Senka had just arrived outside of a large building near the Detroit's town hall. These offices were newly renovated for people only needing a small suite to conduct their businesses. Senka had just rented out a large suite on the second floor. She really didn't need as much space but she liked that it was quiet and peaceful.

Walking up the stairs Senka began watering the plants and going through her morning routine. There were loads of papers on the large circular table that she used as a desk and a meeting table. She set the door stopper in the door so that people would know she was now open for business.

Settling into the chair behind the table she began sifting through the mail. She was reading business proposals for her city as you stroll into the office. Lifting her head up she meets your gaze and smiles warmly. Motioning for you to take a seat before speaking.

Once you have taken the seat opposite of her she begins.

"Hello. My name is Senka. If you are here then clearly you are looking to open a business in Detroit. Don't worry you have come to the right place."

Shifting in her seat, she moves all the other papers out of the way and gets right down to business.

"Here in Detroit we value well thought out proposals. I want to see what building you have bought for this, what your business is and all the in between details. I want to know that you are dedicated to maintaining your business and will keep your standards high for your employees."

Pausing she checks to make sure you are following along. All you can do is nod before she continues on.

"I know this process can seem overwhelming but you can either check in with me at the office or privately send a messenger with your plans to me. I will do my best to reply as fast as possible.

If by any chance you do get turned down, do not fret. I will gladly include why and help you to reach your business goals. We want you to succeed here. We just want to be sure that you are as committed to your business as we are.

So if you are from Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, Philadelphia or Los Angeles you need to come see me before opening any businesses here. "

Taking a sheet from the top  of a pile of the papers on her right she hands it over to you.

"This here states that you will keep your business relevant to our time. You will come see me to get approval first. Not until I give the okay can you open a business up here in Detroit. Failure to do so will be noted and sent to the leaders of Detroit to handle as they see fit. Lastly, you will meet our standards and conduct yourself in our city to our standards.

If you wouldn't mind please take this with you. If you have a business proposal with you please leave it with me. If you do not, you can come back to see me at a later date.

Thank you very much for your interest in opening a business here in Detroit. Any questions I will happily take them with a private message."

Senka pushes her chair back and offers her hand to you. Once you have shaken it you decide whether or not you are leaving your business proposal with her or working on it further.

Sorrow had been given the keys to the business district managers office. She set about getting a cleaning crew to tidy it up and dust it out for her before she arrived. She wanted the place spotless so she could get right to work. There was an obvious need for her job and she didn't want to let Visas or TommyAngelo down.

Setting the keys on the desk she opened the door for business.

Cin walked down the hallway. Her hands digging in her pockets for the keys to the office for the business district manager. As she got the door open she started searching for something to tack a piece of paper onto the door. Spotting some sticky tack she placed it on the paper and walked back to the office door. She pushed the paper onto the door so that everyone could read it.

Business District Rules.

1. You must come see me to open a business first. There are no ifs, ands or buts. This is mandatory and if not followed will result in your business being closed.

2. Once your business is closed you, your friends or any other individuals are not permitted to set foot on the property. It is closed. No business, nothing there for you to visit. An empty building waiting to be sold to the next person wanting a commercial property.

Feeling better about clarifying things for individuals visiting the Detroit Business District she had hoped these rules could remain simple and followed through. She wanted nothing more than to see the business district thrive and everyone enjoying themselves in the city.

Cin begins to dust off the plants standing outside of her office doors. It had been awhile since she had any cleaning done and she was soon expecting the maid.
