CP Industries - No Longer Open for Business Started by: Credits on Aug 09, '15 18:40

Credits would usually task this to one of his Capos, but today it felt like a job for he should do for himself. He had briefed his men earlier on what was happening and he hoped they understood it was their interests he was protecting.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must unfortunately announce that I will be closing the doors to my headquarters in Bella Vista." He said to gathered mobsters his soldiers had pulled together. When word needed putting out, this was the best way to do it.

"In light of recent events, we have reached agreement with the other families and cashed out our interests to them. Our political connections, the papers on our payroll and our most profitable books have either been liquidated or absorbed by one of the other Dons."

Credits waited for the hubbub this news brought to die down. His life's work would now belong to someone else. It was hard to accept, but an action he felt he must proceed with.

"I believe that my most important duty as the Don of CP Industries is the security of my members. Whilst this is a business, we were a family and I won't needlessly place those under my protection in a potentially dangerous situation when I have other alternatives that would see the majority of them survive.

Accordingly, once my members have relocated and the sale on our offices have been secured, I will be disbanding my family in it's entirety and assisting Don Ramza in any way that I can."

Credits signaled to his men, whilst they were still his, that he was finished.

Towards the rear of the crowd, Sam Gato emerges and firmly claps his hands together, over and over. His face is solemn, clearly unsettled by the announcement, however accepting and understanding.

"Signore Credits, since being granted the opportunity that you bestowed upon me, I have seen the in's and out' of your efforts to improve our world. To make physical, lasting changes to how we operate on a daily basis and to challenge the dynamics of the status quo.

"You may no longer be operating, but know your efforts have had an inspiring impact on me and I will continue to question the norm. If anything, I'm living your efforts to instill change, and for that I will always be grateful, grazie."

Ramza walks out from the back of the crowd and makes his way towards Credits after his speech. He shakes hands with the man, turning his attention to those that were listening on.

"This is a sad day, not only for Philly and Bella Vista, but for the country as a whole. Personally, I was looking forward to the greatness that Bella Vista could've blossomed into. It was exciting to see something new being attempted and if anything is worthwhile from it, it's that Sammy will receive his hard earned chance thanks to you, Credits. And that's something to be very proud of."

He clears his throat, looking around to the new faces that surround him.

"But as Credits knows, I will do everything my power to embrace those who have joined with me and my organization. If there's one thing I can promise, it's that I will look over them as if they've been with me this entire time, I owe them that much. Although I can smile knowing that there's some great people coming along with this merger, there's a part of me that wanted to see Credits do something great with the ideas he had put in motion."

Ramza steps forward with another handshake and a half-hug. He puts his hands on both of Credit's shoulders and gives a nod of encouragement.

"Here is to a bright future, my friend. CP Industries and The Order become one. And may us live, survive, drink, and enjoy each others company as one. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to those you cared about, and welcome to The Order. I, for one, admire what you've done and hope that we can continue on to make The Loop even more special."

He turns head back to the people watching. Ramza picks up the 'books' and points to have them loaded into his vehicle. He then stops right before a chair and scratches his chin.

"This chair though.... I must have it. Whoever's ass sat in this was fit for a king."

Ramza picks the chair up on one shoulder and carries to the truck, a book cuffed under his other arm.

Rusty was upset but understood why this move was being made. Rusty opened his wallet and pulled out the picture he and Credits took and admired it once more, the memories they had shared would always be remembered by Rusty and despite this being his last time in the CP Industries Headquarters he was happy that they would be joining up with Ramza and his famiglia out in Chicago.

Rusty took one last selfie outside the CP Industries Headquarters, sadly most of which was blocked out by his large Afro, his hair always spiralled out of control when he washed it, the chicks digged it though especially dat ass Visas who insisted on being in the picture (Rusty folded her out though, it only ruined the photo), he hopped in the car and placed the photo in the drop down visor and followed Ramza's truck.

...CP Industries was no more and it was time to head to Chicago for a new beginning.

Deadshot is back in his old home town Philly, he is roaming the streets when he notices his old crew leader Credits taking to the streets and talking to the crowd. Deadshot walks over and joins the crowd and listens to Credits speech, after he finished Deadshot steps forward and clears his throat.

"Its a shame to see you stepping down and closing the doors of CP industries but its what you feel is best. I was only working for you for a short time and I got to say I enjoyed it there and was honour getting to know you. I wish you all the best in your new chapter and look forward to our paths crossing again Credits."

Deadshot nods to Credits with respect and takes a step back into the crowd.

A visionary that shall never be replaced, or forgotten. May your less stressful life lead to more happiness, and more time at The Peach Pit.

I can not say i know the reasoning behind this move for you but what i can say is how incredible you must be as a person to put your family before yourself. Credits, it is not every day you see such a sacrificial mark in someone in this life. I do wish to commend you and i personally welcome you to Chicago old sport.

Gatsby toasts Credits while raising his glass and smiles at those gathered.

To Credits and to sacrificial leadership everywhere. May we always continue to serve those entrusted to our care.

A damned shame.

Report Post Tip

You're right Sovereign, a damned shame.

Credits, this is a disappointing move from you although not one I can criticise you for. At least you were trying, at least after all these years your blood still cares.

I think a lot of people mistake the 'relationship' our blood shares, even some of my bloodlines closest friends believe us to have nothing but disdain for each other. After all, it's not often our lineages are 'on the same side' and we regularly debate very opposite opinions out in public, some even  believe we 'jump' one another out there.

We've spoke about this privately and came to the same conclusion that there's very little hate there at all. It's more that we both still care enough to have that debate, or to argue that point until we're blue in the face or (heaven forbid) try something different. I'm afraid we are a dying breed amongst the bloodlines who've tackled this world for the past decade or more.... and it saddens me to see someone such as yourself give this up.

I hope it's not the last time we see you 'in the driving seat', this world needs people like you much more than it realises.

CatBug meets up with Ramza in Credits HQ

"Alright boss Im here to help as you asked"

CatBug then heads into the HQ stopping next to a nice leather sofa in the main room and looks at Ramza

"Shit, getting this sofa out the door and on the truck is going to suck. We lift on 3, okay?"

As CatBug and Ramza head out the door with the sofa CatBug sees Credits standing close by

"Oh sorry man I didn't notice you standing there."

CatBug struggling to hold the couch with one hand reaches out to Credits and shakes his hand

"Welcome to the family! Im sure lots of fun times are to be had in the future!"

CatBug and Ramza then proceed on getting the sofa on the truck

"Hey Ramza, should we try fitting the dinner table on here or do we come back for it later? We should defiantly come back, I saw a couple of nice things left in there that could take a few trips"
