All that I've figured out is that it was an easier wack function for FireFox. But apperinitely it's for IE as well. |

"so what exactly is an ajax wack? how is it different than a regular wack?" Shame on your HSL for not teaching you :) Ajax wack enables you to submit the request to wack the player, without having to reload the whole page. Every time you press the button, it sends a wack request. It enables you to do it much quicker and virtually cuts out all the repercussions of living far away from the server - so that its a level playing field for hunting IAs. |

Under the Help Menu is a Stats - Game. This shows the last month worth of stats. Now these %'s only reflect the final result - this does not necessarily apply to you. Certain traits of your character lower the chance of dying by wackback - like defense for example. The higher defense you have - the less chance of you dying from wackback. Bodyguards is another thing, if you have a bodyguard, theres a chance he may take the wackback rather than you. The % that you see on the stats page is the final number after the above have all been figured out. So it is safe to say that the number is actually much higher, however, many have escaped wackback due to having better characters. |

The 1% shots are hits which, based on stats, shouldn't hit. So when a pro shot goes wrong (a gangster with little to no kills hitting a made man), that's a 1%. A wb death is often called a 1% shot by users too, but as pointed out by Squishy.. other factors come into play. So rolling a wb death (which has odds of 1 in 100, so 1%) is then lowered to the 0.26% average (as of time of writing, it will fluctuate above and below this %age at times) is a result of the other factors (natural defence, bg's, etc etc). |

Excuse my ignorance but, I just wanted to clarify my understanding on this subject. So, please correct me if I'm wrong. Depending on your character's defense level and the number of BGs, the chances of WB varies between a minimum of 0.26% and a maximum of 1.0%. Therefore, there is always a chance that you can be the lucky winner of 1 in 100, regardless of how many WBs you have survived, BGs and character's defense level. Furthermore, in Deimne post on Sep 20, '09 08:52, it was stated that "as of time of writing, it will fluctuate above and below this %age at times". I was wondering, how much above the one percent is allowed in the algorithm. Thank you for taking the time to help me understand this matter better. :0) |

Not quite, 0.26 is only the current limit that wb death average is running at, I'm not sure what the *actual* lowest chance is. Otherwise yes, there is a chance you could wackback and die from every shot you take - just as there is a chance you will hit any given shot you take (regardless of account stats) In terms of the algorithm, as you put it, there is no 'limit'. It is technically possibly for 100 shots to be taken today and all 100 to end in wackback death, in which case the game average for the day would run at 100%. However, this is astronomically unlikely. |
