Today Godfather Sidious came to the fine streets and informed everyone of his new taxation program to enter his fair city of Chicago.

Very fair indeed for me, seeing as i get in free.  On the other hand, my captains have to pay a hefty amount to visit Chicago, and as we know, Gaius does love that Chicago deep dish pizza, from Al's.

Worth it?  I can't say it is. So to help my Captains out, i am going to impliment a tax, that will only affect members of Chicago crime families.

Starting on August 31st if you are from a Chicago family, you will be taxed to enter out city.

One Person=300,000 per week

Whole Crew= 1,000,000 per week.

1st offense=500,000

2nd offense=1,000,000

3rd offense= death

Failure to make good on payment within 24 hours will warrant action.

Applauds his Godfather

The taxation of Chicago directly impacts business for families. I hope the other cities, such as Philly and New York sees the implications this will have on their own business. This will segregate the east from the west, causing for a decrease of your own business because of the lack of travel this will induce.

For the record, i have no problem with a Tax on shooting in cities, to kill the homeless, but a tax to merely fly into a city, is a bit steep for me.

Please note, I meant to only say New York. Philly is still in a state of... rebuilding.

Sounds good to me. I hope this will show that setting up taxes for something as simple as merely entering a city isn't the best approach to take. Almost as bad as trying to outlaw beer. Poor, poor beer. Never did a thing.

Gaius leans against the post and inhales deeply listening to his Godfather, daring anyone in the crowd to second guess him, when the Godfather had finished, he stood up his full height and began...

An amazing policy Godfather, well done indeed. I would hope that the other cities would join see the implications on this. If we all started taxing upon city entrance it would leave us all broke.  Taxation can be done for homeless thugs, but to tax a man merely upon entering a city is a bit much. Merely my personal opinion from a humble captain in LA.

Gaius nods to his Godfather upon leaving and goes back to his lean post for more thoughtless pondering and smoking.

After listening to GodFather Premier give a spectacular speech Remus decides to compliment him.

"Nicely written GodFather, I think this is a great idea!"

Remus then turns and looks at Gaius.

"I agree with you completely Gaius, I think other cities should follow in GodFather Premiers plans."

After further talks with the head of Chicago Godfather Sidious, i am removing the tax of chicago members coming into Los Angeles, thank you for your time.
