Frank sat in the office of the chief of police in charge of the Chicago PD. His jacket hung on the back of the chair leaving him informally in a white shirt and suspenders. A smith and Wesson 38 hung from the suspenders in a shiny, brown leather holster. He eyeballed the chief as he spoke, a grey haze from his cigar filling the room.

"Its the eight murder Frank. Something needs to be done about these lads ''Shelby Inc.'' or whatever the fuck it is"

Frank smiled at the prospect of getting rid of these known thugs.

A black board sat on the desk at the front of the room with four pictures.

The man at the top wore a battered paddy cap with a razor in the peak. He was smiling and clearly drunk with two women in his lap.

"Tom Brady Shelby. A low ranking associate of the Koehler crew. Was born in Birmingham, England and run the local gang "Peaky Blinders". Moved here a few years ago and is known for dealings with the Irish almost landing him in prison. Now days he owns the docks trafficking illegal booze and prostitutes'

Frank nodded and took a long drag on his ciggerete blowing smoke the chiefs way.

''So who's the other two?"

The chief pointed to the picture of the man to his left. He was also smiling and was dressed in a black waistcoat behind the bar of Elegance hotel.

''KL a nasty piece of work. Toms right hand man although they are on equal par on what goes on. He's actually an initiated member of the Koehler crew and owns Elegance Hotel on the North Side. Has been involved in crimes alongside Tom and is providing a floor for Toms new loansharking expansion"

Frank looked at the picture of the last man.

''And who is that?''

The chief looked at the picture then at Frank.

"Scratchy. The highest ranking in the crew of the three. Its practically impossible to pin shit on him cause' he deals with most of the legitimate shit. Was in world war one and actually deserted. Is known to have a stutter and a tick when he gets nervous"

Frank leaned back and realized there was another photo down the bottom of the board.

"Whys he down there?'' Frank asked.

"Well Frank that's Matteo. Also an associate of Koehler and used the be involved in all the murders and beatings Shelby Inc. does. The only reason he's down there is because he's no longer in the area. In fact its unknown where he is''

Frank stubbed his cigar in the ash tray and put his Smith and Wesson on the table.

''Where do I come in Chief?''

The chief smiled crudely and dropped three 38' bullets on the table.

"You inspector are to infiltrate Shelby Inc. and put all three behind bars...or all three 6 feet under''

The inspector stood up and shook the chiefs hand before collecting his coat and approaching the front desk. The officer manning reception looked up then at the gun.

''How may I help you sir?''

The inspector nodded towards the phone on his desk.

''May I use it?''

The officer nodded.

''Be my guest sir"

After 6 seconds the person the inspector was calling picked up.

"Hello...yes it is. Shelly I need to see you right away. And wear your sexiest dress"
