Michelotto walks onto the streets quietly, most likely unnoticed by the large amounts of people walking by. As soon as he sees someone go past that he considers *may* be apart of Cosa Nostra he softly touches their shoulder as to not startle them and asks: Hello there. I'm sorry to be forward here, and I may be out of my place asking this, but would you happen to be apart of Cosa Nostra? Yes? Great. Now the next question might be even more forward than my last but please hear me out first. Feel free to put me back in my place if you think that is what needs to happen. Sorry, it's my first time here. I'm fresh off the boat, here in America, "the land of opportunity". Right, so straight to the point then. Ok, so when I got off the boat from wherever it is I came from on Sunday, I was given this... Michelotto presents a small wooden box which looks perfectly handcrafted but possibly antique. He opens the box and from it he presents a beautifully presented book, with a title written in gold "The Mafia Bible". Michelotto then pulls the book out from the antique box and opens it up. As you can probably see by now, the book is empty. All the pages have been long torn out for some reason or another and I was wondering if there were other copies of this book elsewhere, possibly in your possesion? Let me explain. I got off the boat, I was handed this box, in this box i was told was "something which all members of Cosa Nostra must read" but to my surprise it was empty. Obviously it use to have something in there because I can see the place where all the pages were torn from the binding. So my next question (sorry for all the questions) would be: do you happen to have a copy of this book, or do you know where I could find a copy of this book? Even a little exerpt from this book? I mean anything at all to do with this book. Back where I came from I was a kind of "history keeper" of sorts, and I'd most like to carry on my tradition here. Michelotto puts the book back into the old antique box and puts it back into his coat. Anything at all would be gratefully appreciated. I hope I'm not out of line here. He awaits an answer from the person he pulled up. |

I have only heard of two Mafia Bibles in my time here. Not that I'm admitting to be a part of any underground crime syndicate here in the middle of the streets, but if it's just out of curiosity, I know of a bookstore close by that still sells it. Crazy Nine hand Michelotto a card with an address on it: http://mafiareturns.com/help/tutorial.php There is another version of it, supposedly more modern and even more underground, but I don't happen to remember where it can be found. But if you ask around, specially among veteran members of your family, I'm sure they'll direct you to it. |
