The Los Angelos Reporter Started by: Technical on Aug 19, '15 13:08

Technical pulled out the wooden chair and proceeded to sit down. It was a long day where he had plenty of time to think, a list of notes sitting just to the right of him at the edge of the table. He kept biting on the eraser at the end of his pencil and twindling it every so often. His pupils revealed their full size when he realized how much work he was going to have to do to maintain an accurate and detailed report on all of Los Angelos residents.

"I just don't have time for all this..."

He jumped up out of his chair startling a few bypassers.

"Hey, you. Yes, you right there! Come here for a second."

Technical pulled out a suitcase with a million dollars.

"You want this?"

He waved his hand over the suit case and opened it up. He pulled out a few bills and waved it in your face.

"All you have to do is interview a few people. There is a catch though, I need it to be more than a how is your day going bullocks type interview. I'm too busy to give my time for this."

Technical raised his eyebrow at you.

"What do you say? Every well written report $1,500,000?"

He folds his arms and leans slightly backwards.

"A report, you say? And it -has- to be well written?"

TLM cracks a smile, and begins to laugh. "And you're offering 1.5 million for this? I suppose that is a good catch, for someone who has knowledge of the streets and a decent pair of writing fingers..."

TLM looks around at the dispersing crowd. "Well, if no one else will..." He casually makes his way closer to Technical. "Who do you want to know about?"

Gatsby struts forward as well. See Gatsby was an oxford man. He would be sure to tell you that. However making money for Cerebellum would be a nice thing to do as he was quite horrible at that.

Say old sport, is this a one time gig? A competition of sorts? I Feel this is one of my better strengths so to be able to partake in an event like this has me all sorts of excited.

Technical saw two interested people asking questions, he knew this was a good sign. Questions are what make the interviews so amazing. He wanted the focus to only pertain to that of Los Angelos, anything else would of been thrown out.

"If someone dies, I'd like to know who and why. If someone opens up shop, I want to know their goals and ambitions. If there's a rumour, I want the whole world to know about it. Anyone that submits to an interview via person or letters I want it displayed or announced. If they refuse an interview, I want everyone to know they are too shy to give any thoughtful input. I don't have one specific person that interests me, they all interest me. You find the ones you can and see what they are up to. Put it all in writing, shout it out at the Grand Canyon or do a whole play about it. I don't care how you do it but make sure it's juicy!"

Technical held out his pencil.

"Are either of you my guy? Hell, you could probably work together if you really wanted. I'm not here to tell you how to do your job. But the pay would stay the same and this isn't a one time thing."

He rested his right arm against the table.

TLM arches a brow. This was the sort of thing he enjoyed. Very much.

"I see. Well, that shouldn't be too hard to do. My first choice would be the up and coming Godmother-in-training, herself. She seems to be the type of person who is more than willing to address rumors. I'll see if I can get the scoop on her goals and ambitions."

TLM nods, proud of his idea, and turns to Gatsby. "Gatsby, is it? I would enjoy collaborating with you on a few ideas. Perhaps we could talk this more over an espresso or coffee?" TLM smiles, "On me of course."

Dubliner busted through the office doors panting heavily. Sweat was rolling down his face and sticking on his beard. His chest was rising and falling rapidly with each recuperating breath that he took to provide much needed oxygen to his hurting body.

Am I too late for the job?! I wrecked my car on the way over here and may or may not be wanted for leaving the scene of an accident... I had to run all the way here.

Dub looked around the room at the three faces staring back at him.
