It was just another day on the job for me, a hard days work was coming to a close.

It was almost sun down and i had called my boss to let him know i was on my way home for the night...as i was driving to drop off the envolope which contains the earnings for the day i noticed a butcher shop...one that had not been there before and thought that it would make a great racket for the fam.

When i walked inside the place was about to close, i seen a heavy set guy working behind the counter...i deciede to walk over to him.

He looks at me and says "what can i get for you"? i cut right to the chase and look into his eyes and say "protection money"!...as i said that he immediatly goes for his gun under the counter...as i go for my pistol its too late he flings his gun out and aims it at me and before he gets a shot off i duck and flip the cash register into him and run out of the store.

I was now very frustrated considering i had not had a problem all day...so i parked my car where he could not see me.

About an hour after the incident he walks out of the establishment and goes for his car...he opens his door and put his right leg in...just before his left could go in i came up aside of his door and kicked it and it smashed into his knee...screaming in pain he utters out...what do you want? i reply protection money hand it over...the man reaches into his coat pocket and hands me $500 cash.

I expect this everytime i walk in here if not ill be paying you a much more violent visit understand...he replies yes i understand.

I light a ciggarette and walk off into the night.

It's simple, but I think that this was very well done.  A good, relatable topic that brings the minutia of daily activity to light, and with some very creative events, including your method of enforcement.  Short and sweet, as well.  As always, spelling and grammar could be improved, but, overall, a nice job.
