CHILDHOOD   MYTHS                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              My childhood was filled with myths

           and things that could never be

like good luck charms and heroes

     and paper boats at sea

but as i grew up

     i put these myths away

trying to deal with the realities

     that confronted me each day

i read some books

     of learned men

and spent some time

     just pondering them

so whatever happened 

     to that boy i used to be

i guess he saild away

  on a paper boat at sea
