Kates strolled down the streets, incredibly drunk. Some people got sloppy when they drank. Kates was one of the rare breed that seemed to get sharper and more vibrant- at least until she passed the point of no return and the wheels came off. But she was still far from that state, though her drinking had been increasing steadily since Judge_Holden's death, as she slipped her hand into a lawyer's pocket and walked away chuckling. Philadelphia was certainly a nice city this time of year- it was just the same as it used to be back when she worked here. She was far from the same, though. Back then she'd been a wild young thing in her 20's running a strip club. Now she ran her own crew... and 30 was fast approaching. She still looked damn good, she knew, but she could see the signs. A small wrinkle... just a little bit more sore after her morning 3 mile run... but she could fight it.

Grinning at her reflection in the coffeeshop window, she realized she was approaching the ruins of her old bar. Turning the corner, she was shocked to find a couple men wandering around the debris attempting to order drinks. Stunned, she tiptoed quietly back to the streets and jumped up on a soapbox.

You! Ignorant, oblivious type. Time for a quick lesson. Recently I've noticed far too often younger men and women entirely obvious to their surroundings. Guy walks into a bar or a business, doesn't listen to anything that's been happening around him and just says whatever comes to mind. Obviously, you don't need to know the complete history of a business before you go in it, but you should at least pay attention to what has been going on recently, so you have a clue and don't look like an idiot.

Some of you who've been around a while may remember my somewhat psychotic but lovely mother burning down my strip club a couple months ago after I became respectable.

And recently, I happened to be in a very compromising situation in a business with a certain beautiful lady...

So please... nobody is perfect but if you put just a couple minutes into actually listening what's been going on around you, especially in a debate, then you won't seem like a moron.
