Star stepped out of her new HQ and squinted at the sunlight.  No one would guess that she was anyone important as she wore a pair of faded denim overalls, a pair of scuffed work boots, and had her hair tied up in a blue polka dotted handkerchief.  She had a smudge of paint on her cheek and a larger one on her arm.  She started scouring around for something and finally lugged out a large crate.  Standing on top of it she whistled loudly and waved her arms, beckoning all the people on the street over.  When a large enough crowd had gathered she cleared her throat and began.

"Friends, families, and complete strangers!  I am here today because my friend and former leader Deimne gave me the keys to my very own HQ last night.  I can't say enough, how truly honored I am to have been chosen out of the countless worthy men and women that could have been chosen.  I plan on making New York proud as we begin this new chapter in New York's history.  After spending much of the night painting and moving furniture, I am proud to present you with the headquarters for "The Shooting Stars!" I also had my RHM Aiden_Connor and my LHW Lana helping me.  Again, a big thank you to Deimne.  Without him, I wouldn't be the mobster I have become.  His patience, guiding, caring, and teaching have done so much for me.  Another mentor has been his RHW, Deimna.  She has been and inspiration and a good part of my cheer squad.  Every time I stopped, she would push me forward again.  To my former crew, The Flying Monkeys; I have been honored to be a part of your crew.  My family, my friends, thank you for your help, love, support, and camaraderie.  And last but never least, Thank you to my Godfather ThomasRourke.  I hope that we will truly become bright stars in the New York heavens.

Star steps off the box and wipes her brow with a lace hankie.  She smiles and hugs her friends and family before opening the doors to her HQ for a big party.

Walks tward the crowd and tip toes to see the speaking Woman Claps respectively and nods "Wiseguy Representing Ca$h MoneY Sold13r$, Congrats Starshine!!!".

Tano greets Star as she exits...I am honored to be your first star in the family. I will do my best to make you proud, congrats on this great moment!

Thank you Scipita.  That is one of my favorite stories and, though it was written for wolves, the code of the jungle bears a striking resemblance to our own.  I hope to do NY proud.
