After hearing the news about recent events Wankish Knightsbane trundled down the boulevard before taking a stand on the all too familiar soap box.

Greetings, ladies and gentleman i hope you are all enjoying this fine night and the complimentary beer paid for by Mr.Gato himself now i know you are all wandering what this is about and why you are here but more importantly why i am here and what it is i am about to say.....however i am afraid that before i can continue i feel there is something i must do.

Wankish looks around hesitant before a smile crawls across his jowls he looks down towards his feet at the tiny soap box that is holding his weight, stepping down he lifts it high in the air before smashing it hard into the ground and proceeding to demolish the remains of the iconic soap box.

Now some of you may be wandering what in bloody nora that was all about and why i would go so far as to not only desecrate but outright demolish such an symbolic item of our world such as the infamous soapbox.

I'll tell you why because it is just that, it is symbolic it is ancient it is a tradition something that my ancestors and their ancestors stood upon and a great many of our predecessors worshiped religiously.

And that is why it must go.... because you see today we are very much a modern society and changing always are the times and as such we must change with them or risk becoming extinct.

Can anyone hear tell me why the dinosaurs are extinct? anyone?

Many people believe it to be because of the ice age.... some say that it was down to a gigantic asteroid hitting the earth and eradicating all life.... I disagree.

You see the thing with dinosaurs is that their brains were too small for their bodies and as such they were very slow at thinking and thus could not adapt to their new surroundings they could not survive in a new climate and thus could not evolve and died.

An entire species obsolete because they lacked the intelligence to adapt and to evolve.

Today is something very special a historical achievement something that my father and my grandfather suggested and always supported but sadly never got to see it come into effect...alas i never thought i would be blessed with the opportunity to say this but we have a free city by the name of Los Angeles a place of freedom a place where the american dream is very much real and very much alive a place where a man can work hard for a living and the sky is the limit.

Today is an iconic day because after many years not only has a city become the place of dreams but also we as a community have evolved we are starting to think outside the box and perhaps by doing so are prolonging our survival as a community.

You see we have always run things in a certain way and for the most part it has always been a success but over time things change the people of the world change and so to must we or suffer disengaging from the world that is now.

Moving forward this is a message i would like to give to the people of LA and the soon to be leaders of a revelation of a renaissance.

You are the first group to be given this wonderful opportunity and as such your actions with determine the history of our community for maybe years to come who knows you are perhaps shaping the future as we speak.

So i will say this to you, acknowledge what you have and the opportunity that you have been given because many of our ancestors died believing in this dream and took the idea with them to the grave.

This is something my father dreamed to see and for me to see it with my very own eyes is something truly astonishing and something i am proud of.

I want to wish you all the very best of luck and i look forward to seeing promising results and i just hope that you act with your heads and use this opportunity correctly and establish something everyone could be proud of because for all you know you might not get another chance.

Now i would like everyone to raise a glass and toast to the future and to the survival of our generation to the end of time itself and also to LA and it's new regime.
