem awfully hell bent on trying to claim that I cannot lead properly because someone who wanted to leave me said so. Well here is the thing, the situation you are describing I don't think you have all the facts to make an accusation on. Oh yes, I know exactly who you are speaking of with all that you have said about them.

Although they seem to wish to drag my name through the mud you should probably realize that not once did Seph attack my leading ability. Not once has it been stated that I cannot deal respectfully with other leaders in this community, or handle situations properly. So while we can all sit here and share our opinions I think yours should be based on your own knowledge of how I ran my family versus someone else's opinion of it.

I would also like to ask why you keep telling Eredin to auth me. He does think highly of me sure, but currently I am not in his city, am I? So him authing me would be out of the question. To try and suggest I should leave Las Vegas, well that is my decision to make, not yours.

Aside from that, I would like to thank those that have shown support for me. I greatly appreciate it from friends, strangers and family alike.

Things are getting pretty loud outside and Charlie has to go see what is going on

When he gets outide he notices Seph outside. He makes his way throughout the crowd. He notices many faces and over hears some disagreements. He starts to listen to the speech and hears that Cin was stepping down. This came as a shock. He had been part of Cins crew  for a good time before he transferred over to ShyGlizzys crew. He had and always will respect her but he understands Sephs reasoning. 

Anything that went through Seph you knew had some thinking into. He knew he wouldn't ask of Cin to step down with out a good reason.

With that being said Charlie asked for a glass of whiskey and started a toast for Vanessa-Ives he had been with her in his times as a member of The House Of Logi. They never really talked but he respected her and he was glad she was getting a crew.

"To vennasa for the hard work you deserve it and I wish best of luck to you" says Charlie.

With the toast being said and done Charlie walks into the crowd to find some familiar faces.

I don't think anybody said we can't have opinions, Kevin. There is the old expression, "opinions are like assholes, every one has them". That doesn't mean that voicing your opinions is on the same level. There is no "freedom of speech". People say only what they are allowed to and there are certainly different *ways* to voice your opinion. I rust you are smart enough to voice your doubts without sounding like you are questioning a city head, you just choose to sound that way. It's fortunate that we live in much more flexible times, but I guess Chucky is a bit more old school than you are.

People do not only voice what they are 'allowed to'. There have been numerous cases of this throughout most era's our world has gone through. I'll say what I want and accept any consequences due to me. I'm not trying to hide the fact that I'm questioning a city head... he's not my city head so I'm not obligated to nod and agree and even if he was I'm still not sure I'd just lay down either.

Maybe your own character prevents you from doing these things, but there is freedom of speech and you can question if you like as long as you're prepared to suck it up if someone takes offence, which I assure you I am.

Yes, I'm sure chucky's lineage stretches much further back than my own...

walking through the crowd he hears the sound of raised voices, as he inhales the end of his cigarette, stubbing it out under his shiny black leather shoes he take a sip of night comfort to clear his throat.

"Well it has been a pleasure working with Cin and chatting and i further look forward to hopefully building up a relationship with Vanessa as had been done with Cin and Seph before hand"

Leaning against the wall, he sips at his flask once more

"though it is not my business til it affects me on why this decision was made i wish the best to Cin on her future, Vanessa and of course Seph.   We often make tough decisions and hard to discuss things outside our own districts or cities without bringing scrutiny from others and can understand the confusion around this but at end of the day is Seph's city to do fit with as he pleases."

looking around for his ride, he lets a little sigh

"I will watch on like many others intently for the future"

A Las Vegas Associate witnesses Kevinowens seemingly talking to thin air.  He approaches him cautiously.

"Excuse me Mr. Owens, Chucky already left.  He clearly wasn't interested in listening to your opinion."

The associate lights a cigarette and walks away.

Great to hear Las Vegas are united on this and what could have a been a pretty sticky situation has been resolved amicably by both sides. Very adult Ms Cin, its such a pleasant surprise to stumble upon maturity these days.

I was talking about you, not to you chucky. 

Maybe it's because you weren't paying attention that you didn't notice that.

Congratulations on you new position Vanessa-Ives! I am very excited for you.

There may have been some big shoes left to fill, but i have no doubt you will do amazing things for both Paradise and the great city of Las Vegas.

I've come a bit late I think and everything seems to have already been said. Having just learned the bloodlines of those concerned here I would just like to reiterate how impressed I am with the way this has been dealt by Las Vegas. 

All this does seem to take away from Ms Ives what should be a celebration. Congratulations and best of luck in Sin City. I'm sure you'll flourish!

Chucky is chased down on the streets by a Las Vegas associate.  He pulls Chucky aside and whispers something quietly.  Chucky rolls his eyes and heads back to the pub.  He confers with some others and gets an understanding of what has been talked about.  He hears of Kevinowens' speech, and writes it on a chalkboard so everyone can be clear:

It's totally upto Seph how he runs his city chucky, there's no doubt in that. 

Just like it's totally upto me whether I voice my opinion on a subject too. Don't like it? Lump it. Seph can choose to ignore or respond to my comments, that's entirely your choice also. But don't tell me I can't have an opinion, because I'll just tell you to piss off.

Chucky then takes out a pointer stick and points to the last sentence.

"You see Kevin - when using the subjective pronoun "you", it would imply you are talking to someone, not about them.  But maybe my grammar lacking and it's just me, I don't know.  Or, maybe "you" was used in a general sense and doesn't necessarily imply myself, but once again I see my name in the first sentence.  So, my investigation into your words would seem to conclude that you were addressing me, not merely talking about me.  So - maybe you weren't paying attention."

Chucky smiles and tips his hat at Kevin, walks over to the bartender and buys him a beer to hopefully clean up any lingering hard feelings and leaves the pub to continue with his day.

Butterfingers is in Vegas on a little business when she notices a large crowd gathered in and around the pub and much debate is being shared. Not one to normally venture to the tough parts of town known as The Streets she decides to take a moment.

"I respect Seph and his decision. Anyone who has been in a position he was in would understand that either decision he made would lead to criticism. I have heard people talk about birds chirping and the grapevine whispering but all this is innuendo. There are 2 people that know what exactly happened, and as far as I have heard, they both made a decision to do what was done together. Everything else is up in the air for people to interperet and twist for their own self use.

With that, I would like to say Well done to Seph and Cin and may the road ahead be less bumpy. And Congrats to Vanessa-Ives who will lead with the best of her ability."

Butterfingers then turns and continues down the street to finish up her business.
