What to do? Started by: MidgetSolley on Aug 18, '09 06:11

Today started like any other day. A few waves and hello's on my way to work. I stopped by and grabbed a news paper as I do each day. I was a loyal watcher of the Obits. I start each day looking to see which friend/enemy had fallen the previous night.

I would make my way to say my last words to the fallen soldier of the family. Then I'd visit fallen friends and lastly the few graves of people I may have met and admired.

After my visit this morning I sat on the stoop outside HQ as I had a weird feeling about my visit that morning to the grave site. One of my past friends had gotten into a bit of a bad situation and was put to rest by his family. I've always been loyal to friends and family, family first and foremost. Now I had to decide, Do I post my best wishes to him on his passing or do I leave and quietly mourn his loss?

That is the question I bring to you this morning. What do you do in this situation?

A smartly dressed young man takes to the center and begins to talk.

I think it all depends on the situation. If the two families are at peace, quietly respecting each other then surely just passing on your wishes could do no harm. Sure you are mourning the death of a rival mobster but you are keeping the peace and you are merely showing respect and respect is what this business is all about.

Of course, if the situation is different, mourning a rival mobsters death is not the best idea so mourn quietly on your own and keep your mouth shut. Well thats just my opinion, how about everyone else?
