My First Heist Started by: Spatester on Sep 08, '09 15:54

Today is the day. Today is the day that I show them what I can really do. Today is the day when all my training comes to use. Today is my first bank heist.

Jumping out of bed I went to my closet and put on a plain black suit and tie (the required uniform for the green horn). I went into my bathroom and pressed seventh tile on the wall and slide the hidden door open. In the secret room I choose two 9mm pistols and a gun strap from the plethora of weaponry at my disposal.

Finally all suited up and strapped up, I walk out of my apartment and towards the designated meeting place.

Our target was The National Bank of Detroit. It was a high security bank, 5 guards in the main lobby, 2 guarding the vault, and 25 different security cameras strategically placed around the complex. For most, this was a suicide mission. For me, it was the chance of a lifetime.

I walk into the coffee shop directly across from the bank. I quickly sit down in the booth on the far side of the room and quietly wait for the rest of the boys to stroll in. After 15 minutes of waiting and sipping on coffee (that I didn't really need because I was already wired with excitement) the boys arrived.

There were five of us in all, 2 gunmen, 1 safe cracker, and 2 money handlers. I was the safe cracker. The boys sit down at my table and order their drinks so we could go over the plan one more time.

The plan was simple. The two gunmen would enter first, quickly firing off shots into the 5 guards in the lobby so that everyone would know we mean business. Then I would enter with one 9mm in each hand as one of the gunmen would tell everyone to huddle in a corner and get down on the floor. I would then take one of the workers, at gunpoint, and make him show me where the vault was. When I arrived at the vault I would make the two guards, that are guarding the vault, put their guns down or I will blow the workers head off. When they put their guns down I would pump 2 rounds into each of them making sure they don't try anything funny. As I approach the vault I would pump one round into the workers head and start working on cracking the vault with the stethoscope that I brought from home. When I finally crack the vault I would go back to the lobby and give the signal to the two money handlers to start loading up the cash. While they are grabbing the cash I, with help from the gunmen, will start taking valuables from the people in the lobby. When the money handlers are done loading the cash into the duffle bags, we will all exit the bank and enter the unmarked car parked in an alley a block from the bank.

After the plan was reiterated, one of the money handlers handed out the gloves and masks. The gunmen stood up first and walked across the street into the bank. After I saw the guards start dropping, I stood up and walked into the bank. The chaos in the bank was quickly resolved as the gunmen rounded up all the people. I walked up to a tall skinny young man and picked him up. I pointed my gun at his head and said, "Show me where the vault is if you want to live." He started shaking and whimpering but lead the way to the vault. As I walked into the vault room with the man as my hostage, the two guards pointed their guns at me.
"Put your guns down or this man dies." I say in a cool and serious tone. But the two guards kept their guns pointed at me. This was a little un nerving but I kept my cool and said, "You better get a head shot, because if you don't I'm going to shot this man and go down shooting. Then the men in the lobby will start shooting civilians and I don't think any of us want to clean that mess up"
The two guards look at each other for a second and slowly lower their guns. In an instant I turn my gun on them and fire, taking their lives quickly and painlessly. At this point the skinny man was full on crying and I whisper in his ear, "Tell God I said hi." And I pop one round into his skull dropping him like a brick.

I walked up to the vault and pulled out my stethoscope and put it up to the cold steel. I slowly turn the lock and listen closely to the small click that would ensure my payday was fast approaching. I turned and turned the lock until at long last I heard the final click and the door swung open. I walked calmly back to the lobby and gave the hand single to the money handlers through the window. They walked into the bank and headed immediately to the direction that I told them. As they were loading up the money I started taking earrings, watches, wallets, and bracelets from the civilians in the lobby. I get about halfway through the civilians when the money handlers walk back into the lobby and say,
"We got it lets go." I stop taking the valuables from the civilians and walk out of the bank with the rest of the boys and head to the alley where the car was. We reached the car and got in. We started driving away and watched in amusement as the cops finally arrived at the bank only a couple minuets too late.

This was the first in many successful heists that were to come. But this is the one that I will always remember.

I don't know if English isn't your first language but I lost count of all the mistakes in there. Sorry. It was predictable and bland.

Conway, are you in the mafia or are you a Critic?

I probably should have taken a little more time on it but I was just too excited when I was writing it that I wanted to share it with you guys as soon as I could. Sorry it didn't match your standards Conway, but if I entertained one person for a little while then my job is done.
