You awake in your hospital bed feeling much better. Looking around the room, you notice many of the beds are now empty. You remember the note and decide you should get up and find Chun-Li. Maybe now that you’re awake, you can help out with the war. You struggle to sit up in your bed but you grunt and hold your side. That bastard really did a number on you. The guy in the bed across from you, who has his arm on a sling and a few band-aids on his face and body , smiles at you.

“Well good to see you’re awake. Some of us thought you’d never wake up.”

He is leaning against the wall on his bed and reaches over with his good arm for a glass of water. He then looks around at the other guys that are still laying in beds.

“You may be wondering why all of us are here. Well, let’s just say that Jay wasn’t too happy when he didn’t find you at your house. Him and Mousey tracked you down using the Cab Driver they found watching some of our guys. It didn’t take long for him to crack and only after a few hours of your abduction, we already had a large group of us ready to assault the penthouse where they were keeping you. Fortunately it wasn’t that well defended as they weren’t ready nor expecting such a large scale assault there.”

He takes a sip of water then rubs the skin right above the sling and cast on his arm.

“I got this guy from that guy David breaking my arm with his bare hands when I tried to stop him from running away from Jay. As big as he is you’d think I would’ve had time to shoot him, but he’s a lot faster than you’d imagine.”

He crawls out of bed and  walks around over to your bed then extends his good hand out.

“The name is Jack, Jackie Stevens. And you are?”

You shake his hand and smile. Right as you prepare to say your name, Chun-Li walks into the room, walking right toward you. She stops short and looks over toward Jack.

“Jack? What are you doing out of bed? You’ve got to let those bullet wounds heal!”

He scratches the back of his head, wanting to respond but he holds his tongue and walks back to his bed. She then turns to you and smiles.

“Hey kid, I can’t express how grateful I am you were able to not only endure hours of torture but you also refused to release a single speck of information of the family’s to David or any of the Bloodhound members.  Danny is locked away in our basement, Mousey has been… teaching him a few lessons in respect, but David is currently at large.”

You nod and slightly frown. That bastard is still out there, and still has family left that is loyal to him. He might be able to at least do damage on a counter attack or manage to take out a few people of importance. She places a hand on your shoulder in a very comforting fashion.

“David won’t get far. He has members left under his command but it’s nothing we can’t handle. But that isn’t the only reason I’ve come down here.”

You arch your eyebrow. You doubt she’s going to kill you. You know too much, yes, but you also have proven your worth to the family. That would really

“ I’ve decided that you should be made. You’ve proven your loyalty to me and my family and with Jay saying you’re good, I’ve got all I need to convince me that you should be one of us. Welcome to the Black Rose Crime Syndicate.”

A sigh of relief comes out of you like a reflex. You thought you were about to get wacked for sure. Wait, did she just say you’ve been made? You almost immediately smile wider than you have in a long while.

“Now, Jay has made it clear you still will be working under him, but you now have a home here with us and you can always come to the HQ if you need help.”

You nod, sitting up a bit but then holding your side, wincing in pain. Damn that bastard Danny. He really did a number on you. Chun-Li smiles and steps back from your bed.

“Get some rest, tomorrow you’ll be getting back to work. Who knows when David will show his head again.”

You nod and she turns and walks out. As she leaves you notice that Jackie’s bed is now empty. He looked pretty beat up but maybe his injuries weren’t as bad as they seemed. You close your eyes and you dream. You dream of the many possibilities that will fall into your lap now that you’re made. Maybe you’ll have your own little team and go on missions like Jay does, or maybe you’ll start running a business like Zwei. The dreams are grand and peaceful, until you are awoken by a loud noise. You can’t identify it based on the fact that you were asleep, but it definitely can’t be good. You get out of bed and slowly make your way to the door. Your injuries aren’t good, but you must have been out for a while because you do feel better. You make your way to the entrance, but as you get closer, you hear shouting. It seems to be coming from the main bay. You could probably get a good view of whatever it is from Li’s office. You open the door and make your way up the steps and open the door to her office.

“Well look who decided to wake up”

Danny  says, holding a revolver up at Li from behind. Zwei having one pistol aimed at Danny and one at Jackie who is aiming a pistol at Zwei. Danny is covered in dry blood and dirt and looks as if he hasn’t eaten since he was captured. Jackie is still in his bandages but he isn’t wearing the cast, which you assume means he faked having a broken arm. You’re caught completely off guard. Chun-Li still remains calm, somehow, through all of this.

“Jackie, how could you betray the family like this?”

Jackie smiles leaning back against the desk while maintaining his aim at Zwei.

“Well, Betrayal implies I was ever really loyal to you in the first place. As soon as you told me, well him, where Danny was, everything just seemed to just fall into place. And now Danny is free, I’m on his good side, and the Black Rose Crime Syndicate will crumble tonight!”

Your heart starts to race. You look over out the window and see why the shouting was going on. It’s complete chaos down there. A hand full of mutineers has apparently been on Jack’s side and is currently fighting it out against the other members who are in the HQ. Danny smirks.

“And the best part about it, is now we know where your HQ is. Once we hook up with David at our Estate out of town, we’ll have the rest of our Army raining hell on this place!”

Chun-Li just smiles.

“Who said anything about you guys escaping? But, thank you for the information. Now we  know exactly where to go to finish you lot off.”

Danny’s face gets serious for a moment.

“Oh? It seems to me like we have the upper hand here. We out number you down there, and we out gun you up here! You have no Cha-“

Suddenly a door you just realized was there across the room flies open and a shot is fired right in the arm of Danny who immediately drops his gun, Chun then spins and kicks him in the face. Zwei then ducks and dives into Jackie who gets a shot off into the wall. Zwei easily gets him pinned down with a barrel shoved into the back of his head

“You move and you die. You breathe too hard and you die. You even think about doing anything besides being my bitch right now, and you die.”

Danny looks up in horror as a figure moves out of the room.

“Oh sorry, am I late?”

The figure turns out to be Jay

“Who let the rat out of his cage? Well we can’t be having that now, can we Li?”

Chun-Li looks down at Danny who is almost at a whimper.

“D-Don’t put me back in the b-basement with that f-f-freak!..”

She looks at him for awhile then looks up at Jay and nods. Without hesitating Jay grabs a rope from the closet that he jumped out of and wraps it around Danny’s neck tightly. He then grabs Danny and tosses him through the window, causing the fighting to come to an immediate hault. He lands badly on his feet and appears to have broken a leg. Jay then pulls him up by the rope to hang him. Li then walks over to the hole in the glass.

“This, This is what happens when you mess with the Black Rose Crime Syndicate.  We are not going to take things lightly any further. We are going to pick off the last of these Bloodhound Savages and execute them. We know where David is hiding and we are going to finish this once and for all!”

All but the mutineers begin to cheer. More Black Rose members begin to come into the bay, crowding around the mutineers carrying bats, knives, and a few guns. Zwei drags Jackie over to the window and kicks him out through it into the mutineers.

“Finish these Scum off then get some rest, it’s going to be a big day tomorrow.”

She smiles as screams begin to be heard from the bay as the mutineers are beaten and cut. Jackie trying to fight his way out of it, but he is quickly taken down and stabbed several times. Chun-Li turns to face you as gunshots start being heard.

“Go get some rest, kid. You’re gonna need it.”

You nod and walk out and down the steps. As you pass the bay you hear the Screams and the cheers echoing from the bay. Good Riddance. You head back to your hospital bed and falls asleep.
