Tommy rushes through the main entrance of his Restaurant in a panic. He'd been so busy since taking over as Don of Black Bottom. He had overseen the opening of many grand new establishments within the city but had neglected to stop in and visit his own. Seeing the patrons staring at him with his sudden entrance, he decides to address those who had gathered. "Hello there. I hope you're all doing well. Is there anything I can do to ensure your visit to our fine city and my beloved restaurant is the best possible?" Tommy cut a smile at a familiar face before clapping his hands to instruct his waitresses on their duties. "Take extra special care of these fine folks while they visit, oh and don't worry girls, I'm back!" Tommy nodded to the patrons before venturing over to the bar and having the bartender fix his usual. Tommy breathes a sigh of relief before he slumps down to a stool and takes in all the movement within his beloved restaurant. |

Nessa dug her elbow into @EveGatos side again. "Thats him" she hissed under her breath. She watched him move and then smiled slightly. She leaned around Eve's body, nearly falling off her seat, and stuck a hand out. "Why hello there." she said to the man with a slight smile on her lips. "I don't believe we've met." she told him, "I'm Nessa." she smiled at him, "Lovely place you have here. My friend and I were just thinking about food. What would you recommend." She asked him. |

Tommy greeted the lady with a smile and shook her hand softly. "Hello my dear, a pleasure to have you at my beloved restaurant." Tommy went into thought for a moment. "My personal favorite? The chicken parmasean is...Fuggetaboudit! I also quite enjoy the ziti. Depends on what you're in the mood for I suppose?" Tommy smiles as he motions for one of the waitresses to come over to him as he stood before the ladies. |

Nessa blushed slightly and then looked back at her menu, “Considering you’re probably the person to ask about food,” she said with a smile, “I’ll go with the Chicken Parmesan.” She looked at the waiter, “Would it be too much trouble to also get a side of garlic bread with that?” she asked him with a slight smile. “Its been hours since my last meal, and I’m about to eat in a very unlady-like fashion.” She said with a laugh.
While Eve pondered the food choices Nessa turned her attention back to the owner, “I’m Nessa by the way.” She told him with a smile. “Have you been in business in Detroit long?” She asked, “Because it seems like a very popular place.” She looked around, “That's one of the reasons I stopped by, generally people flock to where the food and service is the best.” She chuckled, “Or where the owner is intimidating and they don’t want to piss him off.” She said with a wink. |

Tommy smiled at the lady as he listened to her speak before waving for the bartender and whispering into his ear. He turns his attention back to the ladies and smiles. "This place? It's been around for a bit. Started up from scratch and now, I like to think it's the most happening place in town!" Tommy looks around with a smile and combs the room with his eyes before the bartender returns with a bottle of wine and more glasses. "Thank you my good man." Tommy spoke and waved the bartender off before turning back to the ladies and offering up the wine. "You were saying, intimidating? Me?" Tommy chuckled slightly. "My dear, I'm but a business man. Whatsoever could be intimidating about a business man?" He laughed once more before offering up the bottle to pour the ladies a drink |

Argile had been burning the candle at both ends lately, The previous war had wrecked his business routine and he really needed to get back at it and clean up loose ends. Tonight though was a night for unwinding and maybe making new contacts. Seeing Ristorante della famiglia, he decided that would be a perfect spot. A nice meal, a strong drink, and some attentive young woman was just what he had on his mind.
As he entered thru the main doors, he noticed Nessa was there. Nessa was a freind he was learning to respect more and more as a Damn good business woman in her own right. "Nessa!! How great to see you here"!! Argile realized he had forgotton about adding Good freinds to the events of the night. Forgotten for the moment, was the business headlines about senate hearings on monopolies. Tonight was perfect, and that song played in his head about "you and me and the deep blue sea". |

Nessa held out her glass, “Oh, yes please!” she said with a grin, “Thankfully, I don’t have any pressing business tomorrow, so I can let loose a bit.” She looked at EveGato and frowned, “Unlike this one, who’s being a stick in the mud and not drinking.” She took a sip from her glass, “I often find many business men intimidating, you have to be in order to beat out the rest.” She said before pointing her finger at him, “But I have a hunch theres a lot more to you than meets the eye.” She told him with a slight nod of her head, “Yes, much more.”
She opened her mouth to say more when she heard her name called. It took her a second to place the voice, but she turned her body around and looked towards Argile with a smile, “You know, if you keep doing this, I’m going to start assuming you’re following me.” She said with a laugh as she pulled her coat off the chair next to her. “Come on, take a seat.” She told the man. She gestured to Eve and said, “This is Eve Gato,” in way of introduction and then gestured towards Tommy, “And this, is Mr. Angelo the non-intimidating owner of this lovely place.” She said with a laugh as she winked at TommyAngelo. “You’re in luck, we’re just putting in our orders for dinner. You’re welcome to join us?” she offered to the man. |

Argile knew that the Gods were on his side when he was invited to have dinner with 2 lovely women. Nessa was a business coleague he had tremendous respect for. It was always good to kick back with a fellow business owner you respected. Ordering another whiskey on ice, he offered to cover both Nessa and Eve's drink. Argile really didnt know Eve, he had heard of her of course and seen her around, but nver actually introduced. This was why he did this to meet a new contact for guture business. |

When Argile paid for their drinks she smiled at him and leaned over and placed a hand on his sleeve, “Why thank you, that was very nice.” She said before sitting back and picking up her drink. As the bartender brought over the man’s drink she asked, “So what brings you to Detroit? Normally I see you around New York. This is a bit far west for you, isn’t it?” she asked.
She took a sip of her drink and then smiled, “Actually, I’ve been meaning to ask you,” she said, “How did the two telegrams you sent work out?” she set the glass down and in order to include the others she explained, “Mr. Argile came into Sammy’s new courior office and requested a cryptic message to be sent to two people.” She said, “Some sort of practical joke, I assume.” She glanced back at Argile, “Hopefully you don’t get any worse from them.” She said with a chuckle. |

Argile chuckled as he remembered the courier joke and realized he had another opportunity here. "It went very well actually", which reminds me, Im trying to set up another practical joke and this one will be hillarious"!!! "Are you familliar with the candy store that only sells lollipops?? "I want I made arrangements to purchase those lollipops in bulk" "thinking about having 100,000 of them delivered to my boss's office. |

Nessa smiled and nodded her head, “I don’t know if that would go over very well.” She looked over at her other companions and asked, “If you got a delivery of lollipops in bulk, wouldn’t you think the main message being delivered is ‘sucker!’ or…?” she trailed off and then shook her head, “But then again..” she turned her attention back to Argile, “you’re the one who knows your boss better than me. Perhaps they have a sense of humor that I am unaware of.”
Nessa looked at EveGato and frowned, “Have you decided on what you want to eat yet?” she asked, “I can feel myself wasting away over here.” She took another healthy sip of her wine and realized that perhaps until she got some food in her, it might be best to slow down. She raised a hand to her cheeks and laughed, “I’ve gone all red now, haven’t I?” she asked the three seated with her. She shook her head, “Brilliant. Nothing says attractive like a face that looks like a toddler did your blush.” She put the wine back down. “Eve, please decide on something, because if I don’t get that garlic bread I am either going to get violent, or dancey. And neither of those options are ideal.” |

Argile considered what Nessa had said about sending a wrong message and realized she might have a point. Taking the hint also about ordering, he perused the menu and decided to go with the lasagna and garlic bread. Thinking about Nessa and his other dinner guests, he decided to take the plunge and offered each of them a gift box he was famous for. Each of their gif boxes were classy antique looking and had tissue paper inside and containg 1oz gold bullion nugget inside. "Consider this a gift from me and my bank in philly where ive set up a precious metals trading floor. |

Nessa reached out and took the box. She held it up to her ear and gave it a little shake. Something inside was moving around. She shook it again, her eyes narrowed in concentration while the tip of her tongue stuck out the side of her mouth. “Well thank you.” She said as she pushed it towards the top of the bar. “I’ll save it for a rainy day when I need a pick me up.” She told Argile with a smile. “Precious Metals?” she asked, intrigued. “I wasn’t aware that there was much demand for that, given the boom seems more focused on industrial demands, rather than simple luxury items.” She commented. |

Argile nodded and said "yep, that is common conception, Have gold brought to me from,,,,uh dubious sources and also silver from the Comstock loade" I get both at 45% off market value and you may be interested a Disgruntles DeBoers agent getting me pre numbered diamonds from their vast vaults. Just some of latest deals put together". Argile watched Nessa and other dinner companion for reaction. |

She furrowed her brow, “Conception?” she asked, “Surely you mean, mis-conception?” she waved the bartender over, “Sorry, while my companion EveGato is deciding on what to eat, is it possible you have something to nibble on back there?” She asked him. After a moment he brought over a bowl of mixed nuts. “Oh, thank you. You’re a life saver.” She told the man with a grin. She grabbed a small handful and popped a few in her mouth. Once she ate those she turned her attention back to Argile and nodded her head, “One thing, that I might suggest to you.” She said before poking around at the nuts in her hand to find the cashews. “Perhaps,” she looked around, “You shouldn’t really be quite so open with your underhanded business dealings?” She suggested, but not unkindly. She ate a few more nuts and then signalled the bartender again, “Sorry, I’m being a nucience, aren’t I?” she said with a laugh, “But could I please get a glass of water?” she asked him. Once it was given to her she took a long gulp and then sighed and looked at Argile, “Being an innovative thinker is one thing,” she told him, “But if you give away all of your secrets, surely others will start in on the business or worse, you get taken into the station for it.” She told him with a shrug. “Just something to think about.” |

Eve snapped out of her daydream to see that not only were their orders being taken, but the owner of the restaurant - the man which Nessa had 'heard really good things about', was here!
"Hello, Mr Angelo." Eve smiled and held out her hand in greeting. "Nessa has told me a lot about you - all good, of course." Eve paused to give Nessa a wicked grin and a wink before she continued. "It's a pleasure to meet you. This is a lovely establishment you have here."
Turning to the waitress, Eve placed her order for Emince' of Breast of Chicken Tetrazzini Au Gratin and a side of Garden Salad. She also ordered herself a side of Garlic Bread. She had dined with Nessa before and knew, that unless you wanted less fingers than you started with, don't touch her Garlic Bread.
As Eve completed her order, Nessa turned to greet yet another man who came over to join their little party. It was shaping up to being a very interesting night, Eve thought to herself.
Eve smiled at the newcomer. "Good evening Mr Argile. A pleasure to meet you. Thank you for the gift, it's lovely."
It was always nice dining with Nessa, despite the potential loss of fingers she was lovely company and Eve often met several new people as a result. The woman knew more people than Eve had had hot diners!
While Nessa and Mr Argile chatted on about various topics, Eve settled back and thought of her early morning meeting. She wondered if it were too late to cancel. It would be nice to 'accidentally' miss her flight and have a late night out instead. Her mind made up, she ordered a glass of wine and joined the fun. |

Argile smiles to himself. That was one of the things he liked most about Nessa. Others might be offended by her open advice and pointers, but not Argile. He was always glad to get advice about living this life, and besides, any advice that keeps out out of the slammer was good advice. Nessa's other friend Eve was also an interesting person he thought, and he made a mental note to look up any business's she may own around the country so that she could support them as well. A thought occured to him that having dinner with equaly profficient business owners may be rewarding, it also posed certain dangers as well and that would be something he would have to keep in mind. |

| Tommy had removed himself from the argumentative state and watched the people from across the restaurant converse and drink. Tommy went about assisting other patrons and from time to time peered over to catch the ladies eye as if to remind her of their conversing and awkward interruption | |

She sighed in relief as the waitress left, "Thank god, I thought I was going to starve to death." she told Eve with a laugh before sliding the bowl of nuts over towards her. "Although now if you're drinking..." she smiled, "I suppose I don't have to stop." she picked up her wine and took another sip. The bartender brought over a glass of wine for EveGato and Nessa raised her glass, "Cheers!" she said before tilting it back and taking a few healthy mouthfuls of the delicious adult juice. Nessa was about to ask Mr. Angelo a question when he abruptly stood up and walked off. She frowned and looked at her other companions, "Was it something I said?" She asked before shaking her head. A few moments later, the waiter appeared with a tray with three steaming meals on it and set them down in front of them. "Oh, garlic bread. Come to me, garlic bread." she muttered to herself as she picked up a piece and took a bite. "ohmygod." she managed around the mouthful of food. she finished chewing and managed to swallow before saying, "Eve, we are never leaving. I'm going to live here and eat nothing but garlic bread until I die." |
