Dusty had been wandering the business district of Detroit. She wanted to determine the best spot for her clothing store. She noticed a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and what not near by. Suddenly she spotted a corner shop that was for sale by two busy streets. She smiled to herself as she went about getting in touch with the owner. This would be perfect for the Revolutionary Women's Clothing Store. It took a few days before Dusty could make a deal with the Ostreeks to purchase their building. There was lots of haggling down prices before it came into a range Dusty could reasonable afford from her savings. Once the deed was signed over to her name Dusty went about hiring a cleaning crew. Spending the next three days cleaning out the building and getting her hands on shelves to line some walls and to place in the center. Once she had the shelves she started setting about the clothing that her best friend George had gotten ready for her. He was still busy making them but now they were transferring his stuff to the back room. She wanted him to have his own work space so his place wasn't cluttered. Setting the shirts and the pants out for women in the best and most organized way she could think of. She had the shirts placed on the shelves to the left, and the pants to the right. She even took on some of the day and evening dresses she had seen. A nearby company allowed her to sell them in her store as well. This was a women's store and she intended to category to as many as she could. Once she had everything tidied up she picked up a slate and started to write out the prices on them. She didn't sell much so it wouldn't take up much room.
Happy with the prices that she had and feeling like it could be affordable for everyone with some work. She hung the slate up by the counter where she stood. Signalling for George to place the name and the open sign in the window. |

Senka gazed sadly at the shop her mother had just barely managed to get open. She and George had discussed the business and it was settled that they would continue running the place now that Dusty was gone. They wasted no time in flipping the sign. Senka was used to hard work and she was always dedicated to everything she did. In some ways she was grieved to be in the building but hopeful at the prospect of it's future. |

The cool Detroit weather this morning had Violetta snuggling into her orange sweater by designer, Elsa Schiaparelli. The light breeze was pleasant to most, but for her delicate frame it was enough to send goosebumps up and down her arms. Vi strolled at a moderate pace looking over the local shops when she spotted a clothing store. She was a typical lady who loved shopping, and shopping for clothes was always an exciting venture to Violetta. She reached for the door, and once inside the cozy shop, Vi felt the shivers fading away. After glancing around the neatly arranged sections, Violetta walked straight towards the evening dresses. Vi noticed the sign stating the prices, and thought the owner would make a pretty penny. Her favorite designers were Chanel and Schiaparelli, but she did have a few items in her closet hand crafted from less known designers as well. Violetta ran a delicate hand over the dresses on the rack, sliding each one over to look at the next. She came across a beautiful red strapless dress, and she couldn’t contain her excitement. “Oh wow. So beautiful.” Jerking her head up to look around the shop, hoping no one thought she was crazy for talking to herself, Violetta looked over the dress then pulled the hanger off the rack. She held the dress up in front of her thinking it was simply exquisite. Vi looked around for a mirror, and perhaps a changing room. |

Senka had watched the young woman walk into the store. She smiled as the woman crossed the threshold. She left her to browse for awhile before she went over to introduce herself. Senka almost felt bad since the woman looked extremely taken with the dress she was looking at. "Hello, I'm Senka. That dress is very lovely isn't it? I think it is one of my favorites that have been set up here." Senka slowly moved around the shelf and looked thoughtfully at the dresses her mother had originally picked out. They were all so lovely and she was sure they would sell given time. The shop had barely gotten itself open before her mother passed on, so it was still new even in her own hands. Senka relished the building of things and this business was no different. "If you need any help don't hesitate to ask. No rush or anything, of course, enjoy your time." She backed away and went back to the counter. She had been making sure that a receipt book was there and she had a few to be well stocked. |

Violetta was looking around the lovely shop for a mirror when a young lady welcomed her to the store. The owner she presumed, and was impressed at the selections available, and could tell by her tone that Vi wasn’t the only one interested in this dress. After offering assistance the lady walked back to the counter, so Violetta continued to glance around the shop for a mirror when another dress caught her eye. Clutching the red dress close to her, Vi headed towards the rack displaying the beautiful long sleeve velvet dress. The shade was perfect, and matched her hazel eyes. Being that Fall is already here, she tried to blend her wardrobe according to season. Removing the green dress from the rack, Violetta headed towards the counter. “Excuse me. Do you have a changing room, or perhaps a mirror?” As Violetta waited for the young lady to look up from her books, she looked at the dresses wondering about gloves, and other accessories. “Also do you have stockings, gloves, and whatnot? Or did I overlook them so far?” |

Senka looked around the place. Her mother had never planned on changing rooms but she spotted George having a decent sized mirror in his office. The door closed so that would allow the lady plenty of privacy for the mean time. Senka would need to save up and renovate a little bit to make proper changing rooms. In the meantime she was sure George wouldn't mind leaving his office for a few minutes. "We actually do not have any changing rooms. However, George has a wonderful mirror in his office and the door shuts so if you would like to try it on there. Of course, George would come out here with me during that time so you could have all the privacy you needed to try it on." Half turning so that she was out of the way of the shelf behind her she waved a hand over towards it. "We don't have many accessories but shoes are on the bottom, gloves as you can see are on the middle shelf and we have a couple of stockings a little to the side. You are more than welcome to look at them. I am mainly a main clothing type of shop but we do keep tidbits around." |

“When I saw this red dress, I knew just the shoes to go with it. Now this green velvet dress is divine. I don’t think I will have to try them on, and I sure wouldn’t want to make anyone stop their work for me to try on these dresses. Knowing me I will have found a few more dresses before I left.” She smiled softly then Violetta listened about the gloves and stockings, turning her head in the direction given. Nodding as she spotted them right away, Vi gave a polite thank you before heading to the shelves. She glanced over the different styles of gloves, wondering what color to wear with the new red sleeveless dress. Violetta was planning an art gallery wingding in Los Angeles very soon, and this dress was perfect for the party. White gloves or black was the question. She had shoes to match either color, or even her red suede Oxfords would match the dress without gloves. Vi decided to get both pairs of gloves, and decide once she was at home. Giggling softly to herself as she headed back to the counter. “Well I think I better stop with this bundle before I buy you out in one day.” Violetta smiled as she laid the two pairs of gloves on the counter, and then set the two dresses next to them. She retrieved her wallet from the Chanel handbag. Vi waited as the lady totaled up the purchase then bagged her items with care. “You have a lovely store here. I am sure I will be stopping by here often. Do you think you will be getting any coats in soon? I realize it is just now Fall time, but one can’t be too prepared.” |

Senka pulled out her receipt book as she looked over the items. Deciding that this was her first customer she would give a deal. The odds were she was always going to give a deal since she hated to see people not get deals and there was always someone willing to take but rare for people to give. Smiling over at Violetta she pushed the receipt book aside. "You can have them for $12. Those dresses will look very lovely on you ma'am. George wouldn't have been put out by any of it. He works so fast and I am sure he would have enjoyed a break." She smiled knowingly. Senka often harped on George for working too hard. Shortly after she had spoken to Violetta she turned to see Visas walk in. She turned to listen to Visas and request and looked over at George. George was nodding. "It appears like George will work on them right away and have them done up for you. Would that be okay? Do you require them delivered when they are done or will you send someone of your own to pick them up?" |

It had been over a week since Violetta was in Detroit last. She finally had some free time this afternoon to relax and enjoy the city between business meetings. The Revolutionary Women’s Clothing Store was first on her list to visit. Vi had found the most gorgeous dresses there, and was anxious to go back. The service she received was incredible, and she couldn’t believe the deal she received. Vi tried to refuse such a generous offer, but the young lady insisted. The taxi dropped her off, and she exited the taxi then shivered slightly. The cool wind made her tug the sweater more snug together. Vi entered into the shop sighing softly feeling instantly warmer within seconds. She glanced around the shop noticing the gentleman from the last visit, George she believed his name was, but she didn’t notice the lovely young lady that owned the shop. Violetta strolled to the dresses section. She didn’t need a dress for herself specifically, but if she found something lovely she wouldn’t dare pass it up. Vi was looking for a few gifts for some of her family members. She was planning the wingding affair in Los Angeles soon, and wanted to treat her amazing Don with a new glamorous evening dress. Vi knew what size dress Rita_Hayworth wore, and began looking for the perfect dress. As soon as she spotted a beautiful silver dress, with a slit on the left side up to above the knee, and the crisscross sparkly sequined straps over the bodice, Violetta pulled the dress off the rack in a flash. It screamed beautiful, gorgeous and amazing, and she knew it would be perfect for her Don. She clutched the silver dress to her side, making sure it didn’t drag the floor. Violetta continued to look for other dresses as unique as this one. Eae and Nyxie were invited to the wingding affair, and she had wanted to surprise them with dresses as well. The shop was bustling with people in and out, but Vi took her time exploring. |

tullio woke up to a bright new day. he took a shower as he always do to start the day. unfortunately for him, he couldn't find a single clean shirt, his cabinet is empty and in his apartment floor, it's littered by clothes he'd worn for the last three weeks. "dammit, i should have counted them." tullio grab a shirt and pants he worn the day before and decided that it's clean enough. he gathered all his dirty clothes and stop to think what to do next. he reach for his wallet, counted the cash and wondered "laundromat or new clothes". lazy as a pregnant cow is, tullio decided to buy new clothes.
tullio headed downtown to a street full of shops. he entered a shop without looking at its signs. and says to the attendant " i need clothes". " for your wife , sir." the attendant inquires. "no, for me". and the shops customers, all of them ladies, couldn't help but smiles and some burst out laughing. tullio, confused at the reaction, looked around the shop and notice, easily, that he is in a women's clothes store.
embarrassed, the red-face tullio headed straight to the exit, his head bowed down. |

Alison's pretty face was contorted into one of annoyance as she left the seedy establishment in the dark, unfamiliar streets of Detroit. The man who was supposed to buy the art she had stolen last week suddenly had second thoughts about the transaction, so now she's stuck in Detroit until he makes up his mind, with only her small clutch and the clothes on her back as her possessions. Getting into the car she'd rented, Alison was set to find a hotel to stay in for the night when a small corner store caught her attention-- Revolutionary Women's Clothing Store. "Stop the car, please, Roger. I'll just be a few minutes, I won't take long, just buying a dress or two for tonight." She asked the driver before getting down and entering the quaint shop. Alison was absolutely thrilled to see beautiful dresses hanging on the wall, and her feet dragged her towards them until she found herself carrying at least 10 different dresses before she decided to explore the rest of the shop. In a little over an hour, Alison was standing in front of the counter, handing the lady behind it a wad of cash. In return, Alison walked out with six heaping bags of clothes-- dresses, blouses, pants, you name it. She had enough clothes for months. As Roger opened the door for her, he smiled and clucked his tongue. "A few minutes, you said. Just going to buy clothes for tonight, you said." Roger joked. "What can I say," Alison said with a laugh, "Retail therapy is the best." |

"What's the occasion?" I asked AlisonAllport as she emerged from Seeyara's shop. I was there just to hang out, and maybe watch someone who would like to model some lingerie for me. Besides, I have clout in this place. It has been months since I last visited. I wonder if Seeyara's models were still there. I waved at AlisonAllport as her driver closed the passenger door then made my way to the shop and greeted the clerk.
"I'll be at the viewing room. Bring some wine and I would like to see the latest lingerie line Seeyara has. Seeyara told me that I need to approve it or else take it out from the display." |

It's been a wonderful afternoon so far. Seeyara's girls accommodated my request and presented the new line of lingerie. I was just curious why the usual smile and happiness were gone from the girls faces as the walked and modeled in front of me. It was as if they were hostile and mad at something I did. I called for the receptionist and asked what the fuck was wrong with models. She looked at me sternly and asked if I remembered Ashley. This brought a sweet smile to my lips. "Of course sweet Ashley! Sweet as strawberries..." my day dream was cut abruptly by a slap on my shoulder from the receptionist. "Damn! What was that for!!!!" I complained, rubbing it. "Well, Sweet Ashley got pregnant, and the boss made her leave!" The receptionist said as a matter of fact. "What the hell do I have to do with that?" I asked annoyed. "You asked her out. And against my wise advise to her, she did. And now she's unemployed, and worried about raising a kid all by herself. The boss gave her money to cover her medical expense." After hearing that, I took my coat and made my way out of the shop. "You just added the number of bastards in this world!" The receptionist shouted after me. |

Cin had been wandering around the business district. In her hand she held the building number and the business that used to be here. Since no one had come to her office to claim the building she began to hang a closed sign up. "This business is no longer to be used. The next of kin clearly did not take over. Closed." |
