Now before I get started let me throw this out there first, yes I'm a goomba, yes I haven't walked these parts long enough to know the difference between my asshole to what the doo doo does in the streets. However, journals have lead me to believe that the way of life has drastically changed. Let me start here, if my speech gets me shot in my sleep then all it does is back up my entire speech all together. No way are these opinions to reflect anyone's but my own! Training fresh mobsters. What the fuck is going on? Seriously now, I'm not just blowing smoke up your ass's this is a serious problem. Dick is a fan of the blow from time to time so when it comes from Dicks head about the subject then you know I feel there is an issue whether you believe my argument has any substance or not. Just look around and maybe ask a few people some questions, their answers may surprise you. How do people not know the difference between inactive mobster to a finger in their rear? How do people not know what omertà means? How do mobsters not know how to use a gun whether a hitter or protector? How are we allowing not only people to break the silence of omertà but to publicly blast it? How are we allowing people to break standards even set by gods to use their weapon because someone talked about their momma? Why the fuck are we allowing a competition and giving access to anyone to intervene? How are we allowing this to happen may you ask? Fucking simple, by being to damn concerned about members ranks rather then their knowledge of the way of life. The experiment is only an example to be used but it affects way beyond it. Be mad all you want but it's the truth. If you don't have discipline then shit don't work. It's like handing a group of monkeys a fucking banana and expecting them to share. It's like having your wife bringing a woman home from the local speakeasy and expecting to partake in the action just to be left in the living room staring at your lamp that you sold kilos to pay for. You cannot just expect, shit doesn't work that way. This way of life will eventually be a chaotic mess. Teaching can solve it all, in the time of coffee shops and telepathic imagery there has never been a larger need for taking the time to get to know and teach your members or peers. You don't have to be a leader to step up and teach the ones you will eventually die side by side with. As far as this ordeal with L.A. It Can be fixed simply by making it an L.A. Only city and locking it down until someone rises. If we control one another and allow whatever it is that we envisioned for the city to happen unfold then it will. If we stand by and let stupid shit happen then it will. Mobsters fresh off the boat attempting for this thing that was set in place are putting a lot of time and effort into it, if it's truly suppose to be fair then let it be fair. If not then abolish the fucking thing and get the city started. That's called control and coming up with a solution. Each and everyone of us have a responsibility to keep our world from falling into insanity and demolishing the very principles every old bloodline was built upon. If not then what's the purpose? To gather more units then your mother and father could ever carry? You have got to be fucking killing me. I mean I'm only a lonely Dick with opinions on the matter. Will this get me shot or pushed away from whom I associate with? Possibly, but I felt addressing the manner, in this manner was needed. After all I have to live up to my name right? |

Sitting on a bench she half-listens to the biggest Dick she knows babble on and on and smiles to herself as she scribbles a word down on her crossword. Oh, you're done? She says looking up startled. I was just finishing up my crossword. She folds her newspaper up and places it on her lap. Well, you've hit some pretty interesting targets there sir. I'd like to argue with you about most of them, except I can't. As you know my thoughts are similar to yours. It must be that old blood running through out veins. These new kids don't know the basics. The things that were taught to our great, great, great great, great... She makes a few hand motions to indicate somehow hundreds of generations. grandparents were expected to know before they saw Wise Guy. Now we see Made and above clueless as to some of the basics. It's heartbreaking, but it is what it is. When sponsors were introduced it was done with hope that they would take some of the weight off of HelpDesk and do what we as mobsters should do. Teach those new to the world how to stay alive and make money. Sadly, they are simply seen as a means to gather youths in a HQ and put them to work blindly without an education. I know that there are some out there that will say "NOT ME MA'AM!!!", kudos to you. Congrats, you're a Sponsor with a heart. Others are sitting there going "Oh shit it's purse time!" Teach your underlings people! You can't expect them to just KNOW everything. Although, I'm sure some will come to you educated by their parents and grandparents, you should still have some form of interaction with them from time to time. She reaches into her purse and finds a finely crafted silver flask and takes a sip from it. Tea, I swear it's just tea. She wipes her lip with a linen handkerchief and continues. As for Los Angeles, I saw a future with where it was going. There were a few people that were working together in a sense. They were literally earning their way to the top, something we haven't seen in a great many years. Not since the "Great Wipe" of, oh god, I forget when. It's been that long. This was the closest thing we'd had to it as even after wars that clear the cities of all but a few there are still those few. We can't be considered idiots to actually believe there is no outside support and interference going on. No matter how many deny it, there is. Just look at the deaths that have occurred as of late. While, closing the city is one way to make it less risky to catch a bullet from a meddlesome outsider it would hurt the other cities in an economic sense. Do we really want to cut off the income of others, not to mention the Merit Badges that we all get when we achieve some pretty immense feats? She takes a sip of her "tea" and wipes her lips again, being careful not to smudge her lipstick while talking to Dick. Our world has changed. The priorities have changed. People are focused on different things now. It's the sad reality. We can try to change it, but it's come to a point is it really worth the headaches and stress? She notices her companion waving at her and tapping his watch with a fierce glare. I hate to bid you farewell sir, however, I'm being admonished for spending to much time with a Dick. It's like I'm a nun or something. Sheesh. She reaches into her pocket and hands Dick a cookie wrapped in tissue paper and pats his hand. Eat this right before bedtime and you'll be sure to sleep better than ever and the world may seem a bit brighter when you wake up. She hurries off to receive a scolding and get back to her oh so very busy scheduled visits with grannies in the park. |

Well ma'am I need some of that tea you are sipping on. I could use a good nights rest for sure. I thank you for speaking your mind for the fact that I'm sure I'll get nothing but negative feedback from some. I contemplated making this rant to save face and move on with my own disgruntled thoughts but how is that going to do any good for my own sanity? I must disagree with one concept however, I don't feel it's too late I just feel as if those with the knowledge share rather then care about their own personal agenda because not only will it benefit themselves but the very community we work in. Motivating those to do so is the issue at hand. |

Sereno had been walking the streets, taking an ear to what was being spoken about. He had men he'd speak with regularly and mostly on a daily basis that made it their job to know what the fuck was going on in his own city of Chicago and across the nation. All Sereno had to do was spend some time and offload some product or money in return for their services. He figured many had the same kind of network to keep themselves informed. Sereno got a tip a newer face from Central Chicago, a man he'd seen and heard voicing his opinion recently was speaking up again. A short stroll through the Streets and he was upon the man who called himself Dick. After listening to an arousing speech, Sereno made his way over. He stood amongst the gathering group and added his 2 cents to the discussion when he felt there was a lull to interject. I hear a passionate speech about wanting to improve the standards around the nation regarding the business we deal in. If that gets you shot or made to be an outcast then we really do have a serious problem." "As to LA, I think any outsiders who are caught sticking their nose in after these clear rules have been set should not be the only one's paying the price and meeting judgement. I personally feel anyone who runs a crew that has a person connected to such disrespect should also pay up. Maybe not in the form of like for like, but a hefty penalty of some sort should come their way that has them on high alert. There seems to be a mentality of the buck stops with the one breaking the rules." "I think we should remember that everyone's reputation is always on the line and anyone's family that has someone seen doing shit out of order should carry a large part of the responsibility. As you say, it's the lack of teaching here that's the problem. In my opinion, the only way to fix this is to remember that a families members represent the family as a whole. Maybe then those that hold the reins will be more diligent in making sure they employ the right people and really knuckle down on properly schooling them in our ways." Well said Taylor. Out of everyone's opinion yours is my favorite. Not only is it bold and brave but straight to the point. I gather your the type of mobster my speech is directed toward so I can only tell you that it's okay partner, sunny days will come. Someone won't won't piss in your cereal every morning. When those days come take full advantage of them with a smile and a how do you do sir. |

I think Taylor_Swift is easily offended. If innuendo is not your thing, and political correctness is, you might be happier leaving the mafia life and settling for something more peaceful and polite...maybe at a nunnery? |

Of course not steampunk but if someone is gone be a cock blocker ( see what I did there Taylor? ) then Dick simply brushes it off and moves on to his next conquest. I understand my means of getting my point across may not grow on everyone but the point remains the same. So I highly appreciate all opinions negative or not, and am more importantly thankful for those who have had kind words. |
