Recro Sidorov was getting his usual check up at the main Detroit Hospital as normal every 6 months, unknowly Kates was in the very same hospital giving birth to her first child.
 
"What's the news Doc?"

"Mr Sidorov..."

"Doc you have known me many years since I was a young sprout, Please call me Recro"

"Sorry Sir... (with a look of Disapproval from Recro) my apologies Recro,  as normal, keep up the regular excise, cut back a little bit on that port, you will live a long life"

"Thank you  Doc,  cut back on the port?, must be joking increase it more likely"

Recro and his guards start to chuckle.

"Always a pleasure Doctor Walker, see you in 6 months"

After the good news Recro felt better but recently had been feeling like something was missing in his life, as he walks down the hospital corridor, it seems someone of importance is coming towards him.

"Ah Recro there you are I have been looking for you said The_Shrike

"Oh my good friend, What's the flowers for?, I assure Doctor Walker's new was good as usual" Recro smiles

"Always with the jokes my friend, Ghost heard Kates was in labour had given birth to her first child here today, I... well we were asked if we could deliver these flower's and congratulate her on the new born"

"Wow we better head of and give The Revivals respects to the new mother and child"

"This must be the room"

"Are you sure, it's pretty hard not to miss Violet and Rover"

"haha, well I had to state the obvious, I'm excited, they look a bit exhausted hmm"

"Violet Rover, Fancy seeing you to, shall we ask how you both are you look a bit exhausted"

"Don't ask, why don't you both go both your respects we just need a moment to catch our breath, found some water, nice seeing you both again" Responds Violet
 
"You to, we will have to get a drink sometime soon again"

"We do, don't be strangers"

The two walk through the door to see a very proud mother and child in the hospital bed together such a beautiful sight, that Recro is over whelmed by it all, yet he hides it well.

"Hello Kates hope were not interrupting your bonding time, we have come with this bouquet of flowers from the Revival and congratulations on the new born, we wish the best for you and child"

"Thank you for your time mam"

The two smile leave the mother and child to bond.

Later that day at the one of the many local Detroit bars, Recro and Shrike sat having a quiet drink.

"Recro you have been very quiet since we left the hospital, what's on your mind my friend?"

"Well I am getting older, I have no one  to have a family with, and no family in America all that's left is my two sister's and my mother who left to go back to Russia after my fathers passing, she told me to go with them, I stayed to serve our fair city as my father did, I was just a young gangster at the time."

"Ghost took me in now I have been serving him for over 2 decades, I have made it to the top, but I have children to teach the ways of our world no wife to care for each day we grow  older, my friend seeing Kates with her child really sunk in, time has come, I ask for you to come with me back to Russia, help me find a nice young Russian bride to have a family with"

"Oh and bring my mother and two sisters back, since it is quite safe here"

"You know it's a long boat ride"

"I'm being serious here!"

The Shrike laughs, "You really wanna take a boat? I'd prefer to try out one of these commerical flights that they've been setting up..You got the money to spend?"

"Oh those flights i don't know is it safe? those planes don't look like they  could handle flying that far, but i sopose it be a lot faster why am i paying for you?

"Oh I thought it was worth a try. Yeah they may be a tin can with wings, but I'd rather fly then get thrown up on by you on a boat again..You remember that? Of course you do. Do you think you'll need a bag for the plane?" The Shrike smirked

"Oh haha very funny, what ever happened to respect for your elders"

Recro turns to his guards, shakes his head

"Jezz i don't know, alright try this flying thing, might have to have a few words with your mother back home"

The two get in the waiting car outside the bar, as they decided to fly

Shrike scratches the back of his head and sighs while hearing about the woman who adopted him, he had been so tied up with work he hadn't had the time to send a letter back home...even if he did send it what would he say? Been robbing a few stores here and there? no that won't go down well with mother..

Speaking of back home, we may not wanna make it obvious we are back. Remember Vincent? How he hated us for borrowing his car and getting it trashed?  By the grin on Recro's face he knew he remembered.

Well uh..he's kinda running the streets now.. my brothers have kept in touch, and uhh...don't expect a welcome back party.

"Oh yea good times, well hes still small time, might have to finish that unfinished bussious while were over there, Johnny and Clive can help us out, there always been loyal friends, also need to pay Seshkov a vist over his oil refinery good profits to be made"

"Seshkov is still running that? Wait Seshkov is still alive? Wow. Looks like it's not gonna be much of a vacation. Ah well should cover the costs of going over there."

The Shrike raises an eyebrow, "Hmm...you're not going back for that girl are you..you know the one you met in the bar all those years ago? Cause I smell something fishy... and SubSailorSteve isn't around."

"Yea that fat prick Seshkov still hanging in not for long, my gun is ready for him vincent and nayone else who comes in our path, the streets need a clean up, plus that oil will help double family profits for the Detroit taxi service, and car yard that's coming up for construction"

"'Natalya? what's wrong with her she was a great girl in more ways then one, if happen to bumb into her who knows, what about if you see Zoia or Yulya, i cant see them being to happy"

"Uhhh...Do I have to come? You just reminded me why I left."

"Do you think they might have forgiven me by now?"

"Oh man I'm gonna have to prepare myself for a slap or two."

"Or two mate be here all day if i could remember there names, yea kinda do since the plane is rattling were about to take of are you sure this thing isn't going to fall apart?"

"I got plenty of tape even if it does" he grins.

"Come on lets get outta here."

"what are you complaining about, were only half way thru the flight you want to be sick now, hmmm bag for me?, i just get that  sassy air hostess, miss miss, my friend here needs a bag do happen to have one?"

"I didn't expect it to be this much of a rough ride. What the hell is this thing made of? its freezing!" *gurgle* "ugh, pass me that bag.."

"This trip better be worth it...cause I'm coming back by boat.."

"Well we must be getting closer Moscow, where did we put our coats? are you about done with that bag?"

"Yeah I think so" he says as he wipes his mouth.

The Shrike grabs his gear and wearily walks off the plane. "Those things will never be popular. Who wants to fly when you can enjoy the ocean."

"But remember me and boats, about time, not doing that in a hurry again, why did we came in winter?"

"You don't plan things do you?" he sighs, "Ok well I think the metal deathtrap is coming, yep here is Clive with the car. Where to first?"

"Well boys first up vodka you all know the drill a bit of catch up is in order then we shall get down to the real stuff"
