One of the coldest days Miami has seen in years. The raindrops feel like iced pitchforks piercing the skin. The dark filled sky portrays death lurking overhead, peering down in search of his next eternal victim. As Crypler, peers through the window he thinks to himself if only he could freeze time and go back to the perfect life he had just days ago. Though, the perfect life always has a nasty habit of going bad when you are not looking.

The lightning flashes in his eyes like a point blank shot to the face. Crypler quickly comes to his senses and is startled by the abrupt banging on the door. He opens the door and standing there is a young pale shivering Antonio. The young thug's teeth were clattering as he tried to spill the news that the Feds were on their way. Aware that he has only minutes to spare Crypler, quickly approaches his safe stuffing his bag full of money, Roscoe his gun, twenty three year old Scotch, along with his bubble gum. He pauses as he approaches the door and realizes that his freedom has been snatched up from under him.

Crypler makes his way out into the cold and dark city where it is a cruel monster. Standing on corner of Main and Second Street he feels the mercury falling fast. The Feds pull up like a bat out of Hell with their crinkled suits and the bolo ties. Crypler knew if he were to stay there would be Hell to pay. He watches as the Fed ransack his apartment looking for something that they will never find. Peering down from the balcony agent Scully sees Crypler on the street. Crypler, smoking a cigarette looks up, smirks and fades off into the night.

Knowing that he has nothing left in Miami, Crypler goes back to his roots... New York.
