Seph sat on a bench under a street light smoking a cigar and sipping on his flask, he was pondering again about the future of Paradise in his city. He had such high hopes for Vanessa and new she was ready to give her all as well, unfortunately when duty calls in a world away from this one, there is not much that can be done but adapt to the changes that need to be made. He could not help to think to himself how this looks to the outside world but it was something he would have to swallow and deal with regardless. Getting himself up off the bench he made his way back over to the pub where Vanessa’s speech was given the first time, people seemed to enjoy themselves here. As I walked into the pub I noticed Vanessa sitting over at the bar, she was having a drink herself. Pulling up a stool next to her he asked the bartender for a couple shots of whiskey… Placing one in front of Vanessa and one in front of Seph, they clanked the glasses together and down the hatch the whiskey went. It was at that moment Vanessa handed over the keys to the Head Quarters… With a pat on the back, they both knew this was the right thing to do… Well Ladies and Gents, I know we were only here a short time ago, and im not exactly pleased to be back for a similar reason. I don’t have much to say other then the obvious, sometimes things just don’t work out, and we are indeed in a rough patch. We will see our way through it I have no doubts about that, just hate that it is so soon. Vanessa will be stepping down once the members have found a home. As for the future of Paradise right now I am not going to comment on, I will be sitting down today to weigh out some options and take a good look at the assets we have here. Thank you for your time. |

Honestly this is a pretty big embarrassment for Las Vegas. I'm not sure whether it's bad luck or just poor leadership that you cannot have an underboss actually work out to your standards. One wonders if you made a mistake in the first place making Cin step down? Hey, however you guys want to piss away your money buying HQ's shouldn't be my problem though I guess. |

First off, you have no idea what the fuck your talking about. My friendship with Seph goes back many generations and i can tell you that he is a very capable leader and a very good one at that. Second, what happens in vegas stays in vegas. Seph did not have to come out here and tell you didly squat. He could have left you wondering what is going on and just dealt with it in private between the rest of the Upper Structure. But he decided to come out here and tell the masses.
Keep your disrespectful comments to yourself. A wise woman once told me that if you have nothing nice to say, dont say it at all. |

Sorry, what happens anywhere stays nowhere. If you're naive enough to think that people in other cities don't monitor every city closely than you're an idiot. You can come out and act all big and scary but the fact of the matter is Seph has failed twice in a row setting up Crewleaders. If I were any city I'd sure be worried about having any alliances at all with Vegas when they cannot even keep their own house in order. |

The sad thing is this is the same strategy you took last time when someone called you out. Mr Owens stated the facts very clearly last time and you stuck your fingers in your ears like a toddler. You should make a game show out of this! When your next leader steps down the person who got second can take their place! |

~~Heretoread I would like to point out that I agree with you "Every city monitors every city".....You like us though do not know what has been going on in the cities we watch. You are not privy to the inner talks or plans that Seph has. So I would believe, it would be in your best interest to "Just Watch" not talk. You and the rest of us would be better off without your dribble on the streets. |

That is true Altair, he didn't necessarily have to tell everyone about Vanessa stepping down (although I think that's kinda expected, almost demanded really), but he did, and thus he opened Pandora's box when it comes to criticism, hating and just plain bashing. I don't condone that kind of behavior, but hey, it happens when you decide to go to the streets. Sad to hear about Vanessa stepping down so soon, I hope LV will find it's way to greater stability soon. |

Not really the case, but if thats what you want to think then by all means think what you want. Im not doing to sit here like high school Drama queen and argue with something they know nothing about. I tried my very best with Cin, I did. I know people dont believe it, but its the truth. I dont want to sit here and play the he says, she says bullshit. I wanted to give Vanessa a chance because that was her next auth, I didnt see it fair for her to loose an opportunity because of what me and Cin had going on. |

Honestly it just seems like you're passing the buck.
This sounds like a cop out to me. I've said my peace though. I along with the rest of the world will sit back and watch the comedy of errors that is LV. Hey, we've got to get our entertainment somewhere right? |

Poor Cin retired. I'll miss her skipping about these streets. Tough times in Sin City. |

What I'm struggling to understand... is why people are getting behind Cin without knowledge as to the disagreements that were going on behind the scenes? A person from a bloodline filled with going rogue, retiring, and being generally unable to work with anyone else as a CL when her ancestors didn't get everything to go exactly how they wanted it to is being heralded as a victim by a few rather loud and noticeable people... rather than people pointing out she's generally doing what her bloodline always does. I'd assume it's just a vocal minority but the usual flood of responses seems to be lacking. Can I just get an explanation as to why people feel the need to side with Cin's side of things given the large difference in previous success and work relations between her bloodline and Seph's rather than the usual 'she was working really hard' without any specific details nonsense? I assume there is little truly rational reason but it's honestly rather fascinating to me either way. |

It is always unfortunate when young talent must step down for unbeknownst reasons. Given the recent history in Las Vegas, Don Seph and his city deserve some rest and security for a while. There is nothing fun about having someone step down as a leader in your fair city. Tough choices have to be made every day and I still believe Seph and Co. are up to the challenge. I wish you the best of luck Don Seph. I am sure you will pull it back up by the boot straps in no time. It is also sad that some believe that they can come to the streets questioning an acting Godfather like they have better solutions. |

I'm impressed Cin survived as long as she did, quite the achievement for her bloodline indeed. Everyone remembers what happened last time her bloodline had a district, perhaps CerseiLannister might have survived that take down.. |

Charlie walks in and listens to what Seph has to say. Some things don't work out and that's just that. We gotta keep moving. Eventually something will work and then we will be okay. Best of luck to you Vennessa |

| Well seph three times the charm right? Vegas will flourish under you, though maybe it is Cin's other hand that should get the chance to cement a foundation where their peers formally failed. None the less, best of luck to you and Vegas. | |

It's easy to shout your mouth off when you have nothing to live for. I hate those pissants. Rusty observes the corpse of a man with his brains blew out and shakes his head disapprovingly. Things don't always go to plan but I'm positive Seph had the best interests of Vegas at heart, however the future isn't always certain and we can't always predict what may happen. People are quick to judge when they don't have all the information at hand, I do feel however that the less said about Cin the better. It seems that it is becoming a touchy subject for many and probably a topic best left in the past. |

Chucky comes in and sits beside his boss on the bench. He takes a sip from a flask of his own before tapping his cigarette package on his knee and pulling out a cigarette and lighting up.
"You know Boss, you can never predict what will happen in this life of ours. Things are gonna happen and people are gonna leave. I wish Vanessa the best of luck in the future. But, we gotta keep moving forward."
Chucky looks out at the crowd and also the loudmouth who recently blew their brains out.
"Too bad they weren't just here to listen, or read, or whatever their narrow mind was capable of. They couldn't stand the heat, they got the fuck out. Not much more you can say about that."
Chucky smiles at Seph as he steps over the corpse and continues on with his day. |

ChuckyKnuckles, I am just curious which loudmouth that blew their brains out are you referring to? If the person you are referring to is known as Cin, I didn't see her have a loudmouth in the Streets by any means, I saw her agree with Seph's decisions, accept them and move on and stay in Las Vegas when she was given the opportunity to move, her people the majority of them stayed in Las Vegas for her too. You insulting the dead is rather pathetic and a classless act. |
