As many know I have asked Cin to step down, there has indeed been a lot of words exchanged in the streets on why this might be happening and there have been a lot of far fetched assumptions in why I am making this call. To put things to rest, what people might assume from the outside is barely the reason this is taking place today. I don’t need to explain myself to anyone and either does Cin, Cin and the other leaders in our fine city know why this is taking place and this is why we are able to handle this so well. We don’t care what you think and we don’t care what rumors you decide to spread because you could not be more wrong in all your assumptions. This is where it will stop, because that’s what we have decided. Cin will be coming back home to The Strip with me not because she is forced to, but because she wants to. Take from it what you “think” you know but know you are probably wrong.

Now then, as I promised to Cin most members have indeed found a home. There are a handful of people that have been in a bit of a coma but given the situation will be placed under a protection order incase they wake up.

Those with tags: There protection order start date begins Aug 3^rd and will end Aug 10^th at 10:00 MR time. (I would appreciate if these people would be given a week to find a home.)

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.Nobody needs to know what happens here, If they are not from here. I'm happy that most people found a home.I hope this protection order holds up for the other people to get a home to. Even those who are not tagged gets a protection. That should tell the spectators how much we love our people.

I'm guessing you don't see the irony in saying 'we dont care what you think' at the end of a section of your speech that makes it clear you do care and the rumours have been at the very least... irritating? This would just have been about the protection order otherwise, wouldn't it?

I think you'll find you have little power to make a bold statement such as "This is where it will stop, because that's what we have decided." and follow through with it. In your city maybe the rumours will stop, you have that power Sir, but not everyone is from your city and as long as you leave everyone else out of the loop the rumours will no doubt continue to circulate. I'll still continue to investigate on a personal level as it's information and information can be as good a currency as cash in our world.

I realise you came out here to try 'slap' a few people down and stamp down your authority and I hope those who follow you take heed, but you've done nothing but make me even more curious and I'm not from your city.

It is your city and what happens under your jurisdiction is for you and you only to decide seeing as you are the Don of your city who are we to question your business and poke our noses where it does not belong contrary to other people's beliefs i say you are well within your right to make such a statement.

It is not my place to inquire about such rumors i am here only to give my support to Don Seph in relation to his stance on protecting those that were family.

It was stated that it was a peaceful step down and should be left at such throwing speculation and rumours is all that wallow around in the high school kitty games of gossip and drama if you want I for one do not see a reasonable reason for why anyone else would care so much.

Why do I care about what happens in another city? Because... I care.

Far be it for me to questions the actions of such a well known and respected Boss of one of the top New York and with all due respect you are entitled to your opinion Mr.Owens.

But it does strike me a little odd that you would question a Don publicly and inform him that you will be conducting your own investigation into his organisation.

I collect information, Wankish... I am investigating every city, every minute I am awake here. Whether that be related to (but not limited to) when people are in their slumbers or not, or just reasons as to why a relationship broke down so much that it caused an acting city head to tell an auth of theirs that to step down was the only option left.

I have been given the nod (twice, I may add), I have earned the respect of my peers enough to get all the way to the rank of Boss (again, twice) and I'm one of the largest contributors to my family even though I have been with them for a short while and try to get out and speak regularly in the streets. My bloodline has not shot any living mobster outside of a war scenario in... my diary doesn't even go that far back and has more experience of this world than 99% of others.

Anyways. I haven't heard that many people ask around as to why miss Cin stepped down, because we know it's personal business, however, Kevin is right when Shy says "It happened in Vegas, no one needs to know".

Quite a bold statement from a leader. I guess you are talking about this rare case alone? Because surely if something big happens in Vegas that somehow affects me, I'd like to know.

And Knightsbane, Kevin isn't wrong either. If he wants to listen to rumors and follow whatever, that's on him and he knows that. I think words here could have been chosen more carefully.

There seems to be arguments for both sides here. Personally, I would expect my business to remain my business, especially when it comes to the inner workings of moi famiglia. Anyone looking to expose how my operation is run, regardless of rank, wouldn't be welcomed with open arms. 

My associate, signore Knightsbane, has touched on this himself. 

There will always be conspiracy and paranoia however, in any situation. I don't care for the hearsay or rumors behind this matter, simply because it isn't my business. I received, at request of a city superior, notification of a protection order and saw it was cascaded to those I am responsible for. 

If signore Owens uncovers any truth to the hearsay and rumors, well, information is power and respect to him. Investigating is smart, however if any of my members revealed publicly that they were investigating la capo della famiglia, I wouldn't consider this a smart move, out of respect to that famiglia.

In some cases, fare la gatta morta, it is best to just smile and nod. 

I sort of get where you're coming from Sammy, but for anyone to believe that every city isn't collecting data on every other city would be incredibly naive considering the amount of mobsters we have in positions of power whose bloodline have 'been there before'.

Si, I believe you're correct, everyone more than likely is gathering information on the movements of each other. Personally, it would be out of respect that would keep me from flaunting that fact in the face of those currently in the lime light. Espionage is probably very common, however any indication of it being carried out may be treated with a heavy hand. This would be just to make it clear to the world that you were caught doing it, that your methods have failed.

So you'll appreciate that from my perspective, when I say it takes balls to say what you have said today, I mean it.

While I fully agree that people are entitled to their opinions and thoughts on the matter, I do not agree with the suggestion that Seph is hiding information.

In his previous speech he gave the reasons he asked me to step down. If you recall his reasoning was disagreements. There were tonnes of assumptions brought up. Some even calling into question my ability to run my family. So I think that this is Seph's way of replying to all assumptions and rumors at once, that they are indeed false.

It was strictly an LV matter. I am sure if it were to affect any other city he would have notified that city, but it didn't.

Rumors are useless in our world. I am sad that some people would take rumors as truth over the actual truth but I have learned this is the way of the world.

I appreciate that Seph has allowed the family that were not as active as others time to find themselves once more housed. While this is not the norm speech for a protection order I think Seph did just fine to express what he thought needed to be said in regards to everything currently going on here.

So once again, thank you Seph for watching out for my former members and giving them some time. I hope that nothing befalls them during this time.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that rumors are useless in this thing of ours because if you were to look up in the history books a good portion of violence that has broke out on these shores were all from rumors. So with that being said, and logic taken into account it would be safe to say that a good portion of deaths on these shores are also from rumors. Whether they turn out to be true, false or unknown rumors make it happen. I wish all the best to those residing in Las Vegas. 

I know how much people put into rumors but I also know that not every rumor that runs around the community is true. Most I have encountered are not. Some are, and yes some do lead to death. However, I don't think this is really a situation that should lead to a death just becasue rumors fly around.

I also know, after having being approached about some of the rumors, that they are not correct. At the least the ones I have heard about. People talk, they are always talking.
