Mikey has been having talks with his boss for days now over hiring some cheap human shields from the local pool hall. We decided, that as the bruisers are not all that bright. We would disguise me as an out of towner befire recruiting them. So...

The boss removes my Wise Guy tags and makes me look like im fresh off the streets; im afraid to say it, but make up was used to cover the war wounds and scars.

So anyway, as I proceded into the dark pool room full of bruisers and prospective human shields, I was picked out straight away as a new guy around the town.

I asked the barman if he knew of any guys that wouldnt mind earning a fast buck, and he pointed to a group of well built but dirty looking men.

So over I went and began to discuss a price for them to be my personal bodyguards. And the plan worked, they agreed a much lower starting price than they would have if I were well known around the streets.

However, I didnt manage to knock them down on the daily cost to stick with me. They simply would not budge.

In the end, I hired 5 of the goons to protect me and even to this day they don't know I scammed them out of a couple of million between them.

Lets keep it a little hush hush shall we.. or perhaps they will no longer protect me..

Interesting story, good to know the gangster ethos is still living and breathing among us!

Tips his hat to Mickey

Mikey notices that one of his goons overheard the whole conversation. Swiftly, he pulls his gun from his inside jacket pocket and points it at the hired goon.

"You tell any of the others and I will test how good a shield you are, capiche?"

With that, the goon nods.

"Atta boy!"

Mikey slips the goon a pocket full of notes to keep quiet and no blood was shed today
