Wow, the amount of morons walking around blindly is quite staggering. I'll say this one more time, in the hopes that perhaps one of you actually listens before saying something stupid once again. Nobody would care if there was no protection order at all. Nobody would have cared if a protection order went up soon after the actual threats had been removed. Both would be fine, I am sure. What people are having issue with is absolute joke of a speech, and giving a protection order to ghosts.

Regardless there is still a protection on, and i do hope that those who survived and dont have tags, manage to find theirs.

Gremlin, a protection order for anyone left was given, it did not have to be instated but it was.

People always try to find something to complain about and point the finger after a war....while I don't really have anything against someone that does that, I'd hope they would at least try to find a gripe about a takedown that's actually worth making an issue of with interesting reasoning and debate behind it.

After all, that's what these streets are for.

Plain and simple though, when a protection order doesn't go up, the attackers are savages for killing everyone.

When a protection order goes up, the attackers are savages for it not being long enough, or enough people not being left, etc etc.

It's really a lose lose situation.

What do you expect? An elongated speech as to why there should be a protection order? Should Tech have mentioned some empty condolences message before issuing the protection speech? As I fear the speech as to why DT was taken out has yet to be spoken of and you are prejudging it.

I think it is pretty obvious that this isn't a typical scenario, Oblivion. When a protection order goes up usually it is immediately after the main players and potential threats have been carried out. When one is call for after 120 people (virtually everyone) from that city have already been put in the ground, I don't really know how you can be surprised people question the intent behind it.  Horses and stable doors springs to mind on this one. 

I don't have 20k to send you a tip Credits, but I would if I did.

As long as there are still people from Detroit left, that warrants a protection order. Yes, almost anyone from that city was killed, but almost is not completely. I think the lives of those still alive matter enough for there to be a protection order, no matter how short and small it may be.

Pointless? I don't think so. I've been informed there are still survivors, and they are now protected by THIS protection order. How is it pointless?

You seem to misunderstand. I am not bitter in the slightest. I congratulate those naughty CH people for a good take down and feel privileged my Pappi was in the first wave. 

Still stands to reason if someone were deemed unimportant enough to be taken out when 95% of their fellow crew members were, then they will do the same thing time and time again. No loyalty, no backbone, no fire in the bellies means no trust for their ancestors in the future

Ahh so how were you protecting your members just out of curiosity? Your members were not being targeted? You will get much more respect if you just cut the BS and come out and say 

'we took out Hitcher as we knew he was about to make GF, which would scupper our plans to run the game for the time being hence we felt the need to remove him'.

Had diddly squat to do with protection and more to do with future control. Would have done the exact same in your situation though hence not pissy about it.
