Payback's a bitch! Started by: KL on Sep 20, '15 14:20

After the incident at the hotel I sat down with Matteo and Scratchy and put my plan into effect. I had enough... Dubliner had to pay for what he did. After the two left I sat back and waited for the calls.

There were 2 men with Dubliner the night of the shooting. David and George Spiola, they were associates and friends of Dub.

Hit #1 David Spiola

8:04 pm North side Chicago, David opens the door to leave his apartment when a well dressed Matteo walks into the doorway wielding a shotgun. One shot to the chest blows David back a good 3 feet sending one of the mans shoes flying. Matteo then walks off to the nearest phone he could find.

As I pick up my office phone Matteo replies "It's done", he then hangs up immediately after. I sit back and wait for the next call.

Hit#2 George Spiola

9:52 pm West point Ave Chicago, Scratchy and his bodyguard await for George to show up at home. 2 hours of waiting and they finally here the sound of the front door being unlocked. As George makes his way inside Scratchy's bodyguard hits the man over the head stunning him. He carries him over to the Sofa opposite to the one Scratchy was sitting on. Furious with how long he had to wait Scratch grabs the bat he brought along with him and without another minute to spare he beats the man almost to death. As the man squirms on the floor Scratch pulls out his pistol and fires 2 shots killing the man instantly. He then has his bodyguard dump gasoline all over the place and walk to the front door. Scratch then sets the place a blaze before speeding off and making the call to my office.

I pick up the phone as Scratch says "He's Gone!".

With the last of the men taking care of I put in one final call to Joey...a well respected man in our family who completes the final act in this plan. His job was to pick up a women named Margaret. She was the one who took care of Dubliner as a child when he finally settled into Chicago... she was like a mother to him. After kidnapping the women he brings her to the hotel and right up to my office. As the women sits there in fear I assure her that she is going to be fine, and that as long as she did what I asked she would leave unharmed.

She just had to put out a call that would eventually reach out to Dubliner wherever he was. She called a close friend of Dub's and told him that she was being held at the hotel and wanted Dub to call the office for a little meeting... if he didn't play nice he would lose the only women who cared for him.

Looking at the women I respond "Now madam I apologize for this and I give you my word I am not doing this to harm you... me and Dub has some issues to work out and as long as he plays nice you will leave here untouched. I did not want to go to these extremes but he left me no choice."

I sit back and wait for word to reach Dub as I fix a drink and get to know Margaret as she was a really classy women.

Dub stared straight forward towards the crashing waves of the deep blue ocean before him. He watched the poofy white seafoam form from the stirring of the crashing waves then, one by one, the small bubbles would pop making the seafoam disappear. The smell of the salt in the air rushed up through his nostrils as he took a deep relaxing breath. A nice gust of window blew his hair in the air as he stood from his chair atop a seaside cliff, about 100 or so feet from sea level...

His informant came climbing up to his house after ferrying over to the island. He was struggling for breath when he finally reached Dub on the clifftop. He put his hands on he knees as he bent over panting and Dub turned to him and chuckled at the out-of-breath man. He offered him his seat and a glass of water. The young informant eventually caught his breath and told Dub about the killing of two of Dub's associates, The Spiola Boys, and the kidnapping of Margie, his old caretaker. Dub laughed.

"What, does he think he's getting back at me?" Dub chuckled to himself, "The Spiola Boys were useless. All they did was stand outside of the hotel that day and they couldn't collect protection money from a crippled, homeless man..." Dub turned back out to sea. He put his hand on his face and thought to himself.

"And Margie... That old hag kicked me out before I even had a job." Dub turned back to his informant and smiled, "I don't care what happens to her. Though, I don't know if KL has it in him to kill an innocent 70 year old woman..."

Dub motioned for his informant to leave him... As the informant began to trek down the small mountain and back to the ferry, Dub yelled out to him, "Also, don't bring me any more info from Chicago unless I ask for it specifically." Dub smiled at the man, "I'm on vacation, after all!"

He went back to his chair to admire the vast sea by his new home.

After receiving word that Dub didn't care for his former associate's nor his caretaker I sat back and thought a bit before looking at the 70 year old women "Ma'am... go home!, I know now that Dub is a coward... hiding god knows where and don't even care about the only women who kept a roof over his head. If I was a careless man like he was, you'd be dead right now but I have different moral's then he does. I guess I'm going to have to keep searching".

As she is escorted out of the office I make a call to Anton. I had realized now that Dub was no man for reasoning. He had to be found.
