Sitting on a box slightly askew, his black felt trilby dipped covering his forehead and part of his eyes. A cigar sits in the mouth of the weathered face as flicks of his green eyes look at those standing in the street. Rubbing his stubbly chin he looks out at the others round him before stubbing out his cigar on the slight damp pallet beside him, he pulled a small flask from out of his pocket to drink from to clear his throat.

"Every day I look into the obits in the newspaper, or see a front page article on one of the family dead or groups of associates littering the mortuaries. I wander through the streets and then see associates and family members squabbling like school children."

Pauses for a breath and another sip from his flask

"I guess what I am saying is, is our quest for profit going to be our downfall. It doesn't matter how we screen recruitment or attempt to develop members sometimes many go into comas, break the rules or cities. So should be continue to take the chance, for the mark against our name when our associates and members screw up"

"When is not other families noticing the problems, is the g-men on the corners looking for any info on us to put us behind bars so maybe if we closed the doors and kept we could protect ourselves as an organisation more."
Sighing slightly, he looks around

"What do you think?"

I think we should always keep our doors open because for those 10 who break rules and slip into coma's we may have one who will end up the next Godfather and do something great for the community. And for that, I think it is worth it.

Our line of buisness is not like the hollywood one where any attention is good attention, so doing any possible effort not to get people of the wrong character inside is offcourse vital. But on the other hand if the organisation is gonna prosper and continiue to be a factor in the world of crime new blood is needed.
