| I'll see you tomorrow old sport | Started by: Zareeh on Sep 15, '15 23:09 |

Zareeh found a paper scribbled on with ink. Legible but frantic looking. Crumpled with water marks. Gatsby had wrote a final letter and Zareeh, who decided to take the mansion stumbled across it.
He set the paper down and stared at it. Gatsby actually was the final piece. He put the record on. "Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?" The song gatsby listened too daily when he logged on to his mafia life. Would these friends still visit his grave if he could do nothing for him? Would they still love him even though he wasn't shining? Time would only tell old sport. |

Looking out among the gravestones Toby pauses for a moment and reflects on a dear friend's passing. "I always did fancy you the musical type my dear friend. I hope the afterlife treats you as well as you deserve. I know our paths will cross once again. It was a pleasure as always." |

"Shockingly, people haven't really responded to your fathers heartfelt message and it truly is sad. My father use to come home at night and tell me how much love Gatsby had for others, yet it may blind him to the point where in the end, it may be more hurtful to his soul. Love is a powerful emotion, it can be healthy or it can cause ones demise. If all you have is love without being able to set it to the side when it is needed the most, it has devastating effects." "I can only hope your lineage can muster up enough willingness to return to this dark and cold world. As his speech has resembled and proven, most around here look out for themselves. They will speak when they need an ear to listen, they will care when it benefits them, and they will pretend you will be missed when you depart. Yet when your gone, not a word is said. The mafia is a lonely place, it's what we signed up for when we were enticed by the life of crime. I only hope that if his lineage does return he learns this valuable lesson so he himself isn't hurt in the future." "Gatsby was probably the most guininely caring individual my bloodline has ever come across. He didn't judge people for who they were my father said, which in turn can be harmful as well. People stuck onto him and at times took advantage of his love for others. My father was there to try to ensure he proceeded with caution to prevent him from making the wrong mistakes when it came to trust. I only hope my father helped yours as he set out to do. You will be missed by many Gatsby even if they don't take a break from their petty crimes to show it." "Rest well" |

After hearing the terrible news, the Princess took a moment to catch her breath. One of her dearest friends had passed. She had always known Gatsby to be a sweet, honest man. In fact, he was one of the most humble, friendly people she had ever met in this world. He had always been such a positive presence in her life. She had known his ancestors for quite a while, from his great grandfather down to the beloved Gatsby himself. It was a joy to her to watch him make a name for himself in this world of crime and corrupt people. The old memories had brought tears to her eyes as she brushed them away from her cheeks. A single line had come into her mind: “So we beat on, boats against the current, borne ceaselessly into the past.” She smiled, knowing that she would always remember the great Gatsby. |
