| You know, I moved into my house on the ranch when I was 13; I am 24 now and have seen some pretty creepy crazy shit. I've been through it all here, even fucked with the Ouija board here. Now I have some pretty creepy stories that will bring tears to your eyes. I guess I wanted to create a group where everyone shared their creepy stories, that way I don't feel like the crazy one Alone. So in saying that, I would appreciate if the first reply was an experience you had, then every reply after that will be other people's experiences including mine. | |

I don't have any massively creepy stories really. There's supposedly a ghost that resides with us in this house that other members have witnessed in different ways. In a photograph for one, and seeing a distinct 'figure' in the hallway for another. I thought I heard it knocking one night but hell that could've been anything. I've also heard creepy stories from grandparents relating to ghostly stuff, including Ouija board use. They would be better to tell them though, as I forget the details. I'm more interested to read what you have to share though, Dope. You talked up a good intro and I'm intrigued to hear/read some of your crazy creepy stories! |

I live in a small town called Alice, it's in the state of Texas. Alice is surrounded by small towns. About 17 miles away is a small town, well more of a series of old ranches. The place is called Tecolote, it's in Spanish, now we have all heard the story of La Llorona. Deep Inside one of the ranches is a river, with an old wooden bridge over it. This place is where they say she threw her kids into the river, and she supposedly walks the river at night crying, looking for her lost children. I was about 18 when a couple of friends, my brother and I decided to go out there. I don't know what it is about a gun, that makes you feel safe. Like you could actually kill a ghost if you saw one. Well we hid a sawed off 410 break barrel shotgun and a .22 handgun in the trunk and headed out there. It was about a 30 minute drive, we were in my car. We started on Hwy 44 and turned down a paved road right before San Diego TX. I drove about 15 miles down that straight away till we came to a 4 way intersection. Every way but to the right was caliche, the bridge was on the right. We continued down to the right, now it was weird, the road went into a really steep dip and then the bridge, then back uphill. Grandma had always told us that the devils hours were between 1AM-3AM. So we arrived at the bridge a little after one. Nothing happened during the first hour, it was quiet. We just shot the shit in my car, parked on the bridge with all lights off. We decided later on to get out and taunt the demon who was supposed to dwell there. So we started yelling stupid shit, like we got your babies. We made crying noises, like babies. We threw rocks into the river, we were just being loud you know. Like kids. My brother saw it first, he told us all to shut up and look on top of the hill up the road. There was a black shadow pacing back and forth under a street light. Every other minute he would stop in the middle of the road and stare at us. We all hop in the car and drive towards the figure, guns out ready to shoot. Except when we get there, there's no shadow nor is there a street light. So we go back down to the bridge and park the car on it. Shut off all the lights and the car, the street light is on again and the shadow is pacing again. I heard the second noise, the creek was filled with rocks, but it was dried up. I heard a rock skip up the river and land next to my tire. Then I heard footsteps running through the river coming towards my car. Apparently my friend had also heard it, cause that's when the shotgun went off. My brother faced the other way with our other friend and started shooting into the woods. We were scared, we figured we would drive to the figure again and see what's up. Same shit when we drove up the hill, no street lamp or person. Now we were ready to leave, I had to bust a u turn to leave though. I didn't get to see what my headlights shined on in the woods cause I looked back to reverse. But everyone else in the car was yelling for me to roll up the Windows and get the fuck outta there. That's one of many. Hope you enjoyed. |

Desert Camos This story happened at my ranch when I was in my younger days. I've never been the type to come inside after dark, my dad was heavy on military training. My younger brother and I would dress up in jungle Camo, and go out at night on what we called missions. We had high powered paintball guns, we were into it, crawling around everywhere, climbing a tree and staying hidden as cars passed in the night. One particular night, my cousin had come over, he wanted to suit up and play paintball war at 1 in the morning. My brother and I weren't gonna shy away from a challenge, we all went to our separate rooms and got dressed in our camo, we grabbed our guns and took off. My dad had got mad cause we were playing next to the house, he suggested we go play in the woods. Thinking nothing of it, we headed to the woods, my brother and I met up at one point and completely rained a hail of paintballs on my cousin, which in my later years I feel bad for now. Lol. Well me and my brother split up and I teamed up with my cousin, the grass was about waist high, so we crouched and walked through it. About 20 feet in front of us, my brother was crouching and giving us his back. He wore desert camo, my cousin and I cocked our guns and started firing. The camo takes off into the night and were hot on his tail steadily shooting. We laughed as we shot, we were having fun. Then the camo went up a tree, so we followed it, it was when I got to the top of the tree I saw the desert camo running back towards the house, so I jumped off the tree and motioned for my cousin to flank my brother while I came in through the other side. He did what he was told and I let my clip go on the desert camp. My brother jumped out of a Bush that he was hiding in behind us. You can say he fucked us up with paintballs. He was wearing green camos like us though. So the mystery stays between us three and now you, who or what were my cousin and I chasing in the woods that night. Could it have hurt us? |

| You know, when I was about 15; I was randomly taking negative pictures around my room. As a joke to myself I took a picture of the inside of my trash bin. I saw the most ugliest scariest face I will see in my life. I through the bin out and slept in the living room for the next couple of months. One thing you learn about living in a haunted house for over 15 years is that you get used to it. The noises, the shadows, the coldness. The hair rising on your neck as you try to hurry across the woods to come home. | |

Had a bout of sleep paralysis a few years back. I came to and couldn't move, could hardly breathe at all, my room was all skewed and distorted, the lighting was off and different, it looked harsh and not like it normally does (I sleep in a pitch black room with the only light coming in from the moon of it is out) I saw shadow people approaching the bed out of the corner of my eye, but I couldn't even turn my eyes to look at them. I started to panic, trying to move, to shout, to do anything I could to break free. I finally managed a horribly pitiful sounding whimper which snapped me out of it. The shadow people vanished, the room returned to normal, and all was well. I didn't sleep after that, not for two days.
For those not in the know, sleep paralysis is basically when your mind wakes up, but your body doesn't. Your body is still fully asleep, even your eyes, so the things you see are horribly distorted.

I've actually had this exact same experience. I saw a dark figure on my chest and it felt like it was holding me down. I remember telling this to some people at work and a really religious man brought me in a bible the very next day lol. A few years later I began practicing lucid dreaming and astral projection which then put another spin on the experience. |

yeah Serano, I dabble a bit in lucid dreaming as well. Good fun. I get to enjoy every single moment of the day now, excluding those foggy moments when I'm falling asleep/waking up. I'm perfectly conscious in my dreams as if I'm awake. When I can manage to take control of them, that is, doesn't happen every time. But I'm getting better at it. It's fun being god of your own little realm for an evening. |

It's a good time Stefano, that's for sure. I never got really good at it, and only got to being lucid a few times, but it's a great experience. Dope, it's still crazy creepy shit man. People that experience it aren't happy chappys. And to go one further, who says your even truly awake right now? |

My aunt's house is haunted by my deceased Uncle, The Lady in Brown, the Woodland Boy, and a ghost who had attached itself to my little cousin Dillon and it actually grows with him. Here's some stories on each spirit. Uncle Rodney - My uncle was a man who dealt in drugs, selling illegal copies of movies, and off the market weaponry. One morning, he's extremely messed up on some self medication and decides that he's going to fix the gun he just bought. The safety was messed up on it, and my uncle wanted to fix it before he sold it. I don't think I ever once seen my Uncle sober, but I don't believe he could function if he was. Anyway, the gun goes off in his hands, up through his chin and out the top of his head. His arrest record and active warrants were so outstanding that when the Ambulance arrived, they told my aunt and his oldest daughter (who was a Sophomore I believe at the time) that there was nothing they could do. As my uncle lay gasping for air, his oldest daughter and his wife, held his head and neck together so he could breathe. GHOST Rodney - Nowadays, if you're actually open minded to the supernatural and shit, if you wander out to my aunts house, you can see my uncle walking around the house. A few days ago, September 5th, I was out smoking some weed with my cousins at my aunt's house and I could smell him. I said, "Dill, dude, you using your dads cologne?" He said "No man, dad's been around the house lately." This shit occurs so often out there, that they all believe it's normal. Anyway, we smoke and get stoned. I go into the living room and I swear to God, I see him, sitting at the computer. I sit down, grab a cigarette and me and him just talk. We have a full on conversation before my aunt comes in and says, "Laci, stop talking to Rodney. They have another bowl loaded up." I said, "Alright Momma Bear (her nickname is Bear)," and went back to smoking. The Lady in Brown - Nobody knows her story or why she's there, but when my Aunt Bear takes her pit bull out to let him run around on his chain, because the neighbors shoot at him and try to poison him, The Lady in Brown shows up. Bam will run around for like 30 minutes, bark and howl, then he'll get real silent, sit still and lay on his side. He doesn't move, he just lays there and stares at one spot. The lady will walk up and down the walk way then disappear. Woodland Boy - He's actually a really bad spirit but he only runs from the woods behind her house to the front corner of the porch and that's it. We know he's bad because he actually scratched Bam, the pit bull on both of his sides and we couldn't allow Bam out for 3 weeks while it completely healed and the fur grew back. Dill's Shadow - When my little cousin Dillon was a baby and they first moved into the house they live in now, they noticed that most nights, they'd hear him cry and go to him but he'd be dead asleep. As he grew, they noticed that sometimes, his shadow moved when he didn't. When Bear actually realized what was happening, her son (Dill) was gone for the weekend and she had forgot. Anyway, she seen him walking down the hallway of their house to the bathroom and when she yelled at him to get his attention, she said that he literally just disappeared. This ghost that follows him around his house, isn't mean nor really friendly. We believe that it was a baby that had passed on in that house and clung to Dillon so it could grow and live because it never actually got to. |
