What do you guys think about Farve maybe signing with the Vikings? I think that it is stupid for Minnesota to sign him a 2 year 10-12 million dollar contract. He's 39 now and he hasn't been playing worth a crap the last couple seasons. Why waste the money on a washed out quarterback?

I don't see how you can say he hasn't been playing worth a crap the last couple of years. Sure, he wasn't as good as his MVP years, but he was far better than the average NFL QB. Two years ago, he took a Green Bay team with little talent to the NFC title game, and last season he took a Jets team that was pathetic the year before and brought them to the playoffs.

In any case, he is a good addition to the Vikings. Favre knows the offense very well and is vastly superior to either Sage Rosenfels or Tavaris Jackson.

He has had a long week of practice with the Vikings and will play much better against the Texans and maybe the Vikings will win their first Superbowl ever this year

Pretty_Boy, are you ignoring the fact that he not only has the top touchdowns in the NFL, but also the most interceptions thrown? He is basically a sporadic passer that really doesn't pay much attention to what he's doing. He also did fine until he injured himself but kept on playing and pretty much fucked NYJ out of the playoffs.

All in all, he is a great Football player... but way to past his prime. He will still most likely make it to the playoffs, if only for the fact that he has Adrian Peterson as his running back.

Farve will do what Farve wants to do. If he wants to go deep, its going deep, regardless of the coverage. Sage is a much better QB for this team.
