The_Hitcher entered the streets followed closely by not only his personal protection team but also the other leaders of Detroit. “As I am sure you are all aware by now the leaders of Old City District Philadelphia, CerseiLannister and SeppBlatter, were removed last night. This decision was not made lightly and with all wars and removals there were pros and cons to this move. While we can stand here today and say this move was for the better of our society others will disagree. The truth is that there have been several small issues with Philadelphia over the past month or so which escalated when rumours started surfacing. The origins of these rumours coming from Themistocles. Not only was he pushing for CerseiLannister to attack Chicago but he was also spreading rumours that one of our Right Hands was attempting to gather support from within Detroit to attack Chicago. He allowed his own personal vendetta to be the final straw that broke Philadelphia’s back. You are all probably asking yourselves how one little Wise Guy could bring an entire district to its knees, understandably so. Themistocles was also meant to be the new Philadelphia auths Right Hand, so while he may not have had his button yet he was clearly in a position to be heard". The_Hitcher looks around at the faces before him before continuing "I think when a Crewleader starts putting their own personal feelings ahead of what’s right for their members it’s a sad day, we sadly witnessed this from a Philadelphia leader. We are not pointing fingers or in fact wishing to get involved in their personal business, they had their reasons for why they did what they did. Just like we have ours." The Hitcher continues “So with the help of some of our friends, that is what happened last night” |

| Sad. Not as sad as the Vegas nonsense, but sad none the less. So many lives wasted, a beautiful city laid to waste. Hope everyone is happy now. | |

Why does every takedown have to have some shoddy reasoning?
A wise guy who was in no position to do anything was saying things. So instead of going to the City leader you shoot them.
Stand up for what it really was. You needed to let some hitters blow off some steam and Cersei was super IA. No one is going to argue with that. Don't come out and pretend like you needed help either. OCD was the weakest city in the place and caused zero threat.
I get why you did it, just stand by it for Christ's sakes. |

Deadshot is on the streets when he see's The_Hitcher making a speech, so he makes his way over and stand and listens to what he has to say. When he finishes Deadshot makes his voice heard. "Thank you for coming to here and explaining the reasons for last night, I know you didn't have to. Also I was a former member of Philly and I can say I am grateful that you only took actions against the districts that were at fault and not the full city." Deadshot takes a step back and stands with rest of the crowd. |

Well hot damn Deadshot, It's a good thing you were able to make it out of there with your 7 day old head on your shoulders. Would have lost a massive amount of work. |

What was the point of killing the entire family? if u had issues with OCD PH leaders, then why not just remove them and then let the remainders rejoin the remaining families left in PH, you people are totally destroying this game now, no crews are being allowed to grow anymore. You dont realise that with every time you take out several families or citys more and more people are leaving the mafia world cause its not enjoyable anymore. If people dont stop acting like idiots or getting to power hungry, before long this world will die out. So if you want this mafia world to end then carry on wiping out families and cities for stupid reasons. If you want it grow and get more popular u need to look at what your doing and try to help the game grow more. So for now I wont be online much because i think taking out everyone from 2 families was going way too far and its just not enjoyable for me at the moment. |

Paige listens intently to The_Hitcher's words. Her mother had died the evening before, and although Paige wasn't overly surprised, knowing her mothers line of work, she'd intended to listen to the reasoning before putting her own head down and getting to work. However, when The_Hitcher had explained the reasoning, Paige's eyebrows shot up so highly that they almost disappeared into her hair. She sat, listening to the first comments made in response to the sheet, considering whether or not she should throw in her own two cents, before her nature got the better of her and she stepped forward to speak. Tossing her long black hair over her shoulder and pulling her leather jacket across her a little more closely, she began. "My mother died last night, and although I am saddened, particularly at the loss of life for those around her, I did not intend to speak her today. Let me state loudly and clearly: I am not here to cry or to mourn the death of my mother. She lived a life that she never really had the time to live and that life was fuller than the one she had intended to live when she first put her name on these shores. Even as her daughter, I can agree that there was some legitimate reasoning for removing my mother - her face wasn't one that was seen here nearly often enough, and I will hold my hands up and admit that on her behalf. However. I do feel the need, Mister Hitcher-man, to ask who this next auth in Philadelphia who was going to have Themistocles as their right hand was. Because as far as my mothers journals tell me, her next auth was to be CalamityJane, who was to take CaptainPrice for her right hand. I rather wonder whether the problem that the city of Detroit held against Philadelphia was less due to the fear of Themistocles becoming somebodies right hand rather than being a lowly wiseguy and more because of a possible breakdown in personal relations that I've heard of between Themistocles and a recently deceased member of Detroit. I mean, I know my mother wasn't around as much as she perhaps should have been, but where I come from, somebody taking auth behind the back of the district head is a rogue, not an auth, and that is the only way that Themistocles would've been taking a right hand spot in the foreseeable future according to the plans that had been made for the cities future. But hey, what is done is done, and Detroit should take credit not only for such a clean take down but also for not blindly massacring a whole city. I must respect their restraint, if not this particular reason." |

Rinoa, you're completely ignoring what world this actually is. The mafia world. Of course people are getting power hungry and they will wipe other crews for their own gain. Now, you don't need to wipe the entire family for that, but that's the choice of the victor. |

Perhaps if CerseiLannister and SeppBlatter both had the common decency to either make more time for this world or step down instead of stagnating the shit out of Old City District and South Philly you wouldn't be in the position you find yourself in Rinoa. The fault lied entirely with those two crew leaders and their selfish ways and they are the ones you should be pointing the finger at. |

babo it then goes back to the same thing, why punish the entire family if the main issues are with the leaders. |

Because it's the mafia, Rinoa. No one is truly innocent and sparing the lives of associates (non-Made) isn't mandatory, it's a courtesy that honestly gets extended far too often these days given the hitting prowess of quite a few wise guys in recent history. |

Why kill an entire city? There a very simple explanation for that. Loyalty.
If have members in your city that would prefer to live after their leader gets killed rather than die for their crew then you have horrible members that need shot anyways.
What is the point of joining a crew and claiming to be loyal to them if you want to jump ship the second they are in trouble? What kind of person would rather live when their family is being shot? A disrespectful, disguising, worthless person. A person that doesn't deserve to ever be in a crew.
You should die with your family or just not bother joining one. Loyalty 101. |

"While standing next to The_Hitcher I began to notice the passers by and watched them grumble and voice their displeasure of the actions of the evening while I was bumped into by a passer by which looked me in the eyes and said such a despicable action, is there no true honor?" So I began to speak" Sir, let's say for one sencond you were in need of direction or assistance with matters which you had no power to change and you couldn't find the person that had promised and sworn that you were a part of their world? Would you say that such a situation would be fair? Or let's say there were people that you knew or had proof of killing innocent people for sport, would you be ok with that? You see my friend, in this thing of ours senate held to a code, this code is never spoken of or revealed but learned. Shouldn't a family leader be held to that code? Of say so. So although we disagree with the view or opinions given here today, the reality is... If you break the code, you have a payment due. "RickJames adjusts his cuff links and pulls a Punch Lomdon Club cigar from his jackets inner pocket, lights it and walks away." |

Oblivion walks up to The_Hitcher and extends his hand to give him a firm handshake. Good job, old friend. You did what you thought was needed, and that's always a great thing. That things went as smoothly as it would appear, well that is just a grand bonus in my eyes. Oblivion then turns his attention to Rinoa. Rinoa. If I am not mistaken, and please feel free to correct me if I am, you were a Capo in Philadelphia. You sported the button. There are no circumstances, at all, in which you should not have died in the war. I can't speak for everyone, but in my family sporting the button is for life. It's what you sign up for. If you would want to live after a takedown, then why did you accept it? Loyalty goes a long way. Why punish the entire family you ask? Because it's a family. The leaders and the family work together. When one falls, we all fall. Perhaps you've never been taught this. For that, I am truly sorry. Oblivion tips his hat, and gives a nice wave to The_Hitcher, before returning to his normal business. |

Rinoa steps up for the last time I have no problem with dying for my family and have done it in chicago and died for my family on 3 other occasions in PH, the problem i have is that people are wiping out cities and family's for stupid and pathetic reasons when things can be settled without resorting to wiping out everyone. And i also find it funny that pretty much everyone who is supporting and saying this was good are mostly from chicago who are currently in charge of this game as u control chicago, detroit and new york. You may or may not deny it but the links are there, and now that 2 cities are pretty much gone, i wonder if u will all turn to take out Las Vegas (unless u already control that too) i wanna thank the friends ive had here and the family's ive been in and bid you all good fortune, and i hope senseless killings eventually stop.
Rinoa then raises her gun and pulls the trigger and the final words the crowd hear are 'Long Live Philadelphia' |

Charlie steps back in disbelief. "What the fuck" says Charlie to himself. That lady just killed herself. Uhmmm wow guess life is hard for some people. I mean he himself could never get to the point where he shot himself but some people only know how to deal with pain and suffering in one way. Man if only that could have been prevented. It's sad to see things like this happen but they do and well shit it happens in front of him. Charlie walks out of the crowd and gets in his car before speeding off. Man today is weird. |

Memento_Mori walks up to the body and then kicks it to make sure she's really dead, There's a bit of irony in the fact your last words were "Long Live Philadelphia" as you killed one of the few people that call Philadelphia home. Memento begins to laugh to himself, he then turns and addresses the crowd. As for your accusations of me being associated with Chicago... I couldn't care less if my views helped or hurt Chicago as I'm loosely associated through one person. If that worthless hick happens to die off I have no idea what I'd do because I'm not particularly fond of any of the CLs about right now, but if one I am fond of appeared (hell even mid-war) after Ramza bit the dirt I'd probably follow that CL even if it meant leaving/turning on Chicago. My employer is well aware of that and comically still decided to give me a button. Go figure... Oh, and death to CatBug! Memento_Mori then pulls out a paper bag from his inner coat pocket and begins searching for CatBug so he can put a paper bag over his head to preemptively prevent his horrible face from making an appearance. |

People die, cities get wiped, and families fall. It's the way of the world it always has been. When your family falls you should as well.
Now as for you saying why? why? why? Well why do most takedowns happen? Because the people pulling the triggers wanted to, there needn't be any other reasons than that. People wanted Philly dead, and they say that it happened. Don't come crying, you knew what you were signing up for when you joined a family. |
