Jay the Insane vs The Bloodhound Gang -Part 2- Started by: Jaysanity on Sep 03, '15 15:41

After the events yesterday, you were up early the next morning, so eager to see what excitement awaits you today. As you sit down to your breakfast, you think back to when you dropped off the car in front of the florist shop and hailed a cab. This was the second time that a cab driver refused to accept payment from you and just sped off. You get the feeling that Jay is somehow behind it and quickly dismiss the thoughts from your mind. You finish your breakfast and wash the dishes, knowing good and well you will just put it off whenever you came home tonight, then walk out the door, waving down a cab. The cab driver looks familiar, but you can't put your finger to who it is. After dropping you off to the florist shop where Jay and Sophia live, he speeds off down the road again, ignoring another person who was attempting to wave him down. You shrug it off and head inside. Jay probably just has the guy spooked or something. You walk in and Sophia greets you with a very pleasant smile. She is holding a broom and has a handkerchief on her head.

"Good morning Mister. Jay went out early this morning, but he should be back soon."

You nod to her and take a seat in the shop while she resumes sweeping the floor. Time goes by fairly slowly and you start thinking about yesterday. Your first gun fight and your first kill. It was an odd mixture of scary and exciting that almost makes you wish you were there again. IT is clear to you that you picked the right profession, and the right man to go into business with. Just then, Jay walks into the shop with two other men. Jay is holding a manilla folder and he motions to you to follow them. You get up quickly and follow them upstairs to his living space. You all make your way to the table and couches, but only Jay takes a seat on the couch, you and the two men stand before him across the table as he opens the manilla folder.

" Since we're partners kid, I'm going to explain to you exactly what is going on. These two men are members of the Black Rose Crime Syndicate which is run by a very powerful woman named Chun-Li. Li and I go way back to when I was a kid. She recruited me to this small time gang called the Demons and we would work together on a lot of different heists and whatnot. But as you know, I killed all the members of the demons, but the reason why I could is because Li tipped me off that they were planning on offing me in the first place. In return, when her family and I were banned from NJ I paid for them to be able to travel here safely and for free. Apparently she used the money she saved to start a speakeasy and start the Black Rose Crime Syndicate with her two sons, Zwei and Boozer."

Jay slides blueprints out of the folder and looks them over, then nods to one of the men who hands him a pen. Jay begins to scribble on the blue prints.

"Apparently, She is also having trouble with the Bloodhound gang, seeing that her speakeasy is the one that is a few blocks away from theirs. Yesterday, I used those guns we stole to trade her so now she's allowing us to use  a few of her men to wage this small conquest against the bloodhound gang without it having to escalate to a full on war between the two of them. So now it won't be just us, which is perfect because tonight we are going to finish what we started."

You look down at the blueprints. At the top of the paper it says: Little C's Casino. You've never heard of this place and by the look of it, it doesn't appear to be that large. You're curious as to what anyone, especially Jay would want with a place like that.

"This isn't much of a Casino, but the Bloodhound Gang isn't as financially strong ever since the Black Rose Crime Syndicate moved in. Either way, this is where Mikey comes to play poker once or twice a week. One of Li's guys told me he'll be there tonight looking to work over some chumps. So, what we're going to do is have our guys all over the Casino, both as customers and staff members, and when he sits down and gets comfortable, we'll unload on him, his friends, and anyone that isn't one of us. This is a high priority hit and we can't afford to leave any witnesses."

You nod your head. That short hairy guy from yesterday that almost took you and Jay out, you two will get your revenge and it will be sweet. But before you can wander off into your thoughts, one of the men starts to speak.

" Mr. Jay, sir, we need to leave soon if we are to get everything set up in time."

Jay nods to him and smiles then hands the blue prints to him.

"Get it set up then David. I'll be there in thirty minutes"

The man takes the blue print and nods, he and the other man leaves. Jay then returns his attention to you.

"We are going to run an errand before we head over.”

Jay gets up and heads towards the stairs. You follow him and the two of you walk out of the store and  his car. You get inside and Jay starts it up and drives down the road.

“ Yesterday I used up the last of the ammo for my .45, which means we gotta go pick up some more”

You nod, looking out the window watching the people walking down the street. You start thinking about how one day even the common folk will know your name. Before you know it the two of you pull up behind the police station. Almost immediately your heart starts racing. Why the hell would Jay come here? Just then two police officers step out of the back door, one carrying a few small boxes. Without speaking, Jay hands one of them a few bills and takes the boxes. They exchange a nod, then Jay pulls out and heads back onto the road.

“Not every cop in Las Vegas deserves to be one. Money is the strongest weapon mankind has ever created.”

You look up at him for a moment, then looks straight ahead, your heartbeat calming down again. You knew cops were corrupt but you never thought they would ever supply the same guys that are slaying people In their town. Jay parks his car a few blocks away from the Casino.

“If they catch wind that I’m here, there’s no way in hell Mikey is sticking around. So that is why you are going to go inside and wait. Keep an eye out for him. When I come inside, you will tell me where he is and I will end his miserable life and kick off the chaos. Is that understood?”

You nod slowly as you open your door. Jay grabs you by the arm and slips a few bills into your coat pocket and hands you a Pistol, which you slide into your belt.

“Hang out by the bar and don’t draw any attention to yourself”

He releases you and you carry on down the street towards the Casino. Hands stuffed in your pockets, your nerves start rushing back. It wasn’t fully fear, you feel a strange sense of excitement as you climb up the steps. The outside of the casino doesn’t look like much, but as you open the door it was overflowing with people. People were gambling all over and there was even a small area by the bar for dancing. You make your way around to the bar and take your seat where you can almost clearly see the entrance and you start ordering drinks. You spend about a half hour drinking and chatting it up with the bartender. He seems to be a good guy and part of you wants to warn him about the massacre that is about to go down until you notice a short hairy man walk into the Casino with several men with him. You place your drink down and watch him out of the corner of your eye. He sits down at the poker table and buys in while you crack a smile. Now you just wait for Jay. You turn around and return to your conversation. However, you hear a random gunshot out of nowhere. You reach for your pistol but the Bartender grabs you and slams your head into the table. You fall to the ground and barely see him as he hops over the bar wielding a knife.

“Sorry friend, Chun-Li  just didn’t pay me enough”

He lunges at you but you hear a loud blast as the bartender is sent flying into the bar. One of the dealers holding a Shotgun steps to him and shoots him once more in the face before turning to you and helping you up. Gunshots ring out all over the casino which is blended in with screams. Disoriented, you can’t tell who is shooting at who and decide to make your way out of the casino. You rush from cover to cover trying to make your way to the front door, but when you reach it, it won’t budge. Someone definitely blocked off the entrance.  As you turn you see Jay and the two guards from earlier standing over Mikey and his men as they fire off into the crowds. You run up to join them but by the time you reach them, the firing has stopped. You try to put together what you’re seeing but part of you can’t take the sight of a bunch of innocent people slaughtered. The stress manifests itself into your stomach and soon you are vomiting all over Mikey.  A few of the guys start to chuckle and Jay quickly silences them.

“There’s one thing I didn’t mention kid.”

Jay lowers his revolver and looks at you.

“Most of these people were either Bloodhound members or associates of them. More than likely, there was barely any civilians here. But either way, they had to go. Working for me, you will sometimes flirt with the line between wrong and right but that’s just how I operate. You don’t like it, you can go back to Chicago.”

Jay steps off, heading toward the back followed by the two guys standing with him. Some guys come out from the back with cans of gasoline and start pouring it all around the casino. You follow Jay and his associates out back to his Car.

“Time to meet up with Chun-Li, Let her know one of the Gordon brothers is no longer with us.”

The two men get into the front while you and Jay sit in the back. You tap your side to be sure your pistol is still there, then you look over at Jay who is looking out the other Window. He probably didn’t need to go to you since Mikey ended up going to the table in the front. Or maybe somehow he knew the barkeep wasn’t with us anymore or something. Either way, you’re just glad it’s over.  You spend most of the car ride trying to get over the whole ordeal. You reach a very large, old, worn out warehouse on the outskirts of town. After parking outside, the four of you walk up to two men who are guarding double doors. They let you pass, and as you walk in your eyes widen. It’s like you were stepping into a shopping center or something. The entrance was extravagant with high end cars sitting for show and beautiful plants and flowers decorating the room. Clearly there was a lot of money spent on renovations here because no one would expect to see this by looking on the outside, but perhaps that was the point. This is a crime organization. You all make your way into a staircase that leads up to a door guarded by another man who halts you, but Jay steps forward and he immediately steps aside. As you walk through the door you see a Woman sitting in a chair, with a man standing beside her. She is sitting behind a desk with windows overlooking the working area where her men are working on/cleaning weapons, working on cars, organizing drugs, etc.

"Hello Li, Hello Zwei. I came to Let you know that we took care of Mikey Gordon and his friends."

You now realize that you are looking at the leader of the Black Rose Crime Syndicate, Chun-Li, and her son. You notice that her eyes are red and puffy as if she were crying. Why on earth would she be crying? Jay must have noticed it too when she slowly nodded to the news.

"Are you alright Li...?"

“Am I alright...? Am I Alright...?!? While you guys were shooting up the Casino… Some Bloodhound thugs snuck into my speakeasy and captured Boozer!”

Jay looks down for a moment but then looks up.

“Well, Boozer may not always be the best at what we do, but he’s tough. They won’t break him Li. I'll just get a few guys together and go get him back...”

She tightens a hand into a fist and slams it on the table

“He won’t break because he’s Dead!”

Jay’s face was of utter shock. I never thought I’d ever see Jay the Insane Speechless.

“Those thugs robbed him then stabbed him to death with broken wine bottles… These acts are unforgivable, but I wanted to wait until you arrived before I made the announcement.”

Jay arches his eyebrow and looks at her.

“Announcement? What announcement, Li?”

She closes her eyes for a moment then stands up and walks over to the window to the Bay.

“We are going to war”
